Insight: He had a goal and an assist, along with four shots and a plus-one rating on the night. Ennis now has 19 goals and 42 points through 72 games this season.
Matt Moulson, LW3/20/2015 9:47:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored Buffalo's only goal in the, 3-1, loss to the Devils on Friday.

Rasmus Ristolainen, D3/17/2015 10:15:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen scored the team's lone goal during Tuesday's shootout win over the Bruins.
Insight: He can left on the wire, as he has just five goals, 13 points, and a minus-33 rating through 67 games this season.
Tyler Ennis, LW3/16/2015 9:55:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored a goal Monday against the Capitals.
Insight: It was Ennis' 18th goal of the season, and he now has 38 points and 37 penalty minutes on the season. Cody Hodgson and Johan Larsson also lit the lamp for Buffalo.
Matt Moulson, LW3/11/2015 9:51:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson had a goal and two assists Wednesday versus Toronto.
Insight: Moulson also had five shots on goal and a plus-three rating on the night. He now has 10 goals and 33 points through 64 games. Johan Larsson also recorded three points (one goal, two assists) on Wednesday night for Buffalo.
Tyler Ennis, LW3/11/2015 9:50:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis recorded three points on Wednesday night.
Insight: He had one goal, two assists, three shots, and a plus-three rating. Ennis now has 17 goals, 37 points, and 37 penalty minutes through 65 games this season.
Tyler Ennis, LW3/6/2015 10:26:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored in Buffalo's, 3-2, loss to the Senators on Friday.
Insight: Ennis has 16 goals and 18 assists in 63 games this season.
Anders Lindback, G3/3/2015 11:20:00 AM
Description: Sabres goalie Andres Lindback had a decent Buffalo debut, making 32 saves on 35 shots, but his team failed to score and lost, 3-0.
Insight: Buffalo recently acquired Lindback from the Dallas Stars. Lindback and Chad Johnson, the former Islanders' backup goaltender will likely split the starts moving forward, but it is not recommended to use either one. The Sabres have more than twice as many losses than victories.
Cody Hodgson, C2/28/2015 7:29:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Cody Hodgson scored a goal and an assist in Saturday's loss to the Panthers.
Insight: Hodgson scored and assisted Andrej Meszaros' goal in the first period as the Sabres jumped out to a, 2-0, lead. Florida, however, scored three unanswered goals in the second period and then the final two goals to win, 5-3. Hodgson has four goals and seven assists in 59 games this season.
Torrey Mitchell, C2/26/2015 9:42:00 PM
Description: Buffalo center Torrey Mitchell scored twice during Thursday's victory against the Canucks.
Insight: Mitchell was also plus-four on the night, with two shots on goal. He can be left on the wire, as he has just four goals and 12 points through 50 games. Brian Flynn, Brian Gionta, Andrej Meszaros, and Chris Stewart also tallied for the Sabres.
Michal Neuvirth, G2/24/2015 9:53:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth picked up his fifth win of the season.
Insight: He defeated Columbus on Tuesday night by stopping 45-of-47 shots on goal. This was arguably Neuvirth's best game of the season, but he still should be kept on the waiver wire, with a 5-16-3 record.
Zemgus Girgensons, C2/24/2015 9:51:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Zemgus Girgensons had a goal and an assist during Tuesday's win against the Blue Jackets.
Insight: He is now up to the 30-point mark, but with a minus-16 rating, there are better fantasy options out there.
Michal Neuvirth, G2/22/2015 9:06:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth made 37 saves in the shootout loss to the Predators on Sunday.
Insight: Neuvirth also made two nice saves in the shootout, but Filip Forsberg beat him in the fourth round to lift Nashville over Buffalo. Neuvirth is 4-17-2 this season with a GAA over 3.00, so hopefully there aren't too many fantasy owners out there counting on his production.
Matt Moulson, LW2/20/2015 10:18:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored his team only goal as Buffalo lost to the New York Rangers, 3-1.
Insight: Moulson has nine goals and 16 assists in 56 games this season.
Tyler Ennis, LW2/19/2015 11:17:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis led the Sabres with five shots on net Thursday versus the Flyers.
Insight: Ennis didn't record a point, but the shot attempts indicate he was very active. On the tanking Sabres, Ennis should get plenty of opportunities to shoot the puck.
Michal Neuvirth, G2/19/2015 11:13:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth made 36 saves in the, 3-2, shootout victory over the Flyers on Thursday.
