    Boston Bruins

    Position

    Jersey
    40
    Name  Tuukka Rask
    Born  3/10/1987
    Height  6-2
    Weight  185
    Shoots  L
    2/28/2015 8:07:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask allowed just one goal in the, 4-1, victory over the Coyotes on Saturday.
Insight: Rask made 31 saves in the victory. He is 25-16-9 and came into Saturday with a 2.37 GAA and .919 save percentage.

    2/24/2015 9:52:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask turned in a decent fantasy night, stopping 26-of-28 shots, but Boston lost, 2-1.
Insight: With the loss, Rask fell to 24-16-9. With such a struggling Bruins team, Rask is not earning as many victories as fantasy owners were expecting at the beginning of the season.

    2/10/2015 9:46:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask replaced Niklas Svedberg after the first period on Tuesday night.
Insight: Svedberg allowed three goals and 10 shots, before gtting the hook. Rask filled in nicely, and stopped 20-of-21 shots on goal. He should be in net next time out.

    2/8/2015 10:29:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask picked up just his third regulation loss since Jan. 7 on Sunday.
Insight: Rask has posted great numbers of late going 7-1-3 with a .949 save percentage and 1.61 GAA in January. Rask and the Bruins, however, haven't been able to figure out the Canadiens as Montreal beat Boston again, 3-1. Montreal swept the season series with Boston.

    2/8/2015 6:31:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask will start on Sunday versus the Canadiens.
Insight: Rask led Boston to victory over the Islanders on Saturday, so some thought Rask might take the night off, but he will not. Rask and Montreal goaltender Carey Price have been the best two fantasy hockey goaltenders since the start of 2015, so don't expect many goals.

    1/31/2015 9:40:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask allowed just one goal during Saturday's win versus Los Angeles.
Insight: He faced 31 shots on goal, and raised his record to 22-11-7 on the season.

    1/29/2015 9:36:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask had a great fantasy night on Thursday.
Insight: Rask made 43 saves to lead the Bruins to a, 5-2, victory over the Islanders. The victory improves Rask's record to 21-11-7 this season.

    1/22/2015 10:21:00 AM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask made 34 saves in a loss on Wednesday.
Insight: Despite posting a .944 save percentage in regulation and overtime, Rask could not come up with the big saves in the shootout versus Colorado. Rask is 20-11-7 this season.

    1/21/2015 8:59:00 AM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask allowed just one goal in the, 3-1, victory over the Stars on Tuesday.
Insight: Rask made 36 saves in the victory. He is 20-11-6 with a 2.37 GAA and .918 save percentage this season.

    1/15/2015 9:50:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask shutout the red hot New York Rangers on Thursday.
Insight: Ok, so the Rangers aren't exactly red hot. They have been shutout for six straight periods now, but the Rangers had won 13 of 14 prior to the two straight shutouts. Rask stopped 30 shots on his way to his second shutout of the season.

    1/10/2015 3:38:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask picked up a win Saturday against Philadelphia.
Insight: He made 24 saves on 25 shots. Rask is now 17-10-6 on the season.

    1/4/2015 4:01:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask took a tough loss Saturday versus Carolina.
Insight: He stopped 35-of-36 shots on goal, but ultimately fell in a shootout. Rask is now 15-10-6 on the season.

    1/3/2015 3:56:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask allowed three goals during Saturday's overtime loss to Ottawa.
Insight: He faced 26 shots on goal, and dropped to 15-10-4 on the season. Owners are still waiting for him to break loose.

    12/29/2014 9:49:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask stopped 28 shots to win his 15th game of the season on Monday.
Insight: Rask allowed two goals to post a .933 save percentage, but Boston's offense scored five times. Rask is 15-10-3 this season.

    12/27/2014 9:52:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask replaced a rattled Niklas Svedberg on Saturday and did no better.
Insight: Svedberg started and allowed three goals on 15 shots in 26:32 minutes of ice time. Rask also allowed three goals on 15 shots to post the exact same .800 save percentage. With about one-third of the season over, owners with Rask are starting to get a little anxious that Rask hasn't stepped up his game yet.

    12/19/2014 10:36:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask took the loss Friday against the Jets.
Insight: He allowed two goals on 27 shots, and has now lost six of his past seven games. Rask needs to step it up, as he is now 12-10-3 overall.

    12/16/2014 10:53:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask took a tough loss in a shootout Tuesday against Nashville.
Insight: He made 38 saves on 40 shots, but it was noit enough. Rask is now 12-9-3 on the season.

    12/11/2014 9:54:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask took the loss Thursday versus Chicago.
Insight: He made 18 saves on 21 shots, and has now lost 5 of his past seven games. We have little doubt Rask will come into form, but he has a very pedestrian record right now at 12-9-1.

    12/6/2014 10:54:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask did enough to earn the victory Saturday against Arizona.
Insight: He made 24 saves on 26 shots, and raised his record to 12-8-1. Owners are hoping he can piece together a winning streak.

    11/28/2014 9:55:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask stopped all but one shot versus the Jets on Friday.
Insight: Rask kicked aside 35-of-36 shots as the Bruins won in overtime, 2-1. After a slow start, Rask is 3-1-1 with a 1.40 GAA and .956 save percentage in his last five games.
