Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Kenyon Martin led a balanced Nuggets attack with 26 points and eight rebounds as Denver used a big fourth quarter to upend Chicago, 114-101.

Carmelo Anthony nearly posted a triple-double with 21 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists, while Nene and Chauncey Billups added 21 points apiece with the latter dishing out eight assists for Denver, which has won five of six.

Ben Gordon led all scorers with 28 points and Drew Gooden chipped in a 21- point, seven-rebound effort for the Bulls, who have gone 1-3 during a current seven-game road trip.

Trailing 99-96, the Nuggets pulled away with a 13-0 spurt capped by a Martin three-point play with just under three minutes remaining in the game. The Bulls made just one field goal the rest of the way as Martin closed the contest with a rare three-pointer down the stretch.

The Nuggets jumped ahead, 27-18, after 12 minutes of play behind an 11-4 run to close the frame.

Chicago fought back to get within 51-49 in the second, but six straight Denver points -- four by Linas Kleiza -- helped the hosts take a 58-54 lead at intermission.

The Bulls took their first lead of the third quarter on an Aaron Gray three- point play at the 4:32 mark, and another three-point play the old-fashioned way from Gray capped eight straight Chicago points later in the frame to help the visitors take an 85-83 advantage into the pivotal fourth quarter.
