Final Score: UCF 61, Tulane 14

New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Latavius Murray rushed for 146 yards and one touchdown to lead the way for UCF, as the Knights clobbered the Tulane Green Wave, 61-14, in a Conference-USA bout at the Louisiana Superdome.

Ronnie Weaver added 58 yards and one touchdown for UCF (8-3, 6-1), which can clinch the east division title with a win over Memphis in its regular-season finale. Jeff Godfrey, who rushed for two touchdowns, finished with 133 yards and two more scores through the air.

Orleans Darkwa led the way for Tulane (4-7, 2-5) with 129 rushing yards and one touchdown in the loss. Quarterback Kevin Moore rushed for a touchdown, but finished with just 156 yards through the air and was intercepted once.

Quincy McDuffie returned the opening kick off 95 yards for a touchdown to give UCF an early 7-0 lead.

Minutes later McDuffie found the end zone again, this time through the air, as Godfrey connected with the receiver for a 28-yard scoring strike.

Nick Cattoi's 35-yard field goal midway through the opening frame gave the Knights a 17-0 lead.

A 29-yard TD scamper by Weaver and a 46-yard scoring run by Murray gave UCF a school-record 31 first quarter points.

It did not stop there however, as the Knights went up 38-0 early in the second quarter when Godfrey connected with Kamar Aiken for a 60-yard touchdown pass.

Tulane finally got on the scoreboard when Darkwa found the end zone on a three-yard run.

Moore's six-yard touchdown run in the final seconds of the first half sent the Green Wave into the break down 38-14.

The Knights continued to control the matchup as Godfrey's one-yard run extended UCF's lead to 45-14.

Godfrey added another one-yard run less than two minutes in the final frame, and that was followed by a 47-yard kick by Cattoi midway through the quarter, pushing UCF's advantage to 55-14.

Jordan Ozerities returned an interception 100 yards as time expired to give the Knights a dominating 47-point victory.