Insight: One of the two goals Neuvirth allowed was on the power play. He allowed one shootout goal on four attempts. Despite the good game, he still isnt' fantasy relevant with a record of 4-15-2 this season.
Tyler Ennis, LW2/17/2015 10:20:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored the team's lone goal during Tuesday's shootout loss to the Devils.
Insight: Ennis is one of the lone bright spots on the Sabres from a scoring perspective. He now has 14 goals and 32 points through 57 games, but is also minus-19 on the season as well.
Nikita Zadorov, D2/15/2015 10:14:00 PM
Description: Sabres defenseman Nikita Zadorov scored the team's lone goal During Sunday's loss versus Philadelphia.
Insight: Zadorov really is not much of an option for owners, with just three goals and 13 points for 40 games this seasons. He does have 37 penalty minutes, but it is not enough to warrant a roster spot.
Anders Lindback, G2/12/2015 10:54:00 AM
Description: Anders Lindback's trade to Buffalo should give him a chance to start over from a horrible start with Dallas.
Insight: Lindback was 2-8-0 with an ugly 3.71 GAA and .875 save percentage with the Stars. His GAA hasn't been below .290 since 2011-12 with Nashville, so fantasy owners should probably take a wait-and-see attitude.
Drew Stafford, RW2/11/2015 2:57:00 PM
Description: The Winnipeg Jets have acquired winger Drew Stafford from the Buffalo Sabres.
Insight: Stafford will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, so its very possible Stafford is just a rental player. Stafford has nine goals and 15 assists in 50 games this season.
Marcus Foligno, LW2/8/2015 7:33:00 PM
Description: Sabres left wing Marcus Foligno had two points in the, 3-2, loss to the Islanders on Sunday.
Insight: Foligno scored his sixth goal of the season after Buffalo fell behind, 3-0, and then he assisted Drew Stafford's goal later in the second period. Foligno has six goals and five assists in 29 games this season.
Zemgus Girgensons, C2/7/2015 9:50:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Zemgus Girgensons had a goal and an assist during Saturday's win against the Stars.
Insight: The All-Star also had two shots on goal and a plus-one rating on the night. Girgensons now has 14 goals and 26 points through 53 games.
Jhonas Enroth, G2/5/2015 9:44:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth allowed two goals in Thursday's loss to the Blues.

Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored a goal during Tuesday's victory against the Canadiens.
Insight: He also had two shots on goal and a plus-one rating on the night. Moulson now has eight goals and 21 points through 48 games this season.
Chris Stewart, RW1/31/2015 9:17:00 AM
Description: Sabres winger Chris Stewart scored the team's two goals in the, 5-2, loss to the Canucks on Friday.
Insight: Stewart scored two power-play goals as he kept Buffalo in the game through two periods. Stewart has nine goals and nine assists in 48 games this season. He is also minus-26, so he isn't much of a fantasy option.
Chris Stewart, RW1/28/2015 9:05:00 AM
Description: Sabres winger Chris Stewart scored the team's lone goal during Tuesday's loss against the Flames.
Insight: He also had four shots on goal. Stewart is not much of a fantasy option, with just seven goalsm 16 points, and a minus-23 rating through 46 games.
Zemgus Girgensons, C1/17/2015 9:52:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Zemgus Girgensons scored two goals during Saturday's loss against Philadelphia.
Insight: He also had four shots on goal, and now has 13 goals and 22 points through 46 games.
Michal Neuvirth, G1/13/2015 9:49:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth allowed three goals on 30 shots in a loss on Tuesday.
Insight: Neuvirth posted an even .900 save percentage in the game. It was his 12th loss of the season as Neuvirth has one of the worst records in the league at 3-12-1.
Michal Neuvirth, G1/9/2015 10:15:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth faced 47 shots on goal during Friday's loss to the Lightning.
Insight: He made 45 saves, but it was not enough. Neuvirth will continue to be the backup in Buffalo, and is now 3-11-1 on the season.
Philip Varone, C1/8/2015 9:42:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Phil Varone scored two goals during Thursday's loss against the Hurricanes.
Insight: It was just his second game of the season, and the 11th of his career. Owners should monitor Varone's progress.
Mikhail Grigorenko, C1/6/2015 9:35:00 PM
Description: Center Mikhail Grigorenko scored Buffalo's only goal on Tuesday's, 4-1, loss to New Jersey.
