Boston, MA (Sports Network) - After an absence of more than four playoff contests, defenseman Dennis Seidenberg was back in the lineup for the Boston Bruins for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Saturday.
Seidenberg had been lost with an unspecified lower-body injury since the early stages in Game 7 of the Eastern quarterfinals against Toronto, an eventual 5-4 overtime victory which allowed the Bruins to advance.
The 31-year-old registered one assist in the opening round.
To make room on the roster, the Bruins sat rookie blueliner Dougie Hamilton, who struggled over the last two contests.
