Iowa City, IA (Sports Network) - Ricky Stanzi threw for 162 yards and three
touchdowns, as he led the Iowa Hawkeyes to an overwhelming 42-0 victory over
the Florida International Golden Panthers in non-league play at Kinnick
Shonn Greene powered the ground game for Iowa (2-0), rushing for 130 yards and
one touchdown on 13 carries. Jake Christensen also saw time under center for
the Hawkeyes, and completed 8-of-12 passes for 99 yards and one score.
Paul McCall and Wayne Younger both saw time on the field for FIU (0-2),
however neither quarterback was very effective. McCall only threw for 55 yards
in the contest, and also finished the game with two interceptions. As for
Younger, he completed 11-of-20 passes for 107 yards, but was sacked three

A 59-yard touchdown pass from Stanzi to Derrell Johnson-Koulianos, and a 17-
yard touchdown run by Paki O'Meara pushed the Hawkeyes' lead to 21-0 in the

collected 218 total yards.
