    New York Jets

    Position
    WR

    Jersey
    87
    Name  Eric Decker
    Born  3/15/1987
    Height  6-3
    Weight  218
    College  Minnesota
    12/28/2014 6:35:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker had his best day as a New York Jet on Sunday.
Insight: Decker exploded for 10 catches and 221 yards with a touchdown in the final week of the season. Decker's touchdown was a 74-yard touchdown catch that came in the third quarter. Perhaps it is something to build upon for next season.

    12/21/2014 6:24:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker was disappointing during Week 16's loss to the Patriots.
Insight: After totaling 189 yards over his previous two games, Decker had only two catches for 21 yards on Sunday. He has not had the effect the Jets thought he would have in 2014.

    12/15/2014 10:55:00 AM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker had a solid game in Week 15 catching seven of 11 targets for 100 yards.
Insight: Decker's day could have been much better, but he stepped out on what first appeared to be an 81-yard touchdown catch and run. He settled for a 48-yard reception and earned his first 100-yard bonus of the season.

    12/7/2014 6:20:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker had a solid game in Week 14.
Insight: Decker caught six balls for 89 yards on eight targets. He is no more than a WR3, and is really more of a WR4.

    Cold12/2/2014 9:40:00 AM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker caught two of four targets for just 18 yards.
Insight: Decker was targeted three times on the opening series and dropped two of them. After that he was a non-factor as the Jets only threw 10 more passes the entire evening. If the Jets are going to continue a 75/25 mix of runs to passes Decker can't be started.

    11/24/2014 10:03:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker had four catches for 63 yards on Monday.
Insight: Decker is a victim of poor quarterback play, is really a WR3, at best.

    11/20/2014 12:09:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker told the New York Post he's finally 100 percent over his hamstring injury.
Insight: Great news, but heading to what should be less-than-ideal (read bad) weather conditions we will still worry about Decker.

    11/9/2014 7:12:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker had just 24 yards in Week 10.
Insight: Decker had three catches on four targets, but with the Jets only throwing 18 total times, the opportunities were not there on Sunday.

    11/2/2014 6:39:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker had nine catches for 63 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs.
Insight: Decker is a hit-or-miss receiver this season with the situation under center for New York. Decker is still the best receiving option even with Percy Harvin now on the roster, but fantasy owners have to rely on Decker finding the end zone in order for him to make a fantasy impact because he is not getting enough yards.

    10/26/2014 5:39:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker hauled in seven passes during Sundays's loss to Buffalo.
Insight: He had only 40 yards however, but did manage 11 targets. There is no denying Decker's talent, but with him being on such a lousy team, he should be considered a WR3.

    10/26/2014 12:15:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker (hamstring) is active against the Bills.
Insight: Decker seems to be fine after dealing with the hamstring ailment for a few weeks. Start him as you normally would.

    10/17/2014 9:29:00 AM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker saw a team-high seven targets en route to his four-catch, 65-yard game.
Insight: Decker had Darrelle Revis on him for much of the night which is why he wasn't a great play.

    10/12/2014 6:08:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker scored a touchdown against his former team.
Insight: He had six receptions for 54 yards, on 10 targets. If Decker can stay healthy, he will be a WR3, as a result of the Jets' poor quarterback play.

    10/12/2014 12:12:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker is active for Week 6 against his old teammates the Broncos.
Insight: After sitting out Week 5, Decker has been targeting this game and will be on the field. Whether he can play the entire 60 minutes is another question as is whether he can be effective versus a top-10 passing defense.

    10/8/2014 2:56:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker returned to practice on Wednesday.
Insight: It was a limited session, but is still a positive sign. After sitting out Week 5, Decker is now on pace to start Week 6 against Denver.

    10/5/2014 3:19:00 PM
Description: After missing the last two practices this week, Jets receiver Eric Decker will sit out Week 5.
Insight: As a late afternoon start it was a gamble to play him because of the lack of options should this situation come up. It did, and hopefully you have another plan for the wideout spot.

    10/3/2014 3:52:00 PM
Description: After missing the last two practices, Jets receiver Eric Decker, can only be considered questionable, at best, for Sunday in San Diego.
Insight: Even if Decker plays at this point, fantasy owners have to question whether he can last 60 minutes. He's a late afternoon start which leaves little options so start him at your own risk.

    9/28/2014 10:40:00 AM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker will play in three-receiver packages and third downs, according to Rich Cimini.
Insight: Decker is fully expected to be active for Week 4, but if true this puts a limit on his upside if he's not an every down player. Start him at your own risk.

    9/26/2014 8:32:00 PM
Description: Jets coach Rex Ryan admitted that receiver Eric Decker will "probably be limited bit" in Sunday's game against the Lions due to a hamstring injury according to ESPN New York.
Insight: Decker was active last week but only played 12 snaps. At this point, fantasy owners would like Decker to not play at all rather than reaagravate the injury and miss more time. Do not start Decker this week.

    9/25/2014 1:42:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker returned to practice on Thursday according to ESPN New York.
Insight: This is a good sign, but Decker will likely still be a game-time decision for Week 4. With again the chance of reaggravation, fantasy owners wouldn't mind seeing Decker sit out this week to recover for Week 5.
