Oklahoma City, OK (Sports Network) - Jeff Green and Kevin Durant scored 27 points apiece to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 107-99 victory over the New York Knicks.
Durant also hauled in 12 rebounds for the Thunder, who have won two of three overall. Russell Westbrook ended with 22 points and nine assists, while Desmond Mason logged 13 points.
Al Harrington tallied 21 points and four steals for the Knicks, who were coming off a 100-88 win against the Celtics. David Lee gave 14 points and 13 boards in defeat, while Chris Duhon had 18 points and six helpers.
Two buckets from Nate Robinson and a jumper from Duhon brought New York within 93-87 with about 9 1/2 minutes left in the game.
Following a timeout by the Thunder, Lee connected on a layup and Wilson Chandler added two free throws to bring the Knicks within 93-91 with 8:21 left in the tilt.
Durant scored the next four points and Joe Smith added a jumper to balloon the Thunder's lead to 99-91.
New York kept chipping away and a pair of free throws from Robinson made it 102-99 with a minute left.
Three points is as close as the Knicks got, as they were held scoreless over the final minute.
The Thunder struck for a 35-23 lead after the first 12 minutes and were up 63-50 heading into the locker room.
Westbrook's two free throws closed out a 16-6 run Oklahoma City used to open the third quarter. The surge gave the home team a 79-56 lead just prior to the midway point of the third.
The Knicks trailed 91-79 heading into the final frame.
The Knicks were 18-of-19 from the free throw line, while the Thunder hit 24- of-31 from the stripe...New York started a four-game road trip Tuesday that will also include stops in Dallas, Houston and New Orleans. The Knicks are 5-12 away from home this season...Oklahoma City is just 4-15 at home this season...New York defeated the Thunder back on November 14 to snap a three- game losing streak in the series.
