Description: According to ESPN, the Pacers are "leaning toward" keeping forward Danny Granger instead of pursuing a trade.
Insight: Granger missed most of the season with a knee injury and his replacement, Paul George became the star of the team. When Granger comes back, George (17.4 ppg, 7.6 rpg) will move to shooting guard with Granger resuming his role as the team's starting small forward. Lance Stephenson (72 starts at shooting guard in 2012-13) would be the odd man out of the starting lineup.
Description: According to the Pacers' official Twitter account, re-signing forward David West will be the team's top priority this offseason.
Insight: West struggled in his first year with the Pacers (12.8 ppg, 6.6 rpg) but was much better in 2012-13 (17.1 ppg, 7.7 rpg). West told NBC Sports a few weeks ago that he couldn't see himself playing for another team. All signs point to West returning to Indiana.
Description: The Pacers expect forward Danny Granger (knee) to be 100 percent healthy by training camp, according to Scott Agness of Pacers.com.
Insight: Granger played just five games this season following knee surgery. Paul George emerged as Indiana's top scorer in Granger's absence, so Granger's fantasy value will be reduced if he remains with the Pacers in 2013-14.
Description: Pacers big man Roy Hibbert has been fined $75,000 for comments he made after Saturday's win against the Heat.
Insight: Hibbert swore on live television and also used a gay slur. Hibbert quickly apologized for his remarks and even reached out to Wizards center Jason Collins, who came out as gay a little over a month ago. Hibbert's apology was sincere and it sounds like the All-Star center has learned from his mistake.
Description: Pacers power forward David West missed the morning shootaround due to an upper-respiratory infection, but is expected to be in the lineup for Saturday night's Game 6 against Miami.
Insight: West is averaging 16.3 ppg and 7.3 rpg through 17 playoff games and is an integral part of the Pacers' inside game along with Roy Hibbert.
Description: Indiana backup power forward Tyler Hansbrough rolled his right ankle in the second half of Thursday's game at Miami, but believes he can be ready for Game 6.
Insight: Hansbrough has only reached double digits once in 17 playoff games and is averaging 4.1 ppg and 3.2 rpg, so his fantasy value is minimal.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill has a sprained big toe but he doesn't expect to miss any time, according to Mark Montieth of Pacers.com.
Insight: Hill missed a game in Indiana's series against the Knicks with a concussion but this injury won't cost him any time. The 27-year-old is averaging 14.8 points, 4.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.8 threes per game in 12 postseason games this season, numbers that are almost identical to what he averaged during the regular season.
Description: Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson struggled with his shot on Wednesday (just 2-of-10 from the field) but he made up for it by collecting a game-high 12 rebounds.
Insight: Wednesday was Stephenson's fifth double-digit rebounding game of the playoffs. Unfortunately, the high rebounding totals seem to always come at the expense of Stephenson's offensive outputs. In those five games, Stephenson has only scored in double-digits twice.
Description: Paul George led the Pacers with 27 points on Wednesday but his poor defense on the last play of overtime allowed LeBron James to swoop in for the game-winning layup.
Insight: George told the Indianapolis Star after the game that he slipped on the play that led to the game-winning shot. George is usually an excellent defensive player so we figured that was probably the case. He'll have an opportunity to redeem himself Friday night in Game 2.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill (concussion) has been cleared to play in Game 6 against the Knicks, according to Scott Agness of Pacers.com.
Insight: Hill remained symptom-free while going through the NBA's concussion protocol. He missed Game 5's loss to New York in which Indiana turned the ball over 19 times.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill is questionable for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals Saturday against New York after being diagnosed with a concussion. He didn't play Thursday night in Game 5 against New York.
Insight: Hill will have to pass several levels of concussion tests before he is allowed to play. Hill was sensational in Game 4 (26 points in 37 minutes). D.J. Augustin would again handle the point guard duties in Hill's absence (12 points, zero assists, two turnovers in Game 5), but the offense would more than likely run through Paul George instead.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill has been diagnosed with a concussion. He won't be able to play Thursday night in Game 5 against New York. SOURCE: David Benner, Pacers.com
Insight: This is a huge blow for the Pacers, especially since Hill is coming off a sensational Game 4 performance (26 points in 37 minutes). D.J. Augustin will handle the point guard duties in Hill's absence.
Description: Despite being one of the smaller players on the floor, Indiana guard Lance Stephenson was able to corral 13 rebounds Sunday in a Game 1 victory over New York.
Insight: The 13 rebounds marks a new season-high for Stephenson, who has now collected double-digit rebounds in three straight games. He only did that twice in 78 regular season contests. Stephenson (11 points) was one of six Pacers to score in double figures on Sunday.
Description: Indiana small forward Paul George guided his team back into the win column Wednesday night against Atlanta.
Insight: George (21 points, 10 rebounds, five assists) earned his third double-double of the playoffs Wednesday in Game 5. The Pacers can close out the Hawks Friday night in Atlanta.
Description: Pacers forward Paul George was excellent in the regular season, but has played at a much higher level in the postseason, averaging 21.8 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 4.5 apg.
Insight: He's Indiana's best player right now and probably one of the most versatile talents in the entire NBA.
Description: Pacers forward Paul George led the way with 27 points Wednesday in a win over the Hawks.
Insight: George (11-of-21) had a much better shooting night than he did in Game 1 (3-for-13). He's Indiana's best player right now and probably one of the most versatile talents in the entire NBA. The Pacers will have a chance to take a 3-0 series lead Saturday night in Atlanta.
Description: Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson fell awkwardly and had to leave Wednesday night's game against Atlanta.
Insight: There hasn't been any official diagnosis but it looks like he suffered a back or hip injury. Gerald Green will have to play a bigger role if Stephenson is unable to return to action.
Description: Indiana small forward Paul George has been named the NBA's Most Improved Player for the 2012-13 season.
Insight: He was also in the running for Defensive Player of the Year but that honor went to the Grizzlies' Marc Gasol. George led the Pacers in points (17.4 ppg) and steals (1.8 spg) this season and was selected for his first All-Star Game back in February.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill (hip/groin) aggravated the injury in Sunday's game, but is not expected to miss any playing time.
Insight: Hill played 36 minutes in Game 1 and shot 7-for-10 for 18 points, three rebounds and two assists. He's a solid point guard, but the offense runs through the NBA's Most Improved Player - Paul George, so Hill's upside is limited.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill (hip/groin) aggravated the injury in Sunday's game, but is not expected to miss any playing time, according to an Indianapolis Star report.
Insight: Hill played 36 minutes in Game 1 and should match that throughtout this series. He's a solid point guard, but the offense runs through Paul George, so Hill's upside is limited.
Description: Pacers forward Paul George posted a triple-double Sunday in Game 1 against the Hawks (23 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists).
Insight: Almost all of his points came from the free throw line (17-for-18). With Danny Granger sidelined for the rest of the year, this is George's team now. We're expecting him to have another strong outing Wednesday in Game 2.
Description: Indiana small forward Gerald Green posted a season-high 34 points Wednesday against Philadelphia.
Insight: Green soaked up 40 minutes in the 105-95 loss. He went 6-of-12 from deep and was 14-of-23 from the field overall. As well as Green played on Wednesday, he won't be a difference maker in the postseason.
Description: Scott Agnes from Pacers.com is reporting that small forward Paul George won't be in the lineup Wednesday against the Sixers.
Insight: Frank Vogel is giving all of his starters the night off to rest before the playoffs. George (17.4 ppg, 7.6 rpg) should be in the running for the NBA's Most Improved Player Award.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill (groin) will sit out the final game of the regular season Wednesday night.
Insight: Hill is resting up for the playoffs. He was a solid fantasy guard this season, averaging 14.2 points, 4.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.7 threes per game. All are career highs.
Description: Indiana center Roy Hibbert will miss the regular season finale Wednesday.
