NCAA Game Summary - Arkansas State at Middle Tennessee

Murfreesboro, TN (Sports Network) - Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders jumped out to a 24-0 lead and rolled to a 38-14 win over the Arkansas State Red Wolves in a Sun Belt Conference matchup.

Dwight Dasher was 15-of-26 through the air for 263 yards and four touchdowns, as Middle Tennessee (8-3, 6-1 SBC) won its fifth straight. Dasher also ran for 73 yards. D.D. Kyles led the Blue Raiders with 80 rushing yards and also pulled in a touchdown pass.

Ryan Aplin threw for 147 yards and a touchdown for the Red Wolves (2-8, 1-5), who lost their fourth straight game.

Dasher and Kyles hooked up on an 80-yard touchdown pass less than three minutes into the game and the Blue Raiders never looked back. Alan Gendreau added a 39-yard field goal and Dasher hit Chris McClover with a 12-yard pass to give Middle Tennessee a 17-0 lead after one period.

Dasher found Harold Turner with a 32-yard scoring pass with just over six minutes left in the first half to give the Raiders a 24-0 advantage.

Reggie Arnold scored on a two-yard run two minutes later to get Arkansas State on the board.

Dasher extended his team's lead to 31-7 when he found Garrett Andrews with a seven-yard scoring pass midway through the third quarter,

Jeremy Kellem returned a fumble 40 yards for a Middle Tennessee Touchdown just before the quarter ended.

Aplin hit Jahbari McLennan with a 24-yard touchdown pass midway through the fourth quarter to complete the scoring.

The Blue Raiders generated 427 yards in total offense.

Arkansas State struggled in third-down situations, converting just 3-of-15 opportunities.
