    Tennesse Titans

    Position
    QB

    Jersey
    14
    Name  Ryan Fitzpatrick
    Born  11/24/1982
    Height  6-2
    Weight  223
    College  Harvard
    12/16/2014 6:21:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been placed on injured reserve with a broken leg.
Insight: Tom Savage is also sidelined, leaving Houston to turn to either Case Keenum or Thad Lewis.

    12/14/2014 2:03:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had been carted off the field and is not expected to return (left leg).
Insight: It's never a good sign when an air cast is involved. Young Tom Savage will take over controls of the offense. Expect to see even more of Arian Foster.

    12/7/2014 7:10:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick could not follow up on his six-touchdown performance.
Insight: He threw for only 135 yards and zero touchdowns, but did rush for a touchdown. Fitzpatrick is no more than a QB2.

    11/30/2014 5:43:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw a career-high six touchdown passes against the Titans on Sunday.
Insight: Fitzpatrick really aired it out in his return to the starting role in Houston. He completed 24-of-33 passes for 358 yards. Too bad Fitzpatrick doesn't play the Titans again this season, but he does have two more matchups with Jacksonville.

    11/25/2014 1:57:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, benched in favor of Ryan Mallett, should re-assume the starting role after Mallett's season-ending injury.
Insight: Fitzpatrick wasn't playing terribly, but was not impressive either. Rookie Tom Savage would only get a look if an injury or the Texans are eliminated from playoff contention.

    11/5/2014 12:59:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been benched in favor of Ryan Mallett.
Insight: Fitzpatrick wasn't playing terribly, but was not impressive either. He had 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions, through nine games.

    11/2/2014 6:03:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for two touchdowns and an interception against the Eagles.
Insight: Fitzpatrick was 13-for-27 with 203 yards, but sacks continued to plague the Texans offense. Fitzpatrick took four sacks and without Arian Foster for most of the second half, Houston could not muster enough offense to stick with the Eagles.

    10/26/2014 5:59:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had a decent afternoon against Tennessee.
Insight: He threw for 227 yards and a score, but should be considered a QB2 the rest of the season.

    10/21/2014 10:57:00 AM
Description: If you were forced to use Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick Monday night, he didn't hurt you with a solid 262-yard, two touchdown, one interception effort versus Pittsburgh.
Insight: Fitzpatrick isn't a trustworthy fantasy option, but has played better over the past few games as teams have keyed on Arian Foster.

    10/13/2014 5:52:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick went 15-of-23 for 212 yards and a touchdown against the Colts on Thursday night.
Insight: Fitzpatrick did not throw an interception but was sacked five times as Houston really struggled to move the ball in the first quarter. The Texans made the contest a game, but ultimately, fell short.

    10/9/2014 7:30:00 PM
Description: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is active for Thursday night against the Colts.
Insight: He likely isn't going to be in many lineups but if you have him, he is playing.

    9/28/2014 5:01:00 PM
Description: Houston QB Ryan Fitzpatrick throws for one touchdown in win.
Insight: He was not great for fantasy owners today, going 25-for-37 for 268 yards and two interceptions. He did however lead the Texans in rushing yards, with 14.

    6/17/2014 2:30:00 PM
Description: Houston QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was named the starter by coach Bill O'Brien.
Insight: Considering O'Brien's other options, this isn't much of an announcement. It's also the reason star wideout Andre Johnson isn't happy. We're expecting a huge workload for running back Arian Foster.

    3/20/2014 6:45:00 PM
Description: Ryan Fitzpatrick has agreed to a two-year deal with Houston. SOURCE: Ian Rapoport, NFL.com
Insight: Fitzpatrick is likely to backup whatever rookie quarterback the Texans end up selecting on draft day. The former Titan delivered 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions last season.

    3/14/2014 8:25:00 PM
Description: The Titans have released Ryan Fitzpatrick after one season.
Insight: The Titans needed Fitzpatrick to play 11 games last season behind brittle starter Jake Locker, and he completed 62 percent of his passes for 2,454 yards, 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Tennessee will go with Charlie Whitehurst, who is familiar with new Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt's offensive system after playing in it as a backup for the Chargers last season.

    3/12/2013 4:46:00 PM
Description: The Bills have released quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Insight: Buffalo will take a $10 million cap hit by cutting Fitzpatrick, but by using a post-June 1 designation they will be able to spread it over two years. Fitzpatrick got a huge contract extension from Buffalo after a hot start in 2011 but the Bills no longer had faith in him as a No. 1 QB. Look for the Bills to address their quarterback issues in the draft or free agency.

    12/25/2012 9:43:00 AM
Description: Coach Chan Gailey said that Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick would play in the season finale.
Insight: The Bills could have looked at Tyler Thigpen or Tarvaris Jackson, but they obviously think their best chance to win the game is with Fitzpatrick. The news keeps Stevie Johnson as a No. 1 fantasy option.

    12/9/2012 5:31:00 PM
Description: Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 247 yards with a 75.8 completion percentage but only had one touchdown Sunday against the Rams.
Insight: Fitzpatrick's one turnover came with less than a minute left in the fourth quarter. He's had one touchdown or less in six of his last nine games.

    11/25/2012 5:05:00 PM
Description: Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has only thrown six touchdown passes over his last seven games after tossing 12 in the first four.
Insight: Fitzpatrick only had 180 yards with one score and one pick Sunday against the Colts, the fourth time in the last eight games he's finished with less than 200 yards passing.

    11/11/2012 7:04:00 PM
Description: Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 337 yards Sunday against the Patriots, his first 300-yard game since Week 4, the last time Buffalo played New England.
Insight: Fitzpatrick tossed two touchdowns with one pick in the game. Buffalo's signal caller has 17 touchdowns and 10 picks in nine games. He's been an all-or-nothing player this season, posting six multi-touchdown games and three games with zero scores.