Insight: Hibbert struggled offensively in the first half but he averaged 15.7 ppg on 50.8 percent shooting after the All-Star break. He finished the year with 11.9 ppg, 8.3 rpg and 2.6 bpg in 79 games.
Description: Indiana forward David West will sit out the regular season finale Wednesday against Philadelphia.
Insight: West returned to his former All-Star form with averages of 17.1 ppg on 49.8 percent shooting, 7.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.9 blocks this season.
Description: Just a reminder to all fantasy owners that Tuesday's game between the Indiana Pacers and the Boston Celtics has been cancelled.
Insight: The Pacers have four guys who have been productive for fantasy owners: Paul George, David West, George Hill and Roy Hibbert. The Celtics' Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jeff Green have also been solid contributors.
Description: Indiana guard Lance Stephenson had 22 points, four rebounds, two steals and four threes Sunday against the Knicks.
Insight: As a defensive specialist, Stephenson has more value to the Pacers than fantasy owners. He's averaging 8.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 77 games.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill sat out practice on Saturday and it's possible he could take the rest of the regular season off to rest his groin before the playoffs begin next weekend. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: It looks like fantasy owners won't be able to rely on Hill going forward. D.J. Augustin would be Hill's replacement if the team chooses to rest Hill Sunday against the Knicks.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill is probable for Friday's game against Brooklyn while dealing with a groin injury.
Insight: Hill missed practice on Thursday, but that was more precaution than anything else. He's coming off a 27-point effort that also included four assists and four steals.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill dropped 27 points on the Cavaliers Tuesday. He made 9-of-15 from the field and had four assists, two rebounds, four steals, one block and one 3-pointer.
Insight: Hill has been in a deep slump since his last big game, which came when he scored 27 points on March 15. Over his previous 11 games, Hill averaged 10.4 ppg on 36.2 percent shooting.
Description: Indiana forward Paul George went 0-for-8 from the field Saturday against the Wizards and is 3-for-19 from the field and 0-for-10 from 3-point range over his last two games.
Insight: George had just put together three straight games with at least 23 points. He should rediscover his stroke over the final five games.
Description: Indiana center Roy Hibbert knocked down 11-of-17 shots and made 3-of-4 from the foul line for 25 points with 10 rebounds and a block Saturday against the Wizards.
Insight: Hibbert has scored at least 20 points in four straight and five of the last six games. He's averaging 21.5 ppg over his last eight games.
Description: Pacers small forward Danny Granger will undergo season-ending surgery on his left knee. SOURCE: NBA.com
Insight: It's a bit of a shock considering that Granger was expected to play tonight. Indiana's done fine without him this season so fantasy owners shouldn't expect any major changes going forward. Paul George (17.6 ppg, 4.0 apg, 7.8 rpg) is obviously a must-start without Granger at Indiana's disposal.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill will likely be dealing with pain for another week or so after an MRI revealed that he has more of a hip strain than a groin injury.
Insight: Hill made just 1-of-11 for two points in 38 minutes Wednesday after missing Monday's game with the injury. Pacers coach Frank Vogel said the team will watch Hill closely and pull him from games if his hip is bothering him too much.
Description: Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) is expected to play Thursday against Dallas. SOURCE: indystar.com
Insight: Granger won't be much of a fantasy option due to a minutes restriction. If he's slowing the Pacers down, they won't hesitate to sit him, says Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star. He has missed all but five games this season.
Description: Indiana forward David West (back) is expected to play Thursday against the Mavericks, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: West has missed six straight games due to a lower back sprain. Tyler Hansbrough has filled in nicely for West but he won't have fantasy value once West gets back in the lineup.
Description: Indiana guard Lance Stephenson returned from a strained right hip flexor to post 21 points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer Wednesday at Houston.
Insight: Stephenson has similar numbers to Memphis shooting guard Tony Allen. He doesn't score much (8.5 ppg) but he has solid rebounding numbers (4.0 rpg) for a guard and picks up one steal per game.
Description: Indiana power forward Tyler Hansbrough had 16 points, eight rebounds and two steals Wednesday against the Rockets in his sixth straight start.
Insight: Hansbrough is averaging 14.8 points and 10.3 rebounds over the last six games and will continue to have fantasy value until David West (back) can get back in the lineup.
Description: Indiana forward David West will be unavailable for Wednesday's game against Houston. He's still dealing with a sore lower back.
Insight: The Pacers haven't given a timetable for West's return. His absence makes Tyler Hansbrough (14.6 ppg, 10.8 rpg in his last five games) a much more attractive commodity in the fantasy game.
Description: Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) will not return to action Wednesday against the Rockets. SOURCE: Jonathan Feigen, Houston Chronicle
Insight: Granger has been nearing a return to the lineup but he probably won't be much of a fantasy option if Frank Vogel has him on a minutes limit. Granger could only get through five games and 15 mpg during his first return before being shut down due to soreness.
Description: Pacers forward David West is doubtful for Wednesday's game. He didn't practice Tuesday and has missed the last five games with a lower-back injury.
Insight: Tyler Hansbrough has started the last five games in West's place and is averaging 14.6 points and 10.8 rebounds during that time.
Description: Indiana guard Lance Stephenson is probable for Wednesday's game against Houston. Stephenson missed the last gamne with a strained right hip flexor.
Insight: Stephenson sees plenty of minutes at the shooting guard spot, but with just one double-digit scoring game in the last five, he's not going to help you much.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill sat out Monday's game against the Hawks and Tuesday's practice because of a strained left groin, but is expected to try to play on Wednesday versus Houston, according to Scott Agness at nba.com.
Insight: Hill's numbers have slipped in March, averaging just 12.8 ppg in 12 contests, but he's still a viable fantasy option when healthy. If Hill can't run, then the Pacers will go with D.J. Augustin, who proved to be useless to fantasy owners in Monday's game with six points, five assists and six turnovers in 36 minutes.
Description: There is an "outside chance" Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) could play Wednesday against the Rockets, according to indystar.com.
Insight: Granger probably won't be much of a fantasy option if Frank Vogel has him on a minutes limit but it's looking like he could be back to 100 percent around playoff time. Granger returned from a knee injury and played just 15 mpg over five games before being shut down again at the beginning of March.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill is sitting out Monday's game against the Hawks because of a strained groin.
Insight: The shorthanded Pacers will turn to D.J. Augustin at point guard Monday versus Atlanta. Hill's injury has been described as day-to-day and it's possible he'll be back in action Wednesday against Houston.
Description: Indiana guard Lance Stephenson won't be in uniform Monday against the Hawks. Stephenson is out with a strained right hip flexor.
Insight: George Hill is also out, which leaves the Pacers without both of their starting guards. D.J. Augustin will probably fill in at the point with Gerald Green and Orlando Johnson subbing in at the shooting guard position.
Description: Indiana power forward Tyler Hansbrough has been the primary beneficiary from the injury to David West.
Insight: Hansbrough is averaging 17.0 ppg and 12.3 rpg over the last three contests and should continue to be fantasy-relevant for at least the next two games.
Description: Pacers forward David West has been ruled out for Saturday and is doubtful for Monday's game, according to Pacers beat writer Mike Wells.
Insight: That means backup Tyler Hansbrough (17.0 ppg, 12.3 rpg over the last three contests) should be fantasy-relevant for at least the next two games.
Description: Pacers forward David West has already been ruled out for both of Indiana's games this weekend and it seems unlikely that he'll be able to participate in Monday's game against the Hawks. West is still healing from a back injury.
Insight: That means backup Tyler Hansbrough (6.6 ppg, 4.3 rpg) should be fantasy-relevant for at least the next three games. West hasn't played since Saturday's loss at Philadelphia.
Description: Indiana forward David West (back) is expected to miss the next two games, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star
Insight: His replacement, Tyler Hansbrough has averaged 16 points and 12.5 rebounds over the past two games, so the Pacers have no reason to rush West back before he is 100 percent healthy.
