New York, NY (Sports Network) - San Francisco Giants bench coach Ron Wotus was hit with a one-game suspension by Major League Baseball on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old was punished for inappropriate actions during Saturday's home game against the Milwaukee Brewers, which included coming onto the field from the dugout following his ejection for arguing balls and strikes in the fourth inning of a 4-2 victory.

He will serve the suspension later Tuesday, when the Giants open up a three- game series in Philadelphia.
