=== Miller's ankle injury won't keep him from slalom ===

Sestriere, Italy (Sports Network) - American skier Bode Miller's injured ankle
will not keep him from competing in the men's slalom event on Saturday.

Miller's ankle is sore after he twisted it playing basketball, U.S. Skiing
spokesman Tom Kelly said on Wednesday.

"It isn't anything significant," Kelly added.

The slalom will be Miller's last chance to medal at the Torino Olympics.
Expected to challenge for a handful of medals here, Miller has yet to make the
podium in four events so far.

Miller was disqualified for straddling a gate in the slalom portion of the
men's combined, then crashed through a gate during the super-G and did not
finish. He also has a fifth place finish in the downhill and sixth in the giant
 slalom.
