"It was a great offensive first half for us and I thought we shared the
basketball well," said Philadelphia coach Maurice Cheeks. "Our defense was ok
but obviously our offense was the star, getting guys open and obviously making

had a lot of dribble penetration. I thought that was the difference with them
getting inside and getting themselves back in the game. Overall, I thought it
was a good first half and the second half was a game that we had to grind it
out in terms of guarding and making shots."
Gerald Wallace had 21 points and seven assists, and Walter Herrmann added 17
points for the Bobcats, who had won two in a row and four of their last six

"It's tough. They (76ers) outplayed us by making shots," said Bobcats forward

don't think any team has probably won when the opposite team has shot 81% in
the first quarter."
