NBA Game Summary - Orlando at Detroit

Auburn Hills, MI (Sports Network) - Richard Hamilton doled out a career-best 14 assists and posted 29 points, as the Detroit Pistons got by the Orlando Magic, 98-94, at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Tayshaun Prince finished with 20 points and Antonio McDyess notched 18 rebounds and 13 points for Detroit, which had a four-game win streak halted its last time out.
Rodney Stuckey and Kwame Brown chipped in 10 points apiece as the Pistons swept the season series (3-0) from Orlando with the win.
Rasheed Wallace left in the second quarter with a calf injury and did not return. Allen Iverson sat out his sixth consecutive game with a back problem.
Dwight Howard recorded 27 points, 14 boards and four blocks and Rashard Lewis ended with 21 points for the Southeast Division-leading Magic, who had a four- game win streak snapped.
Courtney Lee added 10 points in the loss.
Back-to-back threes by Lewis put Orlando up 85-83 halfway through the fourth, but a Stuckey deuce followed by two Hamilton jumpers allowed Detroit a five- point lead, 95-90, with 1:01 on the clock.
Orlando had a chance to tie the game after Howard banked home a deuce and Lewis came up with a theft of Hamilton, but Lewis' ensuing three-ball was off the mark and Hamilton was able to seal the win at the line.
Two free throws by Howard knotted the contest at 21-all after 12 minutes and the game remained tight in the second as Lee's free throw closed out the half and gave Orlando a 45-42 advantage.
Two Howard free throws close to halfway through the third provided a 58-54 lead but three straight baskets on the other end, capped by an alley-oop slam from Jason Maxiell gave Detroit a two-point advantage.
Back-to-back field goals by Maxiell and McDyess stretched the lead to six late in the frame before consecutive Magic three-pointers by Mickael Pietrus and Anthony Johnson cut the lead to two, 73-71, entering the fourth.
The Pistons have won 19 of the past 24 matchups in the series....Detroit is 17-15 at The Palace in 2008-09, while Orlando fell to 22-10 away from home this season.
