Description: Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon saw 13 targets and finished with 143 yards and a touchdown on eight catches Sunday at Green Bay.

Description: According to beat writer Zac Boyer, Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon has been the team's most reliable receiver in training camp and has erased concerns about the torn tendon in his foot that he suffered last season and the offseason surgery he had to repair a torn labrum.
Insight: Garcon led the Redskins with 633 yards receiving in just 10 games last season and could have a big year as Robert Griffin III's No. 1 target. Garcon is currently going in the late-fifth round in mock drafts.

7/26/2013 7:34:00 PM
Description: Washington receiver Pierre Garcon told ESPN that he thinks the Redskins have a chance to be "the best offense ever."
Insight: Keep dreaming, Pierre. That's not going to happen. The Redskins are good but not 2007 New England Patriots or 1999 St. Louis Rams good. The fact is, the 'Skins have an awesome running back (Alfred Morris) and a rising star at QB in Robert Griffin III but Santana Moss is the only member of Washington's receiving corps who has logged a 1,000-yard season. As it stands now, there are many offenses in the league that are better than the Redskins, though you have to admire Garcon's optimism.

Description: Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon said he has no shoulder problems after minor offseason surgery, but is still dealing with his foot problems which limited him for much of 2012-13.
Insight: It has to be a major concern for fantasy owners that Garcon still hasn't completely recovered from the "plantar plate tear" in his right foot which ruined his fantasy season.

5/25/2013 4:11:00 PM
Description: According to Rich Campbell of the Washington Times, Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon had minor shoulder surgery in the offseason.
Insight: That would explain why Garcon wasn't available for OTAs this week. He should be fine for the start of training camp in late July.

Description: Washington wideout Pierre Garcon (foot) is active Thursday against Dallas.
Insight: We suggest keeping Garcon on your bench, especially in a matchup with one of the top passing defenses in the league. He's still not 100 percent and won't be for the rest of the season.