Description: Indiana small forward Danny Granger is hoping to return to game action in a limited capacity some time next week. SOURCE: Pacers.com
Insight: Granger probably won't be much of a fantasy option if Frank Vogel has him on a minutes limit but it's looking like he could be back to 100 percent around playoff time. For now, Paul George (17.6 ppg, 7.8 rpg) will continue to soak up minutes at the three for Indiana.
Description: Indiana power forward Tyler Hansbrough dealt with abdomen cramps Tuesday against Orlando but it looks like he'll be able to play Friday against Milwaukee.
Insight: Hansbrough is averaging 11.7 ppg and 5.3 rpg against the Bucks this season. The only teams he's averaged more points against are Phoenix (12.0 ppg) and Orlando (14.0 ppg).
Description: Indiana forward David West (back) didn't play Tuesday against the Magic due to a sprained lower back and is doubtful for Friday's game against Milwaukee. Pacers coach Frank Vogel said that West is having trouble walking and probably couldn't have played even if it was a playoff game.
Insight: His replacement, Tyler Hansbrough has averaged 16 points and 12.5 rebounds over the past two games, so the Pacers have no reason to rush West back before he is 100 percent healthy.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill shook off two bad shooting performances to go 6-for-11 for 14 points with seven rebounds, two assists and two threes Tuesday against the Magic.
Insight: Hill shot 7-of-22 the last two games after scoring 27 points on Friday night versus the Lakers.
Description: Pacers swingman Gerald Green has returned to the team's rotation with 35 points, 14 rebounds and seven threes over the last two games.
Insight: Green only played in two of the previous 11 games prior to Monday at Cleveland. If he can step up as the bench scorer Indiana thought it was getting this offseason, the Pacers will not have to force Danny Granger (knee) back into action if there's any doubt about his knee. However, that's a long shot since Green is shooting 35 percent this season.
Description: Pacers forward Tyler Hansbrough had 14 points, 14 rebounds, one steal, one block and one turnover in 27 minutes Tuesday versus Orlando before leaving with an abdominal cramp.
Insight: Hansbrough could have returned if needed, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star, but Indiana won by 22 points. Hansbrough is averaging 16 points and 12.5 rebounds in the last two games as a spot starter for David West, who is having trouble walking due to a back injury.
Description: Indiana forward David West (back) won't play Tuesday against the Magic due to a sprained lower back. Pacers coach Frank Vogel says that West is having trouble walking and probably couldn't have played Monday or Tuesday if needed. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: West has played well this season (17.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 3.0 apg) and his replacement, Tyler Hansbrough, also played well with 18 points and 11 rebounds against Cleveland Monday.
Description: Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) has been cleared to resume basketball activites. He'll practice this week and then the team will determine if he's ready to play in a game, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: Granger was shut down almost two weeks ago with above-average soreness in his knee after returning for five games. He's no lock to return this season since the Pacers haven't really missed him.
Description: Indiana forward David West, who watched from the sidelines Monday against Cleveland, is doubtful for Tuesday versus Orlando with a lower back sprain.
Insight: West has played well this season (17.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 3.0 apg) and his replacement, Tyler Hansbrough, also played well with 18 points and 11 rebounds against Cleveland.
Description: Pacers power forward David West is questionable for Monday night's game with Cleveland due to a sore lower back which he hurt Sunday versus Philadelphia.
Insight: West is averaging a very fantasy worthy 17.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.0 spg, 1.0 bpg. Tyler Hansbrough would get the start in place of West if he sits, but doesn't have much fantasy value.
Description: Pacers big man Roy Hibbert went off for 25 points and 10 rebounds Saturday in a loss at Philadelphia.
Insight: Indiana has lost three out of its last four games but don't blame Hibbert. Over that stretch, Hibbert has averaged 18.8 ppg and 9.0 rpg. Both of those are well above Hibbert's season averages of 10.8 ppg and 8.1 boards per contest.
Description: Indiana forward Paul George blew up for 18 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists Saturday against Philadelphia.
Insight: It didn't come in a winning effort (the Sixers won 98-91) but fantasy owners probably won't mind. The 14 rebounds are the most George has had in a game since February 8th when he also had 14 boards in a loss against Toronto.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill led all scorers Friday against the Lakers with 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting. He made four threes.
Insight: Hill only attempted 7.8 field goals per game over the first five games of March (season average 11.7), but he has put up 16.5 over the last two games.
Description: Indiana center Roy Hibbert led all scorers with 27 points Wednesday in a win over Minnesota.
Insight: That's a new season-high for the Georgetown product and recurring Parks and Recreation cast member. Not only is Hibbert scoring again (16.8 ppg in his last six games) but he's also swatting away shots like a shot-blocking fiend. He's averaging nearly four blocks per game in his last five contests. Ironically, Hibbert's hot streak started right after he got suspended for fighting Warriors forward David Lee.
Description: Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) will miss the next three games, according to Mike Wells of the Indy Star.
Insight: Granger only made it through five games before experiencing "above average soreness" in his left knee. The forward missed the first three and a half months of the season with left patellar tendinosis.
Description: Pacers power forward David West followed up his 31-point effort Sunday by posting a double-double Wednesday against Boston.
Insight: West finished with 11 points and 16 rebounds in 39 minutes of action. The 16 boards are the most West has had in a game since November 3rd when he collected 18 rebounds in a win over Sacramento.

Description: Pacers forward Danny Granger missed Tuesday's practice due to "above-average soreness" in his left knee. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: Granger has left early in each of the last two games. Even if he can return to action, his knee will prevent him from being an effective fantasy option anytime soon.
Description: Pacers forward Danny Granger left Sunday's game due to soreness in his left knee.
Insight: Granger also left Friday's game, the second game of a back-to-back, so this is certainly concerning. It doesn't seem like fantasy owners are going to be able to count on Granger for anything more than 15-20 minutes per game in the next month.
Description: Pacers forward Danny Granger will not play in the second half Friday after scoring eight points on 3-of-5 shooting in 9:34 in the first half.
Insight: This is part of Indiana's plan for Granger during back-to-backs. He played Thursday and scored 12 points in 19 minutes. He's still on a 19- to 20-minute limit as he returns to form from a knee injury.
Description: Indiana center Ian Mahinmi made his first start of the season Thursday against the Clippers.
Insight: Mahinmi is filling in for Roy Hibbert, who is serving a one-game suspension for fighting Golden State's David Lee. Mahinmi has only reached double-digit points nine times in 57 appearances this season. We don't envision Mahinmi being a fantasy option even in deeper formats.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert has been suspended one game for Tuesday's altercation with David Lee and Stephen Curry of the Warriors. SOURCE: Sam Amick, USA Today
Insight: Hibbert and Lee got into a shoving match under the basket and Curry ran over and tried to restrain Hibbert. However, the 7-foot-2, 280-pound center easily overpowered Curry and shoved him to the ground, escalating things and leading to an ejection for Hibbert. Hibbert will miss Friday's game against the Clippers.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert made 4-of-8 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line for 13 points with nine boards, one steal and five blocks Tuesday versus Golden State. However, he was ejected for two technical fouls and could be suspended after getting into a scrap with David Lee and throwing Stephen Curry to the ground.
Insight: Hibbert has shot 50 percent or better in five straight games but only attempted an average of 7.2 field goals per game in that stretch. With 13 points Tuesday, Hibbert upped his average to 10 ppg for the season. Hibbert said after the game that the altercation was an issue between Lee and himself and that he expects to be banned for one game, according to Pacers.com.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill was one of three Indiana players with 20-plus points Tuesday against the Warriors. He had 23 with seven assists, three rebounds, three steals and three threes.
Insight: Hill dealt with some inconsistency earlier this season but he has scored in double figures in 20 of his last 21 games with averages of 15.4 points, 4.9 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 2.0 threes in that span.