Insight: It was Grigorenko's first score in 10 games, and he has just one assist, so he isn't fantasy relevant.
Drew Stafford, RW1/3/2015 9:40:00 PM
Description: Sabres right wing Drew Stafford scored the team's lone goal during Saturday's loss to the Rangers.
Insight: He also had four shots on goal and a plus-one rating on the night. Stafford now has six goals and 20 points through 37 games. He can be left on the waiver wire.
Tyler Ennis, LW1/1/2015 11:51:00 AM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored the team's lone goal during Wednesday's loss to the Lightning.
Insight: He also had three shots on goal and a minus-two rating on the night. Ennis now has nine goals, 24 points, and a minus-12 rating through 38 games.
Zemgus Girgensons, C12/29/2014 10:21:00 PM
Description: The All-Star vote leader, Zemgus Girgensons, scored a goal on Monday.
Insight: Girgensons' score in the second period actually gave Buffalo a, 2-1, lead. Ottawa, however, scored four unanswered goals to end the game and win, 5-2. Girgensons, who leads All-Star voting because of a strong Latvian following, has 11 goals and nine assists in 37 games this season.
Chris Stewart, RW12/27/2014 10:02:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Chris Stewart scored the game-tying goal at the 11:51 mark of the third period to send Saturday's game against the Islanders into overtime.
Insight: Buffalo then won in a shootout, 4-3. Stewart is not really a fantasy option, though, with five goals, four assists and a minus-15 rating in 35 games this season.
Drew Stafford, RW12/27/2014 9:58:00 PM
Description: Sabres right wing Drew Stafford led Buffalo's comeback over the Islanders on Saturday.
Insight: Stafford assisted two third period goals as Buffalo scored three unanswered in the third to tie the game at three and send it into overtime. Buffalo then won in a shootout, 4-3. Stafford has five goals and 14 assists in 33 games this season.
Joel Armia, RW12/23/2014 1:47:00 PM
Description: The Sabres will call up winger Joel Armia from Rochester. He's a scorer and could be a viable fantasy option.
Insight: Armia, who was Buffalo's No. 1 draft choice in 2011, has notched seven goals and 16 points in 21 AHL games this year. He could play on the line with Zemgus Girgensons and Tyler Ennis.
Jhonas Enroth, G12/20/2014 9:36:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth stopped just 18-of-22 shots on goal during Saturday's loss versus Colorado.
Insight: Enroth is not a great fantasy option on such a lousy team. He now has a 10-11-1 record on the season.
Michal Neuvirth, G12/16/2014 10:45:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth allowed five goals on 36 shots during Tuesday's loss to the Jets.
Insight: Neuvirth should be owned anywhere, as he is now 3-7-1 on the season.
Matt Moulson, LW12/15/2014 9:58:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored a goal in Monday's shootout win against the Senators.
Insight: He also had three shots on goal and a minus-one rating on the night. Moulson now has seven goals and 15 points overall. There are better options out there.
Nikita Zadorov, D12/13/2014 10:07:00 PM
Description: Sabres defenseman Nikita Zadorov had his best fantasy day of the season on Saturday.
Insight: Zadorov scored a goal and an assist as Buffalo defeated Florida, 4-3. He still isn't fantasy relevant, however, as two of his three points of the season came in this game.
Jhonas Enroth, G12/11/2014 9:47:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth faced 45 shots during Thursday's win against Calgary.
Insight: Enroth stopped 42 of them and raised his record to 8-10-1. He has now won six of his past eight starts.
Matt Moulson, LW12/11/2014 9:46:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored two goals during Thursday's victory versus Calgary.
Insight: He now has six goals and 14 points through 29 games, but Moulson is not a relevant fantasy option at the moment.
Zemgus Girgensons, C12/11/2014 9:44:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons recorded two points in Thursday's win against the Flames.
Insight: He had a goal and an assist, along with a plus-three rating on the night. Girgensons now has 16 points through 29 games.
Jhonas Enroth, G12/9/2014 10:09:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth bounced back from his last performance, to earn a shutout Tuesday against Los Angeles.
Insight: After losing 5-0 on Dec. 4, Enroth stopped all 34 shots on Tuesday night. He is now 7-10-1, and should not be considered a relevant option.
Tyler Ennis, LW12/9/2014 10:07:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored the team's lone goal during Tuesday's win against the Kings.
