(Sports Network) - Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda reportedly suffered a mild heart attack Monday and is currently recovering in a New York hospital.

TMZ.com reported that the 84-year-old is expected to be released on Wednesday.

Lasorda, who was in New York representing the Dodgers at the MLB draft, compiled a 1,599-1,439 record while winning two World Series titles, four National League pennants, and eight division titles in his 21-year managerial career.