Description: Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger, who only played 18:36 with two points on 1-of-10 shooting in his season debut Saturday, will be on a 15-20 minit limit for another week, according to the team's website.
Insight: After missing the entire season with a knee injury, it is going to take Granger some time to get back in rhythm and build up stamina. Fantasy owners should not start him until he's getting more playing time.
Description: Indiana forward David West led the Pacers with 28 points Tuesday against the Warriors. He added seven rebounds and three steals while shooting 12-of-16 from the field.
Insight: West has made 32-of-52 (.615) from the field and 16-of-18 (.889) from the free-throw line in four games since returning from a scratched eye.
Description: Pacers forward Danny Granger only played 18:36 and had two points on 1-of-10 shooting in his season debut Saturday.

Coach Frank Vogel said Granger will be the first player off the bench and play 15-20 minutes Saturday night. SOURCE: Mike Wells, Indianapolis Star

Description: Indiana Pacers small forward Danny Granger (knee) will make his season debut Saturday night against the Pistons.

Description: Pacers small forward Paul George led all scorers with 27 points Wednesday in a win against the Knicks.
Insight: Indiana went ballistic on Wednesday, opening up a 74-44 lead at halftime. The first time All-Star has averaged 20.8 ppg in his last six contests.
Description: Indiana forward David West (scratched eye) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against New Orleans.
Insight: West (17.2 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.9 apg) sat out last Wednesday's game. A collection of players including Jeff Pendergraph, Ian Mahinmi and Tyler Hansbrough cover West's minutes when he is sidelined but none of whom are fantasy worthy.
Description: Pacers small forward Danny Granger (knee) won't make his season debut Wednesday against the Knicks. He practiced Tuesday but the team is holding him out as a precaution.
Insight: Granger has missed the entire first half of the season while recovering from a knee injury. When he finally comes back, Paul George (17.6 ppg) is expected to move to shooting guard with Lance Stephenson (8.4 ppg) coming off the bench.
Description: Pacers small forward Danny Granger could return Wednesday or anytime over the next week.
Insight: Granger has missed the entire first half of the season while recovering from a knee injury. When he finally comes back, Paul George (17.6 ppg) is expected to move to shooting guard with Lance Stephenson (8.4 ppg) coming off the bench.
Description: Indiana forward David West (eye) is questionable for Wednesday's game against New Orleans.
Insight: West sat out last Wednesday's game. A collection of players including Jeff Pendergraph, Ian Mahinmi and Tyler Hansbrough would cover West's minutes, none of whom are fantasy worthy.
Description: ESPN's Chris Broussard hears that the Pacers are unlikely to deal forward Danny Granger before next week's trade deadline.
Insight: Granger missed the entire first half of the season while recovering from a knee injury. Surprisingly, the Pacers haven't missed a beat without him, finishing the first half with a 32-21 record (third-best in the Eastern Conference). When Granger finally comes back, Paul George (17.6 ppg) is expected to move to shooting guard with Lance Stephenson (8.4 ppg) coming off the bench.
Description: Indiana forward Paul George collected a triple-double -- 23 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists -- with two steals and one three Wednesday against the Bobcats.
Insight: George only made 1-of-10 for five points in 39 minutes Monday but the swingman always finds a way to bounce back for his fantasy owners. When Danny Granger returns, George will likely move to shooting guard, but that shouldn't affect his fantasy value too much.
Description: Indiana forward David West (eye) will sit out Wednesday against the Bobcats. SOURCE: Rick Bonnell, Charlotte Observer
Insight: West is dealing with a scratched eye and only played 25 minutes Monday against Brooklyn. A collection of players including Jeff Pendergraph (14 points, 10 rebounds Monday), Ian Mahinmi and Tyler Hansbrough will attempt to replace West.
Description: Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) was expected to try to make his season debut Wednesday but he has come down with the flu. SOURCE: ESPN
Insight: Granger has been practicing with no issues and his left knee responded well to the most demanding practice he's had since being diagnosed with patellar tendinosis in November. However, even if he was feeling well he may not have played, as coach Frank Vogel said the forward isn't "quite ready." We expect to see him back after the All-Star break.
Description: Indiana forward David West injured his left eye in the first half of Monday's game against Brooklyn and is questionable for Wednesday's game against Houston, according to Pacers' beat reporter Scott Agness.
Insight: West missed the Wednesday morning shootaround and will be a game-time decision. Jeff Pendergraph played great while West was sidelined Monday, posting season highs with 14 points and 10 rebounds in 17 minutes.
Description: Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) has been out all season, could return Wednesday for the game with Charlotte.
Insight: Granger practiced on Tuesday with no problems. If he's still good on Wednesday at the shootaround, he could get in the game. Coach Frank Vogel figures to work him into the lineup slowly, starting off in a bench role and eventually taking over at shooting guard.
Description: Indiana forward David West injured his left eye in the first half of Monday's game against Brooklyn.
Insight: West suffered the injury in the game's opening minute. Tyler Hansbrough (6.4 ppg) and Jeff Pendergraph (1.8 ppg) are likely to split time at power forward if West is unable to return for the second half.
Description: Pacers power forward David West contributed 30 points Friday against the Raptors but he also turned the ball over five times including a bad pass late that led to Amir Johnson's game-tying field goal at the end of regulation.
Insight: West had a brief mental lapse and it probably cost Indiana the game. Fantasy owners can't be too upset, however. West has now gone over 25 points three times in his last five outings. Over that span, he's averaged 23.8 ppg on 57.5 percent shooting. West's 17.4 ppg scoring average this season is a significant improvement from the measly 12.8 ppg he posted in 2011-12.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert scored a team-high 18 points Wednesday against Philadelphia but it took 20 shots (8-20 FG, 2-3 FT). Hibbert also grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked five shots.
Insight: Basically, this is what Hibbert has been doing all season -- shooting poorly while rebounding and blocking shots well. He just happened to take a season-high 20 attempts from the field Wednesday, which explains his high scoring output.
Description: Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) has been out all season, but began practicing last Thursday and could be getting close to a return.
Insight: Barring any setbacks, of course, Granger is hoping to get into a game just before the All-Star break (Feb. 17). It will be interesting to see how coach Frank Vogel works him into the lineup and what his return will mean to Paul George's statistics who is playing very well averaging 17.6 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 3.9 apg.
Description: Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson is averaging 15.2 points and 6.4 rebounds in 35 minutes over his last five games.
Insight: Gerald Green's benching opened up more minutes for Stephenson but he really didn't start taking advantage of them until recently. He had scored nine points or fewer in the seven games prior to Jan. 28. With Danny Granger expected to return this month, Stephenson's usefulness won't last long.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill has been upgraded to probable for Monday's game against Chicago. He's been dealing with a sore left shoulder he injured on Friday.
Insight: Hill suffered the injury on a foul by Dwyane Wade and looked to be in pain. He finished with 12 points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals in 35 minutes.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill is questionable for Monday's game against Chicago with a sore left shoulder injured on Friday.
Insight: Hill suffered the injury on a foul by Dwyane Wade and looked to be in pain. He finished with 12 points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals in 35 minutes. D.J. Augustin would see more playing time if Hill is sidelined.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill went to the locker room with a left shoulder injury during Friday's game but later checked back in.
Insight: Hill suffered the injury on a foul by Dwyane Wade and looked to be in pain but it can't be that serious if he was able to return to te game. He finished with 12 points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals in 35 minutes.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert had a team-high 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting with 11 rebounds with two assists, one steal and one block Wednesday against Detroit.
Insight: Hibbert is having his best month of the season offensively with 11 ppg on 46 percent shooting. Despite his offensive woes this season, his shot-blocking (2.6 per game) makes him a must-own.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill had his first 20-point game since last December on Saturday against the Utah Jazz. Hill finished with 22 points, nine boards, eight dimes, two steals and two threes.
