Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Indians walked off in more dramatic fashion this time. Yan Gomes' game-winning three-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted the Tribe to a 10-8 win and a four-game sweep of the Seattle Mariners. The Indians, who tallied walk-off wins in the first two games of this set, rallied in the home ninth after Seattle plated a run in the top half of the inning to send the game into extras. After the Mariners pushed another run across to go ahead in the 10th, the Tribe roared back again. Charlie Furbush (0-3) allowed a leadoff single to Michael Brantley before first baseman Justin Smoak was unable to hang onto Furbush's throw on Drew Stubbs' sacrifice bunt attempt. The count was 2-2 before Gomes belted a fastball just over the wall in left field to give Cleveland its fifth straight victory.

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Edwin Encarnacion's bases-clearing double in the seventh inning lifted the Toronto Blue Jays to a 7-5 win over the Tampa Bay Rays in the opener of a three-game set. R.A. Dickey (4-5) surrendered three runs -- two earned -- over his first three innings, but settled down and didn't allow another run over his last five frames. He struck out five in all and gave up four hits and four walks in the win. Melky Cabrera added an RBI double among his two hits for Toronto, which has won five of its last seven tilts. Evan Longoria tallied two hits, two RBI and a run scored, while Yunel Escobar smacked a two-run homer for the Rays, who had won nine of their last 11 contests coming in.

Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Vernon Wells doubled home the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning, and the New York Yankees extended Baltimore's recent woes with a 6-4 win over the Orioles in the opener of a three-game series at Camden Yards. The Yankees belted four solo home runs, with the last one by Travis Hafner tying the game in the ninth. The one-out blast to left field was served up by Baltimore closer Jim Johnson, who suffered his third consecutive blown save after converting a club-record 35 straight. After David Robertson (3-0) shut down the Orioles in the bottom of the ninth, New York quickly jumped on Pedro Strop (0-2). Ichiro Suzuki ripped a pitch into the right-field corner for a leadoff double and Wells followed with a hit that bounced over the left-field wall. Wells later scored on a two-out single by Hafner. Mariano Rivera tossed a flawless bottom of the 10th to collect his 17th save of the season. Robinson Cano, David Adams and Lyle Overbay also homered for the Yankees, who have won three straight games and 10 of their last 13. Baltimore has lost a season-high six in a row. The Orioles have also dropped seven straight at home for the first time since an 11-game slide Aug. 22-Sept. 7, 2007.

Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - Seth Smith went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, two RBI and three runs scored to back a solid start from Bartolo Colon, as the Oakland Athletics downed the Texas Rangers, 9-2, in the opener of a three-game set Monday. Colon (4-2) scattered six hits and a pair of walks while giving up just two runs and striking out three over seven stellar innings to earn his first victory since April 23. Coco Crisp finished 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored, while Yoenis Cespedes, Brandon Moss, Chris Young and Eric Sogard each added an RBI and a run scored for the A's, who have won four straight since dropping two of three to the Rangers in Oakland last week. Josh Lindblom (0-1) was tagged with the loss in his first career start after yielding four runs on seven hits over 4 2/3 frames. The 25-year-old right- hander entered the contest with a 4-5 record over 101 relief appearances before converting to a starter earlier this season. Jurickson Profar, making his season debut after being recalled from Triple-A Round Rock Sunday to replace injured second baseman Ian Kinsler, knocked in both runs for the Rangers, who had won two straight and five of six coming into the contest.

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Adam Dunn clubbed a three-run homer to help the Chicago White Sox hand Boston's Jon Lester his first loss of the season with a 6-4 win in the opener of a three-game set at U.S. Cellular Field. Dylan Axelrod (2-3) tossed six strong innings for the White Sox, who snapped a two- game slide and won for the fifth time in their last seven games. Axelrod held the Red Sox to four hits, with the lone hiccup being a two-run homer by Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Lester (6-1), meanwhile, was tagged for six runs -- five earned -- on seven hits over six frames. All six Chicago runs were scored with two outs. Boston had won five games in a row.

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Matt Dominguez launched a three-run home run in the fourth inning that proved to be the difference as the Houston Astros topped the Kansas City Royals, 6-5, in the opener of a three-game set from Minute Maid Park. Dominguez and Jimmy Paredes had two hits apiece to pace Houston, which won for the third time in five tries after dropping six in a row. Jason Castro added his fourth homer of the season. Jose Veras saved it with a perfect ninth for Dallas Keuchel (1-1), who yielded four runs on nine hits and four walks over 6 2/3 innings. Jeremy Guthrie (5-2) absorbed his second consecutive loss after giving up all six runs on eight hits in five innings.

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Dan Uggla and the Braves staked Julio Teheran to an early lead, and the young right-hander did the rest in pitching Atlanta to a 5-1 victory over the struggling Minnesota Twins in the opener of a three- game interleague series at Turner Field. The 22-year-old Teheran (3-1) allowed five hits and one walk while fanning four over 8 1/3 effortless innings. He had retired eight in a row before Josh Willingham spoiled his shutout bid with a one-out homer in the ninth. Uggla belted a three-run homer, and Freddie Freeman drove in a run and scored another for the Braves, who have won four straight following a 1-5 stretch. Kevin Correia (4-4) was chased after four innings, having surrendered five runs on eight hits in Minnesota's sixth straight loss.
