Saint Francis to host six in 2013

Loretto, PA (Sports Network) - The Saint Francis football program will play six home games as part of its 11-game schedule this year.

The Red Flash's season faces a difficult start as they open at FCS national powers Georgia Southern and James Madison on Sept. 7 and 14, respectively.

Saint Francis will play non-conference home games against Lincoln (Pa.) on Sept. 21, Fordham on Sept. 28 and Monmouth on Oct. 12. Within the Northeast Conference, the Red Flash will host Sacred Heart (Oct. 26), defending champion Wagner (Nov. 16) and Robert Morris (Nov. 23).

The Red Flash finished last season with a 5-6 record, including 4-4 in the NEC, under coach Chris Villarrial.
