Clinton, SC (Sports Network) - Presbyterian College offensive coordinator Todd Varn has added the title of associate head coach, Blue Hose football coach Harold Nichols announced Monday.

Varn is in second year back at Presbyterian after previously assisting with the Blue Hose in 2005 and '06. He led the offense to third in the Big South in scoring and total offense, as well second in rushing last season.

"I am very fortunate to have Coach Varn leading our young men and our program," Nichols said. "This promotion reflects his dedication and commitment to Presbyterian College. He is an excellent football coach and administrator, and is a tremendous leader of the young men on the team."

The Blue Hose open their season Sept. 1 at home against Brevard.
