Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars placed cornerback Jeremy Harris on injured reserve and released veteran long snapper Jeremy Cain on Sunday.
Cain, a seven-year veteran, was one of three long snappers on the roster. Rookie Luke Ingram also was released, leaving rookie Carson Tinker as the team's long snapper.
Jacksonville also waived guard Mark Asper, punter Ken Parrish, cornerback Lionel Smith, linebackers Maalik Bomar and Jeremiah Green, defensive ends J.D. Griggs and Paul Hazel, wide receiver Jamal Miles, safety Ray Polk and tackle Roderick Tomlin.