Insight: The goal was massive with the Sabres winning 1-0. Ennis now has eight goals and 17 points through 28 games, but is also minus-10 overall.
Michal Neuvirth, G12/7/2014 10:59:00 AM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth allowed three goals on 37 shots during Saturday's loss to the Panthers.
Insight: Neuvirth should remain on the waiver wire, as he is 3-6-1 with a 2.87 GAA and.920 save percentage. He continues to be the backup in Buffalo.
Drew Stafford, RW12/6/2014 9:39:00 PM
Description: Sabres right wing Drew Stafford scored a goal during Saturday's loss to the Panthers.
Insight: He now has five goals and nine points through 24 games, but a minus-11 rating as well. Stafford is not a relevant fantasy option.
Jhonas Enroth, G12/2/2014 10:25:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth made 26 saves in Tuesday's shootout win against Tampa Bay.
Insight: He allowed only one goal, and improved his record to 6-9-1. Enroth is not a recommended fantasy option.
Zemgus Girgensons, C12/2/2014 10:23:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons extened his point-streak to three games on Tuesday.
Insight: He scored Buffalo's lone goal, and now has eight goals and 14 points on the season.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/29/2014 10:24:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth made 41 saves as Buffalo stole another one from the Canadiens.
Insight: Buffalo swept Montreal in the weekend home-and-home series. It took a shootout on Saturday where Enroth stopped all five Canadiens attempts. Enroth made 71 saves in the two victories this weekend.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/28/2014 10:29:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth had one of his best starts of the season on Friday.
Insight: Enroth stopped 30-of-31 shots versus the first-place Canadiens. The victory is Enroth's fourth of the season.
Tyler Ennis, LW11/28/2014 10:15:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored the highlight goal of the night on Friday.
Insight: He drove to the net on Carey Price during the first period, cut across the crease, and beat Price with a no-look, backhanded shot. Seriously, check out the video. Ennis also had an assist. He has six goals and eight helpers this season.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/26/2014 9:43:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth continued to be a poor fantasy option.
Insight: He took the loss to the Jets after stopping 24-of-26 shots on goal, and is now 3-9-1 on the season.
Matt Moulson, LW11/22/2014 10:08:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored a goal in Saturday's win against the Capitals.
Insight: He was also +1 on the night, and now has nine points on the season. Moulson should be left on the waiver wire.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/22/2014 10:04:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth played great Saturday against the Capitals.
Insight: Enroth was amazing and stopped 43 shots on goal. However, he should be kept off the fantasy radar, as his record is now 3-8-1.
Matt Moulson, LW11/15/2014 10:16:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored a goal and two assists on Saturday.
Insight: It was the biggest outburst of offensive production for Buffalo against the Maple Leafs, so that makes fantasy owners happy who continue to count on Sabres players. Moulson was plus-two with three shots as well. He has still been a big disappointment this season as he has just two goals and six assists.
Zemgus Girgensons, C11/15/2014 10:13:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons scored two goals against the Maple Leafs.
Insight: Buffalo scored a season-high six goals on Saturday to win its fourth game of the season. Girgensons was the only Sabre with multiple goals and a plus-four rating. He has six goals and four assists this season.
Zemgus Girgensons, C11/13/2014 10:37:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons recorded two points during Thursday's loss to Minnesota.
Insight: He also had two shots and a +1 rating on the night, but should not be considered a fantasy option for the time being.
Tyler Ennis, LW11/11/2014 10:59:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored a goal in Tuesday's loss to the Blues.
Insight: Ennis scored the lone Buffalo goal and had five shots. Ennis has five goals and three assists in 17 games.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/8/2014 9:30:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth allowed six goals on 39 shots during Saturday's loss to the Penguins.
Insight: Pittsburgh was on fire Saturday, and Enroth did not stand a chance. He is now an underwhelming 1-7-1 on the season.
Matt Moulson, LW11/7/2014 9:56:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored his first goal of the season on Friday.
Insight: That is a big indicator of how bad the Buffalo offense has been. Moulson should be one of their top scorers, and he has just three points through 15 games. He is also minus-six on the year.
Michal Neuvirth, G11/5/2014 10:43:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth allowed just one goal on 32 shots against the Candiens on Wednesday.
Insight: Neuvirth, however, yielded two goals in the shootout as Buffalo lost, 2-1. Neuvirth is now 2-3-1 on the season.