Insight: Hill went into a brief slump after dealing with an illness at the start of this month but he has returned to his expected level of production -- 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.6 threes -- over his past eight games.
Description: Indiana forward David West had at least 20 points in two straight games for just the second time this season. He scored 24 with seven boards, three assists, two steals and three blocks on Saturday against the Jazz.
Insight: West appeared to be wearing down -- he averaged 10.2 ppg with a .314 shooting percentage in six games from Dec. 31 to Jan. 10 -- but he has rebounded to average 18.6 ppg on 50 percent shooting over his last eight.
Description: Pacers swingman Gerald Green is being removed from the team's rotation for the time being. Rookie O.J. Johnson will get more minutes. SOURCE: Mike Wells, Indianapolis Star
Insight: Green's play this season should tell you why he was out of the league for two full seasons. He is shooting just 35 percent from the field and shouldn't be owned in any fantasy leagues.
Description: Pacers guard-forward Paul George was one assist shy of a triple-double in Indiana's 82-81 win over Memphis.
Insight: George threw in 12 points to go along with 10 rebounds, nine assists and a steal with no turnovers. For the season he's averaging 17.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 3.7 apg.
Description: Pacers swingman Gerald Green (food poisoning) is probable for Monday afternoon's game against Memphis.
Insight: Green plays a backup role to Lance Stephenson and his numbers (7.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg) aren't enough to be of value to fantasy owners. In addition, he'll lose playing time when Danny Granger returns in mid-February.
Description: Indiana forward David West scored 20 points (8-18 FG) with 11 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and three blocks Friday against the Rockets.
Insight: West has been hot lately, averaging 18 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.2 blocks over his last five games.
Description: Pacers guard-forward Paul George poured in 31 points on 11-of-19 shooting with six rebounds, three assists, five steals, one block and seven threes Friday versus Houston.
Insight: That's quite an all-around performance for a guy who has been great all season. George is averaging 22.5 points, 10 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 3.2 steals and 3.2 treys over his last six games.
Description: Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) is still hoping to return to the lineup in early February. SOURCE: Mike Wells, Indianapolis Star
Insight: Barring any setbacks, of course. Granger has missed the entire season to this point with a knee injury, allowing Paul George to grow into an offensive threat. We aren't concerned about the ability of George and Granger to coexist in the team's offense since George can play shooting guard.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert had a team-high 18 points on 5-of-11 shooting with seven rebounds, one assist and four blocks Tuesday against the Bobcats.
Insight: Hibbert had only averaged 8.0 points on 39.8 percent shooting in his previous 11 games. If you own the Pacers center, it is strictly for his blocks and rebounds. It doesn't appear like there will be any offensive turnaround this season for him, Tuesday's game aside.
Description: Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson is questionable for Tuesday's game against Charlotte. Coach Frank Vogel told the Indianapolis Star that he has a "really bad toenail." Insert your joke here.
Insight: Stephenson played just six minutes on Sunday against Brooklyn. He's not a fantasy-worthy player yet, but he's improved his scoring in each month this season. In January his averages are up to 8.6 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.3 apg.
Description: Pacers swingman Paul George (flu) has made it to Brooklyn and will start Sunday. SOURCE: Mike Wells, Indianapolis Star
Insight: George wasn't expected to even travel with the team Sunday, much less play in the game. The guard-forward's 16.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.7 blocks and 2.0 threes per game make him one of the best players in fantasy basketball and fantasy owners should rush to get him back in the lineup.
Description: Pacers swingman Paul George (flu) is not expected to travel with the team to Brooklyn for Sunday's game, coach Frank Vogel said after Saturday's game. Vogel said a decision would be made Sunday about George's ability to travel. SOURCE: Indianapolis Star
Insight: George's 16.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.7 blocks and 2.0 threes per game make him one of the best players in fantasy basketball, so a two-game absence is certainly a blow to fantasy owners.
Description: Indiana forward David West had a triple-double with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists Saturday versus Charlotte.
Insight: West came into Saturday's game ice cold with a .297 shooting percentage in January but he made 7-of-15 on Saturday. The 10 assists were a season high.
Description: Pacers point guard D.J. Augustin saw extended minutes as a two-guard Saturday with Paul George out of the lineup. Augustin played 28 minutes and scored 18 points with four threes and four assists.
Insight: Augustin played alongside George Hill with Lance Stephenson getting time at the three. Domonic McGuire started in place of George but only played 6:31. Despite Saturday's effort, Augustin isn't worth owning unless Hill goes down for an extended period of time.
Description: Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson had 17 points on 8-13 shooting with seven rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block Saturday against Charlotte.
Insight: Stephenson has started 29 games this season but is only averaging 8.1 ppg. His point total Saturday was likely related to Paul George's (illness) absence.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill scored 19 points on 7-of-17 shooting (3-7 3PT) with four rebounds, four assists and a steal Saturday against the Bobcats.
Insight: Hill snapped out of a funk that was brought on by a bout of bronchitis. The point guard had averaged 3.0 ppg over his last two games.
Description: Pacers swingman Paul George will miss Saturday's game against Charlotte. He's dealing with the flu. SOURCE: David Benner, Pacers director of media relations
Insight: George's 16.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.7 blocks and 2.0 threes per game make him one of the best players in fantasy basketball, so he'll certainly be missed Saturday. George will try to play Sunday at Brooklyn.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert (back) will play Saturday against Charlotte. SOURCE: Mark Montieth, Pacers.com
Insight: Hibbert left Thursday's game versus New York twice with back spasms but he's feeling better. We're guessing Indiana wouldn't play him Saturday if there was a serious chance of aggravating the injury.
Description: Indiana guard George Hill (illness) only scored six points with four rebounds and four assists against the Knicks on Thursday.
Insight: Hill has been dealing with bronchitis but he played 34 minutes Thursday and should be close to full strength Saturday against Charlotte. Fantasy owners should view the last two games (3.0 ppg, 4.0 ast, 2.5 reb) as a buy-low opportunity.
Description: Pacers center Ian Mahinmi scored 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting with six boards in 20 minutes Thursday versus the Knicks.
Insight: Mahinmi was the only Pacer besides Paul George who scored in double figures. Mahinmi's performance was key in a game Roy Hibbert left twice due to back spasms.
Description: Pacers swingman Paul George stepped up again with 24 points on 10-of-24 shooting, 11 rebounds, five assists, six steals, one block and two threes Thursday in a win over the New York Knicks.
Insight: Only one other Pacers player scored in double figures. George has scored 53 points with 22 rebounds, seven assists, six steals, one block and six threes in the last two games to help Indiana beat Miami and New York, the top two teams in the Eastern Conference.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert left Thursday's game in the first half due to back spasms and while he later returned in the third quarter he appeared to aggravate the injury in the fourth.
Insight: Hibbert blocked Knicks center Tyson Chandler at the rim but went down and immediately began favoring his back.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert left Thursday's game in the first half due to back spasms but later returned in the third quarter. SOURCE: Mike Wells, Indianapolis Star
Insight: Hibbert's scoring is down 3.1 ppg due to a decline in shooting percentage from .497 last season to .401. Hibbert is also shooting worse from the free-throw line and taking 1.5 fewer foul shots per game. The center is still worth owning because he is third in the NBA with 2.7 blocks and 22nd with 8.4 rebounds per game but there's no denying he's been a disappointment.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert left Thursday's game in the first half due to back spasms. He's questionable to return. SOURCE: Pacers.com
Description: Indiana guard George Hill (illness) is in the starting lineup Thursday against the Knicks.
Insight: Hill is dealing with bronchitis and is a risky play Thursday since his minutes are likely to be monitored. He's coming off his worst game of the season (zero points, five turnovers against Miami).
