    Indiana Pacers

    Position
    G

    Jersey
    32
    Name  C.J. Watson
    Born  4/17/1984
    Height  6-2
    Weight  175
    College  Tennessee
    2/8/2015 8:46:00 PM
Description: Pacers point guard C.J. Watson scored a team-high 22 points off the bench on Sunday versus the Hornets.
Insight: Watson was 7-of-11 from the field, hitting 5-for-8 from the 3-point line. He was also 3-for-4 at the free-throw line. Watson is averaging 10.1 ppg, 3.8 apg and 2.8 rpg this season.

    1/21/2015 9:57:00 PM
Description: Pacers point guard C.J. Watson scored a team-high 13 points during Wednesday's loss to the Hawks.
Insight: He also had four rebounds, three assists, one 3-pointer, two steals, and three turnovers. Watson is barely worthy of a roster spot.

    1/9/2015 11:07:00 AM
Description: Pacers point guard C.J. Watson is questionable for Friday's game against Boston due to a sore left foot.
Insight: The Pacers are very short on guards with George Hill out and Rodney Stuckey also dealing with an injury.

    1/7/2015 4:51:00 PM
Description: Pacers point guard C.J. Watson said he expects to play on Wednesday against the Warriors according to Indy Star Sports.
Insight: We would normally say check back at gametime, but the Pacers are on the west coast, so little can be done at 10:30 EST if he is out. Fantasy owners should take him for his word and place him in the lineup for Wednesday unless they have a far better fantasy option.

    1/4/2015 10:26:00 AM
Description: Pacers point guard C.J. Watson (foot) is questionable for Sunday's game against the LA Lakers.
Insight: Watson just can't get and stay healthy. With George Hill also sidelined by a groin injury, Donald Sloan should see as many minutes as he can handle. Sloan posted a nice 10 point, eight rebound, six assist night Friday and is a viable fantasy option.

    12/27/2014 10:44:00 PM
Description: Pacers point guard C.J. Watson came off the bench to score 17 points and grab nine rebounds on Saturday.
Insight: Watson didn't start but still played 30 minutes. He also had five assists and three steals while shooting 70 percent from the field and 75 percent from the 3-point line.

    12/13/2014 9:38:00 PM
Description: Pacers point guard C.J. Watson scored a season-high 23 points on Saturday.
Insight: Watson has seen a lot more opportunities to see an increase in fantasy value. He is averaging 10 ppg and 4.7 apg this month. In the last two games, Watson has played over 30 minutes in each game and is shooting 52 percent from the floor and 60 percent at the 3-point line while averaging 18 ppg.

    11/28/2014 2:10:00 PM
Description: Indiana point guard C.J. Watson is expected to play Friday night.
Insight: It will be his first action this season. He'll likely backup Donald Sloan, but we aren't sure of the PG minutes distribution.

    10/27/2014 3:20:00 PM
Description: Indiana point guard C.J. Watson will not play for the next two weeks according to the team's site.
Insight: Watson will join George Hill on the sidelines. This can't be good for pacers fans or fantasy owners.

    4/15/2014 10:43:00 PM
Description: Indiana point guard C.J. Watson will not play in the final game of the regular season for rest purposes, according to Scott Agness of pacers.com.
Insight: Watson missed most of March and three games in April due to injuries. The Pacers may have realized how much they will need him in the postseason when he scored 20 points in 25 minutes Sunday against the Thunder.

    4/13/2014 10:25:00 PM
Description: Indiana point guard C.J. Watson had 20 points, four threes and three rebounds in 25 minutes Sunday.
Insight: He played 25 minutes and starter George Hill saw just 23. "I didn't think George was playing bad," coach Frank Vogel said. "I just think C.J. was playing out of his mind."

    4/8/2014 7:20:00 PM
Description: Indiana point guard C.J. Watson returned to practice on Tuesday and now hopes to play Wednesday against the Bucks. SOURCE: Pacers.com
Insight: A strained hamstring has kept him out for most of the last month. Watson (6.3 ppg) could see a lot of minutes Wednesday if head coach Frank Vogel decides to rest his starters.

    3/25/2014 6:49:00 PM
Description: Pacers guard C.J. Watson doesn't expect to play this week. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: He's missed the last six games with a hamstring injury. George Hill (10.8 ppg) has averaged an exhausting 36.7 mpg during his absence.

    3/22/2014 10:53:00 AM
Description: Indiana backup point guard C.J. Watson (hamstring) missed his fourth consecutive game Friday and is questionable for Saturday's game against Memphis
Insight: The Pacers are plenty deep enough with starter George Hill, Donald Sloan and newly acquired Evan Turner working the point.

    3/21/2014 10:28:00 AM
Description: Indiana backup point guard C.J. Watson (hamstring) is questionable for Friday's game against Chicago.
Insight: The Pacers are plenty deep enough with starter George Hill and Evan Turner working the point.

    3/18/2014 12:08:00 PM
Description: Indiana backup point guard C.J. Watson (hamstring) missed Monday's game and is doubtful for Wednesday's game against New York.
Insight: Watson returned from an elbow injury on Friday but suffered a right hamstring strain and will likely miss a third straight game with the injury. Evan Turner has been receiving Watson's minutes.

    3/17/2014 5:54:00 PM
Description: Indiana backup point guard C.J. Watson (hamstring) will miss Monday's game.
Insight: Watson returned from an elbow injury on Friday but suffered a right hamstring strain and will miss a second straight game with the injury. Evan Turner has been receiving Watson's minutes.

    3/17/2014 10:05:00 AM
Description: Just back from an elbow problem, Indiana backup point guard C.J. Watson left Friday's game with a right hamstring strain and didn't play Saturday.
Insight: Watson is listed as questionable for Monday's game against Philadelphia. The addition of Evan Turner to the Pacers' roster means that Donald Sloan still won't see any of George Hill's minutes.

    3/15/2014 1:38:00 PM
Description: Indiana backup point guard C.J. Watson left Friday's game with a right hamstring strain and won't play Saturday. SOURCE: Krissy Myers, Pacers.com
Insight: Watson missed four games with an elbow injury and returned without practicing which may have contributed to the hamstring injury. Evan Turner should see time at point guard Satruday against Detroit.

    3/14/2014 9:16:00 PM
Description: Indiana back up point guard C.J. Watson left Friday's game with a right hamstring strain and won't return, according to Scott Agness of pacers.com.
Insight: Watson missed the last four games with an elbow injury and returned without practicing. That probably contributed to the hamstring injury.
