Donaldson has established himself as one of the top running backs in FCS with
back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. He rushed for 1,417 yards as a sophomore with
18 TDs. Included in that total was a 330-yard, six-touchdown performance
against Indiana State in a 46-41 win. Donaldson followed up his break-through
2006 campaign by pounding out 1,491 yards and 10 TDs, including a 314-yard,
two-touchdown game in a 31-10 win over Missouri State. He had 14 100-yard games
in his career heading into the season and ranked first for the Leathernecks in
yards per carry at 5.9. The broadcasting major is also an honor student. He was
a Payton Award finalist in 2007, finishing 13th in the voting.