Description: Indiana guard George Hill skipped shootaround on Thursday but he's still expected to play later tonight against the Knicks. Hill has been struggling with bronchitis for the past couple of days.
Insight: Hill is coming off his worst game of the season Tuesday versus Miami (0 points, five turnovers in 23 minutes). He's not going to be 100 percent on Thursday so starting Hill would be a bit of a gamble.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert was unable to build off Saturday's 20-point, 15-rebound, 5-block effort in Tuesday's game against the Heat. He shot 3-of-12 from the field for six points and failed to block a shot but did have 14 rebounds.
Insight: Hibbert has struggled with his shooting all season but made 50 percent or better in his first three games of January. Since Hibbert is providing 2.7 blocks and 8.4 rebounds per game, fantasy owners can afford to hold onto him and hope he reverts to 2011-12 form (.497 FG%).
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill dealt with dehydration during Tuesday's game and was held scoreless in 23 minutes. He missed all four of his field goal attempts and turned the ball over five times in an ugly effort.
Insight: Hill returned from a three-game absence (sore thigh) on Saturday. It's unclear if his dehydration had anything to do with needing to get back into shape after missing a few games or an unrelated illness.
Description: Pacers swingman Paul George knocked down 12-of-27 from the field (4-9 3PT) for 29 points with 11 rebounds to help Indiana defeat Miami on Tuesday.
Insight: George came in having scored 17 points on 8-of-29 shooting (0-6 3PT) in his previous two games but he was due for a couple of down games after averaging 20.7 points on 47.3 percent shooting in the 15 games before that. George's effort on Tuesday should help fantasy owners quickly forget the last two games.
Description: Pacers forward Tyler Hansbrough had a game-high 19 points with four rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench against the Celtics on Friday.
Insight: That should tell you what type of game this was. Hansbrough was one of two Pacers in double figures as the team shot just 31.8 percent from the field. Boston didn't have anyone exceed 18 points because it took a 69-51 lead over the first three quarters and didn't play any of its starters more than 29 minutes and 38 seconds.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill (thigh) won't play after all against the Celtics on Friday, despite reports that he was likely to be active. SOURCE: Indiana Pacers on Twitter
Insight: Hill has been a top-notch fantasy guard this season but his fantasy owners will have to do without him for a third straight game. D.J. Augustin will get another start.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill (thigh) is likely to play Friday against the Celtics. SOURCE: A. Sherrod Blakely, CSNNE.com
Insight: Hill has been a top-notch fantasy guard this season so his fantasy owners will be happy to have him back after a two-game absence. It's safe to plug him in now ahead of the 8 p.m. ET start.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill (thigh) didn't start and won't play for the second straight game Wednesday against the Wizards.
Insight: Hill was a true game-time decision, as the news of his absence didn't come down until several minutes prior to the 7 p.m. ET start. Fantasy owners will hope to have Hill back Friday at Boston or Saturday versus Milwaukee.
Description: The Pacers are still hoping to have forward Danny Granger (knee) back in late January or early February. SOURCE: Indianapolis Star
Insight: Granger is "progressing on schedule," so it's realistic to think we'll see him back in a month or so. Paul George has assumed the scoring lead with Granger out and averaged 18.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.7 steals, 1.0 blocks and 2.1 threes per game in December.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill (thigh) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: Hill is averaging 15.2 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 5.1 apg, 1.0 spg and 1.7 threes but missed Monday's game with a strained right thigh. D.J. Augustin had 17 points and six assists Monday and would start again if Hill is out.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill is probable for Wednesday's game against Washington. He's struggling with a strained right thigh that forced him to miss Monday's game.
Insight: Hill is averaging 15.2 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 5.1 apg, 1.0 spg and 1.7 threes and is a solid fantasy guard. If he can't play, D.J. Augustin will step up to the starting role. He scored 17 with six assists against Memphis on Monday.
Description: With 18 points Saturday against the Hawks, Pacers swingman Paul George has scored in double figures in each of his last 13 games.
Insight: George scored four points on Nov. 30 and followed that up with zero a day later but has averaged 20.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.8 steals, 1.1 blocks and 2.1 threes while shooting .475/.415/.840 his last 13 games.
Description: Indiana forward David West poured in 29 points Saturday in a loss to the Hawks.
Insight: West has been much more productive this season (17.3 ppg) than he was during his first year with the Pacers (12.8 ppg). He's benefited greatly from Danny Granger's absence (knee injury).
Description: Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson scored 10 points with nine boards, five assists and three steals Friday against the Suns.
Insight: Stephenson has scored in double figures in three straight games, the first time he has accomplished that all season despite starting 21 games.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill left Friday's game with a sore thigh after taking a knee there but later returned and finished with a game-high 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting.
Insight: Hill has made 50.6 percent of his field goals over his last seven games while averaging 16.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.1 threes per game in that span. He only shot 39.3 percent his first 22 games.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill left Friday's game with a sore thigh after taking a knee there but later returned to the game.
Insight: Hill has been a fantasy force this season despite some inconsistency, averaging 15 points, 5.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.7 threes with 1.8 turnovers per game. His 50 turnovers are the lowest total among point guards who have played more than 35 mpg.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill left Friday's game with a sore thigh after taking a knee there. SOURCE: Mike Wells, Indianapolis Star
Description: Pacers swingman Gerald Green (ankle) will return to the lineup Friday. Green will only end up missing one game since the Pacers haven't played since last Saturday.
Insight: Green was heating up prior to the injury, scoring 21 points on 7-12 shooting on Dec. 19 and 14 points on 4-6 shooting before exiting with the injury on Dec. 21. Those were his first two double-digit scoring games since Nov. 14, however, and there's no guarantee he'll pick up where he left off. Leave him on the free agent wire.
Description: Pacers swingman Gerald Green will not play Saturday versus New Orleans due to an ankle injury. SOURCE: Mike Wells, Indianapolis Star
Insight: Green left Friday's game after 16 minutes of play and didn't return. He has been heating up with 35 points on 11-of-18 shooting his last two games after failing to crack double-digits since Nov. 14 but can still be ignored in fantasy leagues.
Description: Pacers guard Ben Hansbrough is questionable for Friday's game against Cleveland with a sprained left shoulder.
Insight: If Hansbrough would see more then eight minutes per game, he might have a chance to do something, but as the third string he's not going to see enough playing time to warrant fantasy attention.
Description: After 16 games, the drought is finally over for Pacers swingman Gerald Green. The 26-year-old scored a season-high 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting with four 3-pointers Wednesday, his first double-digit scoring game since Nov. 14.
Insight: Green shot 36 percent and averaged 5.5 ppg during his 16 games of futility. It's going to take more than a couple of these performances to put him back on the fantasy radar.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert's shooting has improved recently, but not by much. The 7-foot-2 center is hitting on 41.2 percent of his shots for 9.8 ppg over his last 12 after making just 37.9 percent for 9.6 ppg his first 14.
Insight: Hibbert made 49.7 percent last season so there's really no explanation for his major dropoff. Fortunately he has blocked 2.8 shots per game, third best in the NBA.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill has followed up his first career triple-double by averaging 18.7 points, 4.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 52.8 percent from the field over his last three games.
Insight: Hill has been a fantasy force this season despite some inconsistency, averaging 15.2 ppg, 5.3 apg, 4.3 rpg and 1.0 spg. He has improved as the year has progressed, scoring 17.3 points with 4.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists on 43.2 percent shooting his last 12 games after hitting just 39 percent from the field for 13.4 ppg his first 14 games.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert is probable for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee. Hibbert injured his thigh Saturday in a game against the Pistons.
Insight: Hibbert's field goal percentage is way down, to 38.9 percent, and he has not been producing up to expectations across the board this season (9.7 ppg vs. 12.8 last season, 8.4 rpg vs. 8.8), but the center position isn't deep and fantasy owners will need to hope he turns it around soon.
