Description: Robin Regehr and the Kings have agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension. SOURCE: Lisa Dillman, L.A. Times
Insight: The deal is worth $3 million annually. The Sabres traded Regehr to Los Angeles just before the trade deadline in April. He only produced four points in 41 games this season.

    4/1/2013 10:12:00 PM
Description: The Sabres dealt blueliner Robin Regehr to the Kings on Monday.
Insight: The veteran hasn't been much help to fantasy owners this season. In 29 games, Regehr has produced just two points while collecting a -4 rating.

    6/25/2011 2:16:00 PM
Description: The Calgary Flames have officially completed the trade that will send Robyn Regehr, Ales Kotalik, and a second-round pick in 2012 to the Buffalo Sabres for Chris Butler and Paul Byron. TSN
Insight: Regehr should add a veteran presence to the Sabres' blueline, as he could be paired with Tyler Myers since the two have opposite shots. The decision to trade Regehr and Kotalik was a cost-cutting move for the Flames, who were then able to re-sign Alex Tanguay long-term.

    6/25/2011 1:01:00 AM
Description: According to TSN, Robyn Regehr has agreed to waive his no-trade clause and will accept a trade to the Buffalo Sabres. TSN
Insight: The deal has not yet been finalized, but it is believed that Ales Kotalik will also go to Buffalo. Regehr had been hesitant to waive his no-trade clause because he wanted to stay with the team that he has played his entire career with.

    6/23/2011 2:45:00 PM
Description: According to Darren Dreger of TSN, Robyn Regehr has been asked to waive his no-trade clause to accept a trade to the Buffalo Sabres. TSN
Insight: No details were given on the entire proposed deal, nor if Regehr had agreed to waive his NTC. Friday's NHL Entry Draft could be a busy one as far as wheeling and dealing go.

    9/9/2010 7:05:00 PM
Description: Regehr uncertain of his future with the Calgary Flames.
Insight: The veteran defenseman has been the subject of trade rumors for most of the offseason, but has been clear about his desire to remain with the Flames. (RapidDraft.com)
