Minsk, Belarus (SportsNetwork.com) - Finland rebounded with a 4-0 win over previously unbeaten Germany at the 2014 World Hockey Championship.
Pekka Rinne made 20 saves for Finland, which bounced back from consecutive defeats to start the tournament. Petri Kontiola had a goal and assist for the victors.
Rob Zepp stopped 25-of-29 shots for Germany, which has five points in Group B play.
Denmark also picked up its first win of the tourney on Tuesday, posting a 4-1 victory over Italy.
Jesper Jensen, Jannik Hansen, Emil Kristiansen, and Kim Staal scored for the Danes, who got 12 saves from Simon Nielsen.
Diego Kostner scored the lone goal for the Italians, who have three points in Group A action. Daniel Bellissimo made 27 saves.
