Insight: He went 4-for-5 with his first career homer, three RBI and two runs Friday at Washington and is 15 for his last 27 (.556). The Giants have been looking for a starting second baseman all season, even going as far as giving Dan Uggla a brief chance, and they may have found one in the 23-year-old Panik, a 2011 first-round pick who hit .321 with five homers and an .829 OPS in Triple-A this year.

Insight: Panik has not proven that he can hit major league pitching, batting just .210 with a .507 OPS therefore this shouldn't change any lineups. Ehire Adrianza will start but he doesn't have any fantasy value either.
