| NOTES | | | The focus of this week`s stop on the Nationwide Tour has nothing to do with a
golfer. Not exactly. John Smoltz, a potential Hall of Famer and scratch
golfer, was given an exemption into this year`s field. A common theme this
week, weather was the problem last year. There was a 4 1/2 hour weather delay
on Sunday, but Australian Ewan Porter shot a two-under 70 to come from behind
and get the win. Porter won by a single stroke over a now household name,
Jhonattan Vegas. It was his second Nationwide Tour victory after his first at
the 2008 Moonah Classic. There is no television coverage of this event. Next
week is the Stadion Classic at UGA and Martin Piller won last year`s title.
