The Canadian Tour travels to Ontario this week for the Economical Insurance Group Seaforth Country Classic, the final event prior to next week's Canadian Tour Championship.

Last year, Brian Unk fired a seven-under 64 in the final round to polish off his second Canadian Tour victory, albeit a historic one. Unk finished the championship at 28-under 256, which was good for a three-shot victory over James Hahn at Seaforth Golf Club. Unk's 256 was the lowest total score in Canadian Tour history, besting the 258 Kent Eger posted in 2008 en route to victory at this championship. His 28-under par is the lowest score in relation to par and that topped PGA Tour veteran Tim Clark, who had a 27-under at the 1998 New Brunswick Open.

In 2008, Eger fired a seven-under 64 in the final round to win a shootout. Eger completed the tournament at 26-under-par 258, two strokes clear of Wil Collins, John Ellis and Daniel Im.

PGA Tour player and 2003 Masters champion Mike Weir captured his first-ever victory at Seaforth Golf Club as a 13-year-old. The ninth hole is named "Weir's Win." Seaforth is celebrating its golden anniversary and is located north of London and west of Kitchener in the heart of South-Western Ontario. The course was designed with input from Canadian Golf Hall of Famer Dan Halldorson and the Doig family.

The Canadian Tour remains in Ontario next week for the Canadian Tour Championship, where James Love captured the 2009 event. St. Catharines Golf & Country Club will be the host site.
