Description: Angels ace Jered Weaver was placed on the 15-disabled list with a radial head fracture to his left elbow which will require 4-to-6 weeks to heal, according to Ken Rosenthal.
Insight: Weaver was rocked on Sunday, giving up five runs on seven hits, including a pair of homers. The injury happened in the sixth inning as he was diving out of the way of a line drive by Mitch Moreland. He's looking at a mid-May return. Garrett Richards or Jerome Williams are the leading candidates to get an opportunity to start.