Tyler Ennis, LW10/30/2014 9:49:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored a goal in Thursday's loss to Boston.
Insight: He had an assist and three shots on goal as well, but was -1 on the night. It was Ennis' first assist of the season, and he will need to pick it up, to be considered a reliable fantasy option.
Michal Neuvirth, G10/28/2014 10:29:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth allowed four goals on 37 shots against the Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
Insight: It was just a sad performance overall from Buffalo, who only mustered 10 shots on net. Neuvirth can't be counted on in fantasy if his team is not going to support him at all.
Cody Hodgson, C10/25/2014 6:39:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Cody Hodgson scored his first goal of the season on Saturday.
Insight: He has not gotten off to the start that owners wished he would, but hopefully this goal will gets Hodgson going. Nicolas Deslauriers scored the other tally for Buffalo, his second-career goal.
Michal Neuvirth, G10/25/2014 6:33:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth earned his first win of the season, by defeating the Sharks on Saturday.
Insight: He stopped 29-of-30 shots, and played extremely well. However, Neuvirth is cemented in as Buffalo's backup goalie, moving forward.
Zemgus Girgensons, C10/18/2014 9:54:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons was one of the more impressive Sabres' skaters on Saturday against the Bruins.
Insight: That's not saying much since Boston won, 4-0. Girgensons had four shots, a hit and had an even rating. On a night the Sabres were shut out, fantasy owners should take that.
Jhonas Enroth, G10/18/2014 2:27:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth will be back in net for Buffalo on Saturday night.
Insight: After losing a tough one on Friday to the Panthers, 1-0, the Sabres are sticking with the hot hand. Owners need to make sure he is in their lineups, as goalies rarely play back-to-back nights.
Jhonas Enroth, G10/17/2014 9:49:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth took a tough-luck loss Friday against Florida.
Insight: He stopped 34-of-35 shots, but Buffalo was unable to give Enroth any support, as the Sabres fell 1-0. Enroth is not a recommended fantasy play, moving forward.
Marcus Foligno, LW10/14/2014 10:55:00 PM
Description: Sabres left wing Marcus Foligno scored twice on Tuesday against the Hurricanes.
Insight: Foligno scored the game's first goal and then he added insurance for Buffalo at the beginning of the third to make the score, 3-1. Carolina rallied, however, to send the game into overtime. Buffalo eventually won on a long shootout that went eight rounds and was finished by Zemgus Girgensons' goal.
Zemgus Girgensons, C10/14/2014 10:50:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons scored a goal in the eighth round of the shootout to defeat the Hurricanes, 4-3.
Insight: Matt Moulson converted the Sabres first shootout opportunity and Chris Terry answered for the Hurricanes in their second shot. The teams then traded shootout misses. Girgensons finally ended the deadlock with a score on Buffalo's eighth shootout chance.
Michal Neuvirth, G10/13/2014 7:23:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth faced 44 shots during Monday's loss to Anaheim.
Insight: He let up five goals on the flurry of shots he faced. Neuvirth is now 0-3-0 on the season, and is not a recommended option.
Tyler Ennis, LW10/13/2014 7:12:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored Buffalo's lone goal on Monday.
Insight: It was his second goal of the season, and he was one of the only players to play well for Buffalo on Monday afternoon. Ennis should have no problem reaching the 20-goal mark again in 2014-15.
Zemgus Girgensons, C10/9/2014 9:53:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons scored his team's only goal of opening night against the Blue Jackets as Columbus won, 3-1.
Insight: Girgensons had two shots and finished the game with a plus-one rating in over 15 minutes of ice time. He also won 53 percent of his faceoffs.
Tyler Myers, D9/22/2014 6:26:00 PM
Description: It is not out of the question for Tyler Myers to return to the 40-point level for the 2014-2015 season.
Insight: Myers has not reached the 40-point mark again since his rookie season in 2008-2009, the year he won the Calder Trophy as the league's top rookie. Myers, however, played much better under coach Ted Nolan, who took over mid-way through last year. He will also be paired with his good friend, Josh Gorges, on the blue line.
Drew Stafford, RW9/22/2014 6:21:00 PM
Description: Sabres right wing Drew Stafford is trying to repeat his 30-goal season from the 2009-2010 season.
