NCAA Game Summary - Detroit at Temple

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Khalif Wyatt tallied 20 points and seven assists to lead the Temple Owls to an 83-78 win over the Detroit Titans in a rescheduled non-conference matchup at the Liacouras Center.
Scootie Randall netted 18 points for Temple (20-8), while Rahlir Hollis- Jefferson contributed his third double-double of the season with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Jake O'Brien added 16 points on a perfect 6-of-6 from the field off the bench.
Ray McCallum finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Detroit (19-11) which lost for the second time in its last three games. Jason Calliste had 19 points while Doug Anderson and Nick Minnerath added 17 and 15 points, respectively.
Detroit broke an 8-8 tie early on with a 9-0 run on baskets from four different players. The Titans also made 5-of-8 from behind the arc in the first half while the hometown Owls managed just 3-of-15 from long range. Wyatt was held scoreless in the period on 0-of-6 from the floor as Detroit led at halftime, 39-31.
After struggling from behind the arc in the opening 20 minutes, Temple found the range in the second half. The hosts hit 7-of-13 from outside as Wyatt came alive, netting all 20 of his points in the second period including 12 of the last 14 points for the Owls.
Temple improved to 1-1 all-time against Detroit.