Description: Pacers starting SG Lance Stephenson is questionable for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee with a sprained right ankle.
Insight: Stephenson is averaging 7.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.6 apg as a starter which is similar to his production off the bench and at the moment, he's not fantasy worthy in either role.
Description: Pacers coach Frank Vogel is hoping Roy Hibbert will be able to play Tuesday against Milwaukee. Hibbert injured his thigh Saturday in a game against the Pistons.
Insight: Hibbert has been a bust this season (9.7 ppg compared to 12.8 last season) but the talent pool at center isn't especially deep so he's still worth keeping an eye on.
Description: Indiana center Roy Hibbert was limited to just 15 minutes Saturday night after injuring his thigh.
Insight: We're not sure how severe the injury is but it didn't look to be anything too serious. The Pacers don't play again until Tuesday so Hibbert will have a couple days to rest up before the team's next game.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill triple-doubled for the first time in his career Friday with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against the 76ers. Hill made two 3-pointers with two steals and two blocks.
Insight: Hill has been inconsistent from the field this season but he has still provided solid fantasy production. The Pacers PG is averaging 15.8 ppg over his last 12 contests.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert's 19 points Friday was his second-most in any game this season, while his 13 rebounds were a season high.
Insight: Hibbert's shooting has been atrocious this season but he put it together Friday by going 9-of-16 from the field. He's scored in double figures in six of seven games this month. The center has kept his value afloat by blocking 2.9 shots per game.
Description: Pacers swingman Paul George continued his hot streak Friday with 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting with six rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks.
Insight: George is averaging 25 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 blocks over his last six games.
Description: Pacers starting SG Lance Stephenson will miss Friday's game against Philadelphia with a sprained right ankle.
Insight: Stephenson is averaging 7.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.6 apg as a starter which is similar to his production off the bench. At the moment, he's not fantasy worthy.
Description: With Lance Stephenson (ankle) uncertain to play Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers, Pacers forward Gerald Green may get another chance to start. SOURCE: Mike Wells, Indianapolis Star
Insight: Green started the first three games but failed to come close Danny Granger's production. He's been even worse coming off the bench and is only shooting 36.8 percent on the season. Green did average 12.9 ppg on .481 shooting in 31 games for the Nets last season so he could be a fantasy factor if he can get into a rhythm but right now he isn't worth owning.
Description: Pacers swingman Paul George is averaging 24.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals on .511 shooting over his last five games.
Insight: George went just 2-of-18 from the field in the two games prior to his current five-game hot streak. He has certainly rebounded, putting in 22 or more points in four of five of those games with a low of 17.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill has once again slipped into a shooting slump, hitting on just 31 percent of his field goal attempts over his last four games.
Insight: Fortunately Hill has made 2.3 3-pointers per game in that span so he's still managed to average 14 ppg despite the cold spell.
Description: Pacers forward Gerald Green has failed to crack the double-digit mark in points in his last nine games.
Insight: Green failed to duplicate Danny Granger's scoring as Indiana's starting forward and has been even more of a non-factor off the bench. Fantasy owners can cut bait.
Description: After scoring four points total his last two games (including zero Saturday), Indiana forward Paul George made up some ground Tuesday with 34 points (14-of-25 FG) in a win against the Bulls.
Insight: George only made two field goals on 18 attempts over his last two games. The forward also has nine rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks Tuesday, once again stuffing the stat sheet.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill scored 25 points with eight assists, six rebounds, four threes and a steal Friday in a win over Sacramento. Hill shot 9-of-14 from the field.
Insight: Hill suffers with bouts of inconsistency shooting the basketball but he's made 16-of-26 (.615) over the last two games. He's produced zero turnovers in three of the last four games.
Description: Pacers forward David West had his second 30-point outing in his last five games, dropping 31 on 13-of-20 shooting on the Kings Friday night. He added 11 boards, two assists and two blocks.
Insight: West is the only Pacer who has consistently produced this season. He leads the team in ppg (17.4) and field-goal percentage (.483) while blocking 1.3 shots per game. He's now 20 month removed from tearing his ACL and appears to be back in All-Star form.
Description: Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) was off crutches and walking without a limp Monday. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: Granger appeared to have just worked out, according to Agness. He's still not expected back for another couple of months. Roy Hibbert (.379 FG percentage) George Hill (.390), Paul George (.411) and Gerald Green (.391) have failed to pick up the slack in Granger's absence.
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert had an unconventional triple-double Wednesday against the Hornets, scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds with 11 blocks.
Insight: Hibbert's shooting woes returned Wednesday as he shot 3-of-12 from the field after going 8-of-10 two nights prior. While the Pacers big man is only shooting 39.3 percent from the field and 54.5 percent from the foul line, his rebounds and blocks have kept his fantasy value afloat.
Description: Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert came into Monday's game against Washington shooting 37.2 percent from the field this season but he finally got things going, hitting 8-of-10 for 20 points with 12 rebounds and four blocks.
Insight: The Pacers gave Hibbert a big contract in the offseason so perhaps he's been pressing to live up to expectations. The 0-9 Washington Wizards were the perfect medicine for the center's ills.
Description: Pacers forward David West bullied the Washington Wizards Monday for a season-high 30 points on 10-of-14 shooting.
Insight: West added eight rebounds, three assists, four blocks and 10 free throws on 10 attempts. He's scored double-digit points in 12 of 13 games this season as Indiana has attempted to replace Danny Granger's scoring.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill took a season-high 20 shots in Tuesday's loss to Toronto, making eight (0-of-4 3PT) for 18 points. Hill added five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.
Insight: The Pacers are desperate for someone to take the scoring lead with Danny Granger sidelined. Gerald Green hasn't stepped up and Paul George is still raw offensively. Hill might be the best bet.
Description: Pacers forward Gerald Green scored in double figures for just the second time this season with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting Saturday against the Wizards.
Insight: Green has been incapable thus far of duplicating Danny Granger's production. He has been coming off the bench after struggling as a starter but his shot hadn't come around until Saturday.
Description: Lance Stephenson started at shooting guard for the Pacers Saturday against the Wizards and produced 12 points (5-of-7 FG, 2-2 3PT) with four rebounds and two assists.
Insight: The Pacers are searching for the right combination to replace Danny Granger in the starting lineup. Stephenson has produced decent numbers off the bench this season and will be someone to keep an eye on if he continues to start.
Description: Indiana forward Paul George scored a season-high 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting and contributed seven rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes Saturday against the Wizards.
Insight: Danny Granger's knee injury has put the burden on the 22-year-old George to be Indiana's No. 1 scoring option. He isn't yet a pure scorer but he has produced double figures in points in all seven games this season to go along with stellar numbers across the board.
Description: Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger will be out of action for about three months after receiving an injection for left patellar tendinosis by Dr. James Andrews.
Insight: Granger was planning to play through the pain so this is disappointing news for fantasy owners just a week into the season. Paul George and Roy Hibbert should see an increase in productivity as the offense will have to be run through them.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill (hip) has improved after two lackluster games to start the season, a possible sign that his hip is feeling better.
Insight: Hill has scored 16.5 points with 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.5 steals the last two games.
Description: Pacers forward Gerald Green came off the bench Monday after starting the first three games this season. Sam Young started but played just 16 minutes while Green got 26.
Insight: Green scored nine points with eight boards off the bench, his third time in four games he's failed to crack double digits.
Description: Indiana forward Paul George exploded for 16 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks Saturday in an overtime victory over Sacramento.
Insight: George is averaging an incredible 13 boards per contest through his first three games. Danny Granger's knee injury has allowed George to see more playing time and so far, he's taken fulladvantage of the opportunity.
