Brookline, MA (Sports Network) - Brady Watt and Neil Raymond secured co- medalist honors Tuesday at the U.S. Amateur Championship.

Watt fired a 4-under-par 66 at Charles River Country Club to finish 36 holes at 6-under 134, while Raymond joined him there courtesy of his second straight 67.

Canada's Justin Shin shot 66 and finished in a tie for third place at 3-under 137. He was joined there by Oliver Goss (67) and 18-year-old Matthew Fitzpatrick, the low amateur at the 2013 British Open, who played at the tournament's other site, The Country Club.

Michael Miller (69), Nick Hardy (73) and Bryson Dechambeau (71) shared sixth place at 2-under, while Bo Andrews fired a 63 to finish in an eight-way tie for ninth place at minus-1. Andrews, who played at Charles River, broke the competitive course record.

Watt, of Australia, mixed seven birdies and three bogeys during his second round, while Raymond, a 27-year-old Englishman, countered four birdies against his lone bogey at Charles River.

The cut line fell at plus-4 and the 17 players that finished on the number will compete in a playoff for the final 15 match play spots Wednesday at 7 a.m. ET.

Defending champion Steven Fox posted rounds of 72-74 and finished outside the cut line at plus-6.

The match-play portion of the championship runs from Wednesday through Sunday's 36-hole final.
