    Milwaukee Bucks

    Position

    Jersey
    8
    Name  Larry Sanders
    Born  11/21/1988
    Height  6-11
    Weight  235
    College  Virginia Commonwealth
    2/18/2015 12:02:00 PM
Description: Bucks forward Larry Sanders has agreed to a buyout with Milwaukee, according to Marc Stein of Espn.
Insight: The deal is all but done, and an announcement is expected soon. Sanders will be an intriguing option for NBA teams, but will not make a big impact in the fantasy world.

    1/2/2015 10:58:00 AM
Description: Bucks forward Larry Sanders has missed the past four games due to flu-like symptoms and will miss Friday's game against Indiana too.
Insight: Jason Kidd has stated that even when Sanders is healthy he'll come off the bench behind Zaza Pachulia. Pachulia has averaged 12.3 ppg, 8.8 rpg in Sanders' absence the past four games.

    12/29/2014 11:59:00 AM
Description: Bucks forward Larry Sanders has missed the past two games due to flu-like symptoms and will miss Monday's game against Charlotte too.
Insight: Zaza Pachulia would start and he's posted double-digit points the past two games, with 15 rebounds on Saturday.

    12/27/2014 10:39:00 AM
Description: Bucks forward Larry Sanders was out on Friday due to the flu and is questionable for Saturday's game against Atlanta.
Insight: Zaza Pachulia would start against his old team and along with Johnny O'Bryant would play most of the minutes.

    12/26/2014 1:32:00 PM
Description: Bucks forward Larry Sanders is out on Friday due to the flu.
Insight: Sanders is out along with Ersan Ilyasova, so the Bucks are pretty thin in the front court. Zaza Pachulia and JOhnny O'Bryant will play most of the minutes along with John Henson.

    12/18/2014 5:40:00 PM
Description: Bucks forward Larry Sanders will not play Thursday due to a suspension.
Insight: Sanders received his suspension for pushing Nicolas Batum in the back as he went up for a lay up. Zaza Pachulia is the best plug-in option while Sanders is out.

    12/5/2014 8:37:00 PM
Description: Scratch our last update as Bucks forward/center Larry Sanders will play on Friday.
Insight: Milwaukee continues to rule players out only to then put them into the lineup. Sanders should be in all fantasy lineups because of the friendly matchup against the Heat.

    12/5/2014 7:13:00 PM
Description: Bucks forward/center Larry Sanders will not play on Friday due to an illness.
Insight: It's too bad because Sanders had a friendly matchup against the Heat Friday. Zaza Pachulia is a decent plug-in option for daily leagues as he will take Sanders' spot.

    11/26/2014 10:30:00 PM
Description: Bucks forward/center Larry Sanders shot 7-of-10 from the field for 15 points during Wednesday's victory against Minnesota.
Insight: He also had seven rebounds, five blocks, two assists, one steal, and four turnovers. Solid fantasy-night for Sanders.

    11/19/2014 7:16:00 PM
Description: Bucks forward/center Larry Sanders is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nets. UPDATE: Sanders is playing Wednesday night.
Insight: The Bucks scratched Sanders late on Tuesday and will likely do the same on Wednesday. Zaza Paculia will likely get the spot start and is a decent fantasy plug-in for Wednesday.

    10/23/2014 7:11:00 PM
Description: Bucks forward/center is a double-double threat every night, but in the words of the great Charles Barkley, he is also a knucklehead.
Insight: Sanders missed a large portion of last season after breaking his thumb in a bar fight. Then he missed the end of the year after he broke his orbital bone when James Harden elbowed him in the face. Sanders will also miss the first five games of this season due to a drug suspension. When on the court though, he averaged 12.0 PPG and 11.1 RPG before the All-Star break in 2012-2013.

Description: The Bucks activated PF/C Larry Sanders Wednesday so he could begin serving his five-game suspension. SOURCE: Bucks on Twitter
Insight: Sanders, who is done for the year with a facial fracture, was suspended for testing positive for marijuana. He'll get his suspension out of the way and be ready to go at the start of next season.

    4/4/2014 8:44:00 PM
Description: Milwaukee PF/C Larry Sanders was given a five-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy. SOURCE: Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo Sports
Insight: He tested positive for marijuana. Sanders, who is already out with a facial fracture, will serve his suspension at the start of next season.

    3/19/2014 2:01:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders confirmed he won't return this season, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Insight: Sanders suffered a fractured orbital bone and had to undergo surgery in mid-February. He had a miserable season after signing a four-year, $44 million contract extension last summer (which won't kick in until next season). The center missed six weeks after tearing a thumb ligament in a nightclub brawl and ended up averaging 7.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 23 games.

    2/18/2014 7:21:00 PM
Description: According to Andrew Gruman of foxsportswisconsin.com, Bucks coach Larry Drew thinks Larry Sanders (face) won't be able to do any basketball activities for six weeks.
Insight: Sanders has been ruled out for at least six weeks due to a fractured orbital bone. If he's unable to do anything during that time his conditioning will fall behind, making him unlikely to play again this season.

    2/14/2014 11:51:00 AM
Description: Milwaukee PF/C Larry Sanders will be out a minimum of six weeks after surgery on a fractured orbital bone, according to beat reporter Aron Yohannes.
Insight: At least its not a season-ending injury. With Ersan Ilyasova (back) out as well and John Henson struggling with a sore foot, Zaza Pachulia could have fantasy value.

    2/10/2014 7:24:00 PM
Description: Milwaukee PF/C Larry Sanders is out indefinitely with a fractured orbital bone. SOURCE: Andrew Gruman, Fox Sports Wisconsin
Insight: It's not a season-ending injury but it should keep Sanders on the shelf for a while. With Ersan Ilyasova (back) out as well, it's anyone guess who the Bucks will start at power forward Monday against Boston.

    2/9/2014 3:00:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders (right eye contusion) is questionable for Monday's game, according to Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Insight: Sanders took a shot to the face from James Harden in the first quarter Saturday night and didn't return due to blurred vision in his right eye. The 25-year-old center came into Saturday's game averaging 32 minutes, 13.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals in his last five games.

    2/8/2014 10:21:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's game due to an eye injury. SOURCE: Andrew Gruman, foxsportswisconsin.com.
Insight: Sanders took a shot to the face from James Harden in the first quarter. He was considered probable to return at first but is dealing with blurred vision. The 25-year-old center came into Saturday's game averaging 32 minutes, 13.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals in his last five games.

    2/8/2014 9:42:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders went to the locker room in the first quarter Saturday night after taking a shot to the face from James Harden, but he is probable to return for the second half. SOURCE: Andrew Gruman, foxsportswisconsin.com.
Insight: Sanders was poked in the eye and should be fine. The 25-year-old center came into Saturday's game averaging 32 minutes, 13.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals in his last five games.
