The Nationwide Tour`s equivalent of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am is this week in
the Carolinas. The pros will play with amateurs over the first three days on
three different courses. Garth Mulroy closed with a four-under 67 last year
to end alongside Sunghoon Kang at minus-18. Mulroy parred the first playoff
hole to beat Kang and win for the second time on the Nationwide Tour. Both
Mulroy and Kang have moved on to the PGA Tour so neither are in the field
this week.
