Description: Twins outfielder Chris Parmelee slashed three hits in Thursday's loss to Los Angeles.
Insight: Parmelee has gone ten for his last 19 to raise his average from .174 to .250. He's still not seeing regular at bats so fantasy owners should hold off for the time being.

6/18/2014 4:38:00 PM
Description: Three of the Twins' four hits on Wednesday came off the bat of Chris Parmelee.
Insight: Parmelee gave the Twins a 1-0 lead with his solo shot in the tenth but Casey Fien quickly coughed up the lead by allowing David Ortiz and Mike Napoli to hit back-to-back homers in the bottom of the inning. Even after going 3-for-4, Parmelee's season average is still barely over .200. He's not a fantasy option.

Hot5/14/2014 9:16:00 AM
Description: Minnesota 1B/OF Chris Parmelee belted a walkoff home run Tuesday against Boston.
Insight: It was part of a three-hit night for the 26-year-old. Parmelee has hit .438 in 16 at bats since his callup at the end of last week.

6/23/2013 10:16:00 AM
Description: Twins right fielder Chris Parmelee slugged two homers Saturday in a loss at Cleveland.
Insight: Parmelee came up huge on Saturday, delivering three hits and two runs in five trips to the plate. He's only batting .232 for the season so fantasy owners shouldn't expect performances like this to be an everyday occurrence.

6/4/2013 9:53:00 AM
Description: Minnesota OF/1B Chris Parmelee hasn't done much this season that's fantasy worthy, but he is 4-for-5 with a home run when facing Royals starter Luis Mendoza.
Insight: Parmelee is batting .233 with five homers and 14 RBI, but outfielders with a .674 OPS don't usually excite fantasy owners. This matchup, however, appears to be favorable.

4/4/2012 2:10:00 PM
Description: Minnesota manager Ron Gardenhire said that Chris Parmelee will start the season as the team's first baseman and Justin Morneau as the designated hitter.
Insight: Parmelee batted just .261 this spring, but hit five homers, knocked in 13 runs and posted a .886 OPS. The move allows the team to protect Morneau's health and get some added pop in a lineup missing both Michael Cuddyer and Jason Kubel this year.