Description: Pacers point guard George Hill is expected to start Friday but admitted he aggravated his hip injury in the season opener, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: Hill has no intention of taking time off even though he said the pain worsened as the game went on. "He can be hit at anytime and be out for the game," coach Frank Vogel said. "There's a concern there. He got hit pretty hard a couple times (against the Raptors) and he was still able to tough it out. I'm not anticipating losing him." Fantasy owners should add D.J. Augustin as an insurance policy.
Description: Pacers starting point guard George Hill, who has been struggling with a hip pointer injury, is probable for Friday's game against Charlotte.
Insight: We're expecting big things from Hill this season, so we would like him to get off to a good start, but the hip injury may hold him back for the first few games. He had eight points and seven assists in the season opener.
Description: Pacers forward David West was impressive in the team's season opener Wednesday, scoring 25 points on 12-of-19 shooting.
Insight: However, he didn't do much else, grabbing just two boards with one assist, one free throw and one steal. The forward only averaged 10.8 shots per game last season. That should rise with Danny Granger on the mend, but it's unrealistic to expect him to average more than 15 ppg this season.
Description: Pacers forward Paul George turned in a balanced effort Wednesday against Toronto. He ended the night with 14 points and a team-high 15 rebounds.
Insight: George also handed out five assists. We're not expecting this kind of performance from George every night but there's definitely some potential here.
Description: Pacers starting point guard George Hill, who has been struggling with a hip pointer injury, is listed as probable for the regular season opener against Toronto.
Insight: We're expecting big things from Hill this season, so we would like him to get off to a good start, but the hip injury may hold him back for the first few games.
Description: Pacers forward Gerald Green will start until Danny Granger (knee) is healthy.
Insight: Green resurrected his career with the Nets last season and signed with Indiana in the offseason. He has a chance to make an early season impact in fantasy as the Pacers' only pure scorer with Granger out indefinitely.
Description: Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger (knee) will be out indefinitely with left knee soreness, the team reported Tuesday. "Granger will get a second opinion and once that is received an update will be provided," the team said via Twitter.
Insight: The Pacers forward injured a tendon in his left knee in the second round of the playoffs last season and aggravated the injury in off-season workouts. Granger was planning to play through the pain so this is disappointing news for fantasy owners.
Description: Pacers starting point guard George Hill, who has been struggling with a hip pointer injury, may not be ready for the regular season opener against Toronto.
Insight: Hill did not practice on Thursday and the Indianapolis Star is reporting that he is doubtful for Friday's preseason game. We're expecting big things from Hill this season, so we would like him to get off to a good start, but the hip injury may hold him back for the first few games.
Description: As expected, Indiana forward Danny Granger (knee) was limited to about 12 minutes in Tuesday's preseason game against Cleveland. He scored nine points and pulled down three rebounds.
Insight: Granger, who hurt the knee while working out this summer, is slowing rounding into form, but fantasy owners should expect a slow start. He's no longer the guy who averaged 25.8 ppg in 2008-09, but we're still projecting him for 17.8 ppg and 5.1 rpg this season.
Description: Indiana forward Danny Granger (knee) will be limited to about 12 minutes in Tuesday's preseason game against Cleveland.
Insight: Granger hurt the knee while working out this summer and has had PRP therapy to help heal. He has played 141 of 148 games over the last two seasons, but his scoring average has fallen in each season. He's no longer the guy who averaged 25.8 ppg in 2008-09, but we're still projecting him for 17.8 ppg and 5.1 rpg this season.
Description: Pacers swingman Gerald Green started and scored 18 points on 50 percent shooting (7-of-14) with three 3-pointers and four rebounds in Saturday's preseason game against the Grizzlies.
Insight: Green resurrected his career with the Nets last season and signed with the Pacers in the offseason. Green will likely be the team's leading bench scorer but his playing time could be limited behind Danny Granger and Paul George.
Description: Pacers starting point guard George Hill has been struggling with a hip pointer injury but still expects to be on the floor for October 31st's regular season opener against Toronto.
Insight: Hill has also been dealing with a sore thumb. If he can stay healthy Hill should play a bigger role in Indiana's offense than he did last season while splitting minutes with Darren Collison (now with the Mavericks).
Description: Pacers G/F Paul George had 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in Tuesday's preseason game against the Hawks. The majority of George's scoring came from the free-throw line, where George went 11-of-11.
Insight: The 6-foot-8 22-year-old could break into the top-25 this season after finishing last year as the No. 40 overall player in standard scoring leagues. George provides owners with modest scoring for a G/F (12.1 ppg) but he more than makes up for it with rebounding (5.6), assists (2.4), steals (1.6), 3-pointers (1.4 makes), blocks (0.6) and free-throw percentage (80.2). He'll be the total package if he can increase his scoring average to the 13-14 range.
Description: Danny Granger (knee) will play in Indiana's final two preseason games next week, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: After only playing in 129 of a possible 164 games from 2008-2010, Granger has played 141 of 148 the last two. However, his scoring average has fallen in each of the past three seasons after he reached a career high 25.8 in 2008-09.
Description: Former Nets and Celtics swingman Gerald Green has signed with the Indiana Pacers.
Insight: The deal is reportedly worth $10 million over three seasons. Green enjoyed surprising success during a 31-game stint with New Jersey last season. After a brief stint in the NBADL, Green exploded in the season's second half and finished the 2011-12 campaign with a career-high 12.9 ppg. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Green's ability to put the ball in the hoop is his only real fantasy asset. He's a lethargic rebounder (3.5 rpg last season) and a poor distributor (1.1 apg in 2011-12).
Description: Free agent point guard D.J. Augustin has found a new home. Augustin and the Pacers agreed to a one-year contract on Thursday.
Insight: Just when it looked like George Hill (9.6 ppg) had it made in the shade after Indiana traded Darren Collison (10.4 ppg, 4.8 apg) to Dallas, now Hill will again have to compete for the starting point guard job. On the opposite end of the spectrum, having Augustin (11.1 ppg, 6.4 apg) in Indiana should boost Kemba Walker's (12.2 ppg, 4.4 apg) fantasy standing next season in Charlotte.
Description: One day after trading point guard Darren Collison to Dallas, the Indiana Pacers have agreed to a one-year deal with D.J. Augustin, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star. George Hill now has some competition in the Pacers' backcourt.
Insight: Hill averaged 13.9 points and 5.3 assists in nine regular season starts and 13.5 points in 11 postseason starts last season and looked to be the clear-cut starter at PG after Collison was dealt, but the addition of Augustin makes things less certain. While we still think Hill will win the job, Augustin will undoubtedly cut into his minutes.
Description: With Darren Collison traded to Dallas, George Hill has no competition for Indiana's starting PG job.
Insight: Hill usurped Collison's spot in the starting lineup late last season and averaged 13.9 points and 5.3 assists in nine regular season starts, and 13.5 points in 11 postseason starts. Expect a career year from the fourth-year point guard.
Description: According to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star, the Indiana Pacers will give restricted free agent center Roy Hibbert the same four-year, $58 million contract Portland offered. Indiana technically won't "match" Portland's offer sheet, but will instead give Hibbert the same terms to avoid going through the restricted free agent process.
Insight: Hibbert put together his best season in 2011-12, averaging 12.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game. Look for more of the same next season as the center continues to improve and get more minutes as part of Indiana's core.
Description: Guard George Hill has signed on to play five more seasons for the Pacers.
Insight: Hill was a pleasant surprise for Indiana in 2011-12. He averaged 9.8 ppg and eventually overtook Darren Collison as the team's starting point guard near the end of the season. Look for him to have an even better season in 2012-13 now that he'll be a full-time starter.
Description: The Trail Blazers have offered Pacers center Roy Hibbert a max four-year $58.4 million contract.
Insight: Hibbert (12.8 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 2 bpg) has already accepted the deal but he's a restricted free agent, which means that Indiana will have a chance to match Portland's offer, so there's a still good chance he'll still remain with the Pacers. Indiana can also offer Hibbert a fifth year, which the Trail Blazers' cannot.
