Description: Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf hit the 20-goal mark for the second consecutive season.
Insight: Getzlaf is a borderline top-30 option in standard leagues these days. However, after coming into the season as the sixth-ranked player, fantasy owners have expected a little more.

Description: Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf was a last-minute scratch on Thursday night.
Insight: He aggravated a lower-body injury in pre-game warmups. Consider Getzlaf day-to-day for now.

Insight: Getzlaf recorded 20 points in 14 games during December and started 2015 on the right foot with a goal against the Blues on Friday. He has 13 goals and 30 assists in 39 games this season.

Description: Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf scored both of the team's goals during Friday's loss to the Senators.
Insight: He had three shots on goal, and now has 12 goals and 37 points through 34 games. Getzlaf is one of the top options out there.

Description: Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf scored on the power play on Friday.

    5/4/2014 9:32:00 AM
Description: Ryan Getzlaf assisted on both Anaheim goals Saturday in an overtime loss to Los Angeles.
Insight: He saw almost 26 minutes of action, the most he's played since March 28th against Edmonton. That's impressive considering the gruesome facial injury Getzlaf suffered in the first round versus Dallas. He now has nine points (three goals, six assists) in six postseason appearances in 2014.

Insight: Dallas won Game 4 to tie the series 2-2 and Anaheim certainly needs Getzlaf back. The 28-year-old center had 87 points this season, second-most in the NHL. We're now leaning toward expecting him to be on the line with Corey Perry and Nick Bonino tonight.

    4/24/2014 5:30:00 PM
Description: Anaheim center Ryan Getzlaf (upper body) missed Game 4 of the Western Conference quarterfinals against the Stars on Wednesday and is questionable for Game 5.

Insight: If you have a weak stomach you're not going to want to see the replay. Getzlaf's a hockey player though so he'll brush it off. He had two points in Anaheim's win on Wednesday night (one goal, one assist).

    4/13/2014 8:42:00 PM
Description: The Ducks made Ryan Getzlaf a healthy scratch Sunday as they prepare for the playoffs.
Insight: Getzlaf will finish second in the NHL to Sidney Crosby with 87 points, a career high. He also scored a career-high 31 goals this season.

    2/8/2014 10:35:00 PM
Description: Anaheim center Ryan Getzlaf passed John Tavares for second on the NHL points list with three points Saturday night.
Insight: Tavares scored a goal against the Avalanche to get to 66, but Getzlaf had two goals and one assist against the Predators. The Ducks center has a career-high 29 goals to go with 67 points in 56 games.

    1/12/2014 7:49:00 PM
