NBA Game Summary - Toronto at Golden State

(Monday, December 29th)

Final Score: Golden State 117, Toronto 111

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Stephen Jackson was one of six Warriors in double figures, finishing with 30 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to lead Golden State past Toronto, 117-111, at ORACLE Arena.

Marco Belinelli dropped 23 points and dished out six helpers for Golden State, which had lost eight of 10 entering Monday.

The Warriors were coming off a split in back-to-back tests against the NBA's top two teams over the weekend, having shocked the defending champion Celtics on Friday -- sending Boston to consecutive defeats on the heels of a franchise-record 19-game winning streak.

The Lakers, though, logged a 17-point victory at the Staples Center on Sunday.

Kelenna Azubuike donated 18 points and C.J. Watson 15 in the win. Andris Biedrins logged 13 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks.

Chris Bosh equaled Jackson with 30 points and hauled in 14 rebounds while Jose Calderon contributed 21 points and a game-high 16 assists.

The Raptors concluded a tough six-game road swing 2-4 and have dropped seven of the last nine games overall.

Toronto also had six players scoring in double figures. Jamario Moon chipped in 12 points while Joey Graham and Jason Kapono both had 11 in the loss.

The Warriors used a 14-5 spurt early in the fourth to get their lead into double digits but then hit for just three field goals over the next six-plus minutes and a Bosh three-pointer moved Toronto within two, 106-104, with 3 1/2 minutes to play.

A Kapono jumper allowed for the same deficit with 1:10 to play but Golden State hit 7-of-7 from the line to seal the victory after Watson's jumper made it 110-106 inside one minute remaining.

The Raptors led 29-28 after 12 minutes but Golden State finished the second quarter on a 17-7 run with three-pointers from Belinelli, Azubuike and Watson to take an eight-point lead at the break, 60-52.

The Warriors opened the second half with threes from Jackson and Watson and quickly built up a 72-57 advantage three minutes in before ending the third quarter up seven, 86-79.
