             === Virginia outduels Cal in College World Series ===
 
 Omaha,  NE  (Sports Network) - Virginia  scored two runs in the seventh inning
 to break a scoreless tie en route to a 4-1 victory over California in Sunday's
 afternoon College World Series contest.
 
 Keith  Werman went 2-for-4 with an RBI and John Hicks went 1-for-4 with an RBI
 for  the Cavaliers, which will face the winner of Texas A&M and South Carolina
 on Tuesday.
 
 Tyler Wilson earned the win for Virginia after giving up one run on three hits
 over 2 1/3 innings of relief.
 
 Starter  Danny Hultzen  went 6  1/3  innings, giving  up just  three hits  and
 striking out six without surrendering a run.
 
 Branden Kline took the save for Virginia.
 
 Mitch  Delfino went  2-for-4 and Chad Bunting  knocked in the only run for the
 Bears.
 
 Logan  Scott took the loss for Cal after giving up two runs on three hits over
 three innings.
 
 Starter  Erik  Johnson pitched three shutout  innings, giving up just two hits
 while walking five batters.
 
 With men on second and third in the seventh, Hicks knocked in the first run of
 the  game with a single. Steven Proscia followed with a sacrifice fly to plate
 the eventual game-winning run.
 
 The  Cavaliers  added two  more in  the eighth.  With a  runner on, Jared King
 tripled  to  the right-field corner,  then scored  after Werman roped a single
 down the left-field line.
 
 Bunting knocked in Cal's only run in the ninth, but Kline came in and shut the
