Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Tim Duncan registered 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, leading the San Antonio Spurs to a 91-80 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Tony Parker had 19 points and dished out five assists for the Spurs, who have won six of their last seven games and improved to 9-5 as the visitor this season. Manu Ginobili totaled 13 points, six rebounds, six assists and five steals for San Antonio, which swept Memphis in the four-game season series and has won 14 of the last 16 overall versus the Grizzlies.
Hakim Warrick scored 16 points and grabbed six boards for the Grizzlies, who have one win in their last nine contests. Marc Gasol had 15 points and 11 rebounds, while rookie O.J. Mayo chipped in 12 points.
The Spurs held a 28-20 lead after 12 minutes and finished the second quarter with a slim four-point edge, at 44-40. A running jumper by Rudy Gay cut Memphis' deficit to 56-48 midway through the third, then San Antonio countered with an 11-0 spurt, capped by Parker's layup.
Memphis closed the frame on an 8-0 burst and went into the fourth quarter trailing 67-56.
Matt Bonner drained a three and Roger Mason followed with a deuce to give San Antonio an 82-63 lead with six minutes to go in regulation. After Warrick and Bonner exchanged baskets, the Grizzlies scored seven consecutive points to make it 84-72, but that's as close as they got until the game's final score.
Bonner finished with 16 points in the win...Gay and Mike Conley each had nine points for Memphis, which shot 39.7 percent (31-of-78) from the floor, including 2-of-14 from beyond the arc...San Antonio made 47.9 percent of its shots.
