Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms with wide receiver Mike Evans, their first pick in last month's draft.
Evans was selected with the seventh overall choice in May. He has agreed to a four-year deal with a fifth-year option.
The 20-year-old Texas A&M product started all 26 games he played in two seasons with the Aggies and caught 151 passes for 2,499 yards with 17 touchdowns.
Evans led the SEC with 12 TD receptions in 2013, setting a school record with 1,394 receiving yards on 69 catches.
The Buccaneers also announced Thursday that running back Charles Sims, the team's third-round selection, has signed his rookie contract as well.
Considered one of the top pass-catching backs in this year's draft, Sims finished his collegiate career with 203 receptions totaling 2,108 yards and adding 2,370 yards on the ground. The 2013 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year transferred to West Virginia last season after playing three years at the University of Houston.
With both Evans and Sims agreeing to deals, tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins is the only remaining unsigned draft choice on the Tampa Bay roster. The Bucs took the Washington product with the No. 38 overall pick.
