Description: Philadelphia outfielder Jason Pridie has been designated for assignment. | Insight: Pridie appeared in nine games for the Phillies this season, going 3-for-10 with a home run and three RBIs. Pridie, who appeared in 101 games for the Mets in 2011 (.231, 4 HRs, 20 RBIs), is likely headed either to Triple-A Lehigh Valley or another team, where he would probably play a similar reserve role. His fantasy value is nonexistent at this point.

Description: Phillies outfielder Jason Pridie's home run accounted for all three of Philadelphia's runs Sunday as the Braves were able to complete the three-game sweep. | Insight: Pridie (.600, 1 HR, 3 RBIs) only got the start on Sunday after manager Charlie Manuel scratched Shane Victorino (.245, 8 HRs, 37 RBIs) from the lineup at the last minute. Apparently Victorino wasn't thrilled with hitting seventh and Manuel responded by taking him out of the lineup altogether. If this tension between Victorino and Manuel continues, Pridie might start to see more playing time in center field.
