Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Jason Terry scored 23 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 20 as Dallas used a third-quarter surge and held on late to down Memphis, 106-101, at American Airlines Center. Erick Dampier had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Mavericks, who rebounded from a loss to Portland on Tuesday. Jason Kidd contributed 10 points and dished out 10 assists. Zach Randolph recorded a game-high 27 points and 14 rebounds in defeat for the Grizzlies, who had their three-game win streak halted. Rudy Gay went for 22 points and 10 boards, while O.J. Mayo added 18 points, five rebounds and five assists in a losing cause.

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Al Horford scored 25 points and yanked down a season-best 19 rebounds as Atlanta never trailed in posting a 110-98 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Joe Johnson added 24 points and Josh Smith scored 22 for the Hawks, who won for the eighth time in 10 games. They've also beaten the Pacers five straight times. The trio of Horford, Johnson and Smith combined to go 28-of-42 from the field. Jamal Crawford chipped in 19 points in the victory. Troy Murphy and Tyler Hansbrough each had a strong game for Indiana, which dropped its fifth in a row. Both scored 19 points with Murphy logging 12 rebounds and Hansbrough 11. Luther Head also scored 19 in defeat.

East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - Aaron Brooks hit the go-ahead layup with 37.3 seconds remaining and Carl Landry scored half of his game-high 26 points in the final quarter, guiding the Rockets to a 98-93 victory over the lowly Nets, sending New Jersey to its ninth consecutive defeat. Landry, who also had nine rebounds, shot 9-of-14 from the field, as Houston won for the fourth time in five contests. Trevor Ariza narrowly missed a triple-double, finishing with 13 points, 11 boards and eight assists. Brooks and Luis Scola each scored 17 in the triumph. Devin Harris scored 19 for the Nets, who fell to 2-28 on the season. Brook Lopez ended with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Yi Jianlian also scored 17 in defeat. Keyon Dooling had 11 points and Courtney Lee scored 10.

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Tyrus Thomas returned from a near two-month absence to post 21 points and nine rebounds, sparking the Bulls to a 96-85 decision over the Hornets. Thomas missed 22 games with a fractured forearm and came back in time to ignite a Chicago club that had lost eight of its previous 11 games. Derrick Rose logged 14 points, nine assists and six boards, while Joakim Noah added 17 points with 18 caroms for Chicago. Devin Brown paced New Orleans with 22 points behind 6-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc. Chris Paul netted 15 points with seven assists, as the Hornets, who had won three of four coming into the game, fell to 2-12 on the road.

Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Corey Brewer stepped up with a career-high 27 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves in a 101-89 defeat of the Washington Wizards at the Target Center. Kevin Love had 17 points and 10 rebounds while Al Jefferson ended with 11 points, five boards and five assists for Minnesota, which won back-to-back games for the first time this season. Ramon Sessions chipped in 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists and Damien Wilkins secured a game-high 13 rebounds to pair with nine points. Gilbert Arenas totaled 26 points, nine assists and seven boards for the Wizards, who had won two straight and three of the previous four games. Antawn Jamison dropped 20 points, Randy Foye 16 and Caron Butler 13 in the loss.

Oklahoma City, OK (Sports Network) - Kevin Durant poured in 30 points in Oklahoma City's 98-91 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. Russell Westbrook tallied 22 points, while Nenad Krstic scored 13 to go with 10 rebounds for the Thunder, who posted their second straight win. Stephen Jackson finished with 24 points and eight boards for the Bobcats, who are 4-8 this month with December games upcoming against Milwaukee at home and then at Toronto on Wednesday. Nazr Mohammed scored 16 and had eight rebounds, while Gerald Wallace netted 13, Raymond Felton 12 and Stephen Graham 11 in defeat.

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Tim Duncan scored 26 points to lead an efficient 112-97 Spurs rout of the Milwaukee Bucks. Tony Parker added 16 points and eight assists while Manu Ginobili posted 13 points and eight helpers for San Antonio, which had a three-game winning streak stopped the last time out. Antonio McDyess chipped in 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting and Richard Jefferson scored 11 as San Antonio won easily behind a 59.7-percent shooting effort from the field. Hakim Warrick put in 23 points for Milwaukee, which has lost five of its last six games. Jodie Meeks scored 15 and Luke Ridnour 13 in defeat.

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Deron Williams scored 27 points and dished out eight assists as the Jazz continued their home domination of Philadelphia with a 97-76 victory. Carlos Boozer chipped in 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Mehmet Okur and Wesley Matthews each finished with 16 points for Utah, which beat the Sixers for the 19th time in the last 21 encounters in Salt Lake City. The Jazz snapped a two-game overall skid. Thaddeus Young had 20 points to lead Philadelphia, which lost its third in a row and 16th in its last 18 tries. Andre Iguodala ended with 16 points and eight boards for the Sixers, who are 0-2 on a six-game road trip.

Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - Kobe Bryant poured in a game-high 38 points and made two key three-pointers in the second overtime, as the Los Angeles Lakers bounced back from a Christmas loss with a 112-103 victory over the Sacramento Kings at ARCO Arena. Bryant also had seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals for the Lakers, who had their five-game winning streak stopped with Friday's 102-87 setback to Cleveland. Pau Gasol chipped in 24 points, 11 rebounds, and six blocks. Shannon Brown added 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench while Lamar Odom ended with 13 points and 15 rebounds for Los Angeles, which outscored Sacramento, 11-2, in the second OT. The Lakers were without forward Ron Artest, who tripped over a box and fell down a flight of stairs on Friday night, sustaining injuries to his head and left elbow. Beno Udrih finished with 23 points and six assists for the Kings, who have lost two in a row after a two-game winning streak. Tyreke Evans tallied 18 points and five rebounds.

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Corey Maggette and Monta Ellis each poured in 33 points to guide Golden State in a 132-127 triumph over the Phoenix Suns in an explosive offensive affair. Ellis also had 10 assists and six rebounds, but accounted for seven of his team's 20 turnovers. That led to 24 Phoenix points, but the Suns were their own worst enemy Saturday night. Phoenix had 21 turnovers, leading to 35 points for the Warriors, who snapped a seven-game skid. Anthony Randolph had 17 points, while C.J. Watson and Anthony Morrow each contributed 14 in the win. Stephen Curry ended with 13 points. Steve Nash had a huge offensive performance with 36 points and nine assists for the Suns, who were coming off a 31-point home win over the Clippers on Christmas.
