    2/8/2015 10:18:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson came off the bench and scored just eight points on Sunday versus the Pacers.
Insight: Stephenson was just 2-of-7 from the field with four assists, two rebounds and a steal. Stephenson has lost his starting role and likely his fantasy role for most owners. He is shooting just 37. 3 percent from the field and 58.6 from the line this season.

    2/6/2015 4:20:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson (left knee) is questionable for Saturday's game against Philadelphia.
Insight: Stephenson has been a big disappointment this season averaging 9.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 4.9 apg. Gary Neal, Gerald Henderson and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist would all benefit from more minutes if Stephenson can't go.

    1/14/2015 5:53:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson (hip) will play on Wednesday. UPDATE: He will play, but he is expected to be limited to 15 minutes.
Insight: He has been out since Dec. 17, so look for him to be eased back in. Stephenson is averaging 10.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, and 4.8 apg this season.

    1/13/2015 1:48:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson has practiced, with contact, for two days and should be ready for action Wednesday against San Antonio
Insight: Stephenson has missed the last 14 games due to a pelvic sprain. He wasn't playing very well to start the season (10.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 4.8 apg), but his return will certainly cost Gerald Henderson and Gary Neal playing time.

    1/6/2015 3:24:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson will not play Wednesday versus New Orleans.
Insight: Stephenson has missed the last 11 games due to his injury and the team has not offered a timetable for his return. Stephenson is no longer a must-own player in shallow leagues.

    12/27/2014 5:41:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson will not play on Saturday or Monday due to his hip injury.
Insight: Stephenson has missed the last five games due to his injury, and Charlotte has gone 4-1, so the team probably won't rush him back. Stephenson is no longer a must-own player in shallow leagues.

    12/27/2014 10:26:00 AM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson is out Saturday with a sprained pelvis.
Insight: There is a chance he could play next week. Gerald Henderson should continue see more playing time, but even as a starter is averaging just 9.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 2.3 apg). Stephenson (10.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 4.8 apg) has also been the subject of trade rumors.

    12/25/2014 10:18:00 AM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson is out indefinitely with a sprained pelvis.
Insight: Gerald Henderson should continue see more playing time. Stephenson (10.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 4.8 apg) has also been the subject of trade rumors, including one that would send him back to Indiana, as he hasn't fit in very well with his teammates or this offense.

    12/18/2014 1:59:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson is expected to miss the next two games with a sprained pelvis.
Insight: Gerald Henderson should see more playing time. Stephenson has also been the subject of trade rumors including one that would send him back to Indiana.

    12/3/2014 9:25:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson had perhaps his best game of the season on Wednesday.
Insight: Stephenson scored a season-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Coach Steve Clifford may be gaining more confidence in Stephenson as he played 40 minutes on Wednesday, the most he had played in a game in nearly a month.

    11/7/2014 10:18:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson hit a bank 3-point shot to win at the buzzer in double overtime against the Hawks. Charlotte won, 122-119.
Insight: It was the only 3-pointer for Stephenson on the night. He scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

    10/30/2014 4:30:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson put up an interesting line in his debut for Charlotte Wednesday.
Insight: Stephenson didn't shoot very weel (3-of-12), but did pull down 13 rebounds and dished out eight assists in an overtime win. He's dealing with a groin issue, but it shouldn't keep him from playing.

    10/29/2014 4:11:00 PM
Description: Hornets shooting guard Lance Stephenson will play in the season opener against the Bucks.
Insight: Stephenson has been dealing with a couple injuries throughout preseason, but he is ready to go on Wednesday. It will likely going to take some time for him to adjust to a new system, but Stephenson has the chance to be a real star.

    10/27/2014 5:40:00 PM
Description: Hornets SG Lance Stephenson is an intriguing player heading into the season.
Insight: Entering his first season with Charlotte, Stephenson should be able to at least duplicate his numbers from last season (13.8 ppg, 7.2 rpg, and 0.7 spg). As a result, he will provide both the Hornets and fantasy owners with a solid all-around season.

    10/24/2014 1:33:00 PM
Description: Hornets SG Lance Stephenson is dealing with a groin injury that is slowing his preseason, but he's probable for the opener.
Insight: Stephenson broke out for the Pacers in 2013-14, averaging 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game though he' sometimes out of control. It will be interesting to see how he, PG Kemba Walker and SF Gerald Henderson get along.

    7/16/2014 3:46:00 PM
Description: The Hornets have signed Lance Stephenson to a three-year, $27 million contract.
Insight: The third year is a team option. Stephenson broke out for the Pacers in 2013-14, averaging 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game, though he played out of control at times and rubbed some people the wrong way with his on-court antics. He'll replace Gerald Henderson (14 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.6 apg) in the starting lineup.

    5/29/2014 8:41:00 PM
Description: Pacers guard Lance Stephenson has been fined $10,000 for flopping in Wednesday's win over Miami. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: It's his second violation of the playoffs. Stephenson (13.8 ppg this postseason) is well-known for his quirks but even for him his behavior in Game 5 was pretty bizarre. Stephenson's high jinks included wandering into Miami's huddle and blowing into LeBron's ear. We'll see what kind of antics Stephenson has in store for Game 6 on Friday night.

    5/25/2014 9:22:00 AM
Description: Lance Stephenson turned in a valiant effort Saturday in Indiana's 12-point loss to Miami.
Insight: Stephenson pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds while also chipping in with ten points, five assists and three steals. He's been on the court for 90 of a possible 96 minutes over the last two contests. Among guards, only Tony Allen and Russell Westbrook have averaged more rebounds than Stephenson (7.3 rpg) this postseason.

    5/22/2014 6:57:00 PM
Description: The league has fined Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson $5,000 for flopping in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. SOURCE: Sports Illustrated
Insight: Stephenson makes $930,000 a year so that's less than one percent of his salary. He's played well recently, averaging 19.7 ppg over his last three contests. The series is tied at one heading into Saturday's Game 3 in Miami.

    Hot5/21/2014 9:41:00 AM
Description: Indiana guard Lance Stephenson had his best game of the playoffs Tuesday in a loss to the Heat.
Insight: Ten of his game-high 25 points came in the third quarter. After getting off to a slow start this postseason, Stephenson has come on strong over his last three games, averaging 19.7 ppg, 7.7 apg and 5.0 rpg during that stretch. Game 3 is Saturday at Miami.
