Neshanic Station, NJ (Sports Network) - For the second straight year, Annie Park has reached the quarterfinals at the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship.

Park, who fell in the semis last year, earned a 2 & 1 win over Brittany Altomare in Thursday's third round at Neshanic Valley Golf Course. Earlier in the day, Park downed Sally Watson, 3 & 1. Watson was also a quarterfinalist last year.

Park advances to face Alice Jeong in the quarters. Jeong beat stroke-play medalist and 2010 runner-up Lisa McCloskey in the second round, then fended off Allyssa Ferrell in the round of 16. Ferrell bogeyed the 17th to give Jeong the 1-up lead, then the pair matched pars at the last.

Lakareber Abe picked up a pair of 1-up victories on Thursday. She downed Elisabeth Bernabe in the morning, then beat 2010 U.S. Girls' Junior champion Doris Chen in the afternoon. Abe won the 14th when Chen made double-bogey, then won the match as the duo halved the last four holes.

Abe will take on Kyung Kim, who won her two matches by the same 2 & 1 margin. Kim took out Yi Chen Liu in round two and Rachel Morris in the third round.

Chirapat Jao-Javanil cruised to a 4 & 3 victory over Pailin Ruttanasupagid in the third round after holding off Karen Chung, 2-up, in round two.

Jao-Javanil will battle Kim Kaufman in the quarterfinals. Kaufman hung on for a 2 & 1 win over Allisen Corpuz in round three. Earlier in the day, Kaufman beat 2011 quarterfinalist Demi Frances Runas, 3 & 2.

The final quarterfinal match will pit Grace Na against Ashlan Ramsey. Na had the easiest day of any competitor, winning her first match 4 & 3 over Lea Garner. In the afternoon, Na cruised to a 5 & 3 victory over Kristine Odaiyar.

Ramsey had a relatively easy first match as she bounced Emilie Burger, 4 & 3. In round three, Ramsey earned a 1-up win over Jennifer Yang after Yang made double-bogey on the final hole.
