Insight: Heyward led off the bottom of the ninth with a home run to tie the game at three. St. Louis then loaded the bases with one out when Johnny Peralta grounded out to third. The Diamondbacks recorded the out at home, but Peter Bourjos slide hard at home and effected backup catcher Jordan Pacheco's throw to first. The throw went into right field, and Matt Carpenter scored the winning run. Heyward was 2-for-4 in the game and is slashing .239/.290/.387 this season.