Insight: Stafford told the Buffalo News that the Sabres enter this season with higher expectations despite finishing last year with the fewest points in the NHL. With the right linemates, Stafford could threaten the 30-goal mark again, but with his situation in flex, he is not a player worth spending a high pick on in the draft. We see Stafford in the 15-20 goal range this year.
Chris Stewart, RW9/22/2014 6:16:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Chris Stewart is one of the biggest boom-or-bust fantasy hockey players for the 2014-2015 season.
Insight: Stewart told Buffalo News that he has high expectations for himself this season, and he has the motivation to succeed being in a contract year. Still, Stewart sometimes goes long stretches without a point. It will depend greatly on his situation this year, but he should be one of Buffalo's top six forwards with around 17 goals and 30-35 points.
Cody Hodgson, C9/22/2014 6:09:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Cody Hodgson looks like he will have a lot of upside playing on Buffalo's top line this season.
Insight: The Sabres have a lot of young, and they, hope up-and-coming players, and it is unclear how they will use them all. Hodgson should benefit from Matt Moulson's presence on the power play, but he needs to show more two-way ability to see more playing time overall.
Matt Moulson, LW9/22/2014 5:57:00 PM
Description: In his return to Buffalo, Matt Moulson has a chance to lead the Sabres in scoring this season.
Insight: Moulson played for three different teams last year, so he was likely never comfortable enough with his linemates or locker room situation to return to his 30-goal form. Buffalo hopes he can reach the 30-goal mark this season for the first time since 2010-2011. Our projections have him getting close, leading Buffalo with 27 goals and 55 points.
Tyler Ennis, LW9/22/2014 5:49:00 PM
Description: Tyler Ennis' agent, Eustace King, predicted this past summer that Ennis will peak around 30 goals and 70 points.
Insight: King is not going to come forward and say his client is going to perform badly, so on some level, this doesn't really mean much. We see Ennis more around the 50-55 point range with 20-25 goals. He will play alongside Matt Moulson for an entire season this year, which will help, but we don't see a 10 goal increase from 21 scores a year ago.
Tyler Ennis, LW7/17/2014 3:34:00 PM
Description: The Sabres have signed Tyler Ennis to a multiyear contract extension.
Insight: The 24-year-old had a career-high 21 goals and added 22 assists and 210 SOG over 80 games in 2013-14. The talent is lacking in Buffalo so he likely won't be much better than that in 2014-15.
Matt Moulson, LW7/2/2014 5:48:00 PM
Description: Matt Moulson signed a five-year, $25 million contract with the Sabres Tuesday.
Insight: The Islanders trade of Moulson to the Sabres for Thomas Vanek last season promptly sunk his fantasy value. He had 11 goals and 18 assists in 44 games with Buffalo before being dealt to Minnesota, where he had six goals and seven assists in 20 games. He'll be a 50-point player at best in 2014-15 given the talent level on the Sabres.

Description: Sabres center Zenon Konopka has been suspended 20 games for violating the league's substance abuse policy. SOURCE: NHL.com
Insight: It's not a big loss for fantasy owners as Konopka contributed just three points (one goal, two assists) in 59 games last season. Being a restricted free agent, the 20-game ban could make it harder for Konopka to find work this offseason.

Description: Buffalo defenseman Christian Ehrhoff suffered a concussion Saturday and will miss the season finale Sunday against the Islanders, according to nhl.com.

Zemgus Girgensons, C4/8/2014 10:00:00 PM
Description: Zemgus Girgensons scored both Sabres goals Tuesday in a loss to Detroit.
Insight: It's his first multi-goal game of the season. Buffalo has lost 15 of its last 17 games and holds the worst record in all of hockey (21-49-9).

Christian Ehrhoff, D4/8/2014 4:43:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Christian Ehrhoff (lacerated ear) is expected to play Tuesday, according to nhl.com.

Tyler Myers, D4/3/2014 2:35:00 PM
Description: Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers (upper body) is expected to miss Thursday's game and there is no timetable for his return.
Insight: TheBuffalo defenseman has nine goals and is a solid scorer with 22 points, but a -26 rating puts a damper on his usefulness to fantasy owners. He's likely to sit the remainder of the regular season.
Zenon Konopka, C4/3/2014 2:33:00 PM
Description: Buffalo center Zenon Konopka is questionable for Thursday's game against Nashville due to back spasms. He's missed the past four games.

Description: Buffalo left wing Tyler Ennis had a pair of goals Tuesday against the Devils.
