    Golden State Warriors

    Position
    C

    Jersey
    7
    Name  Jermaine O`Neal
    Born  10/13/1978
    Height  6-11
    Weight  255
    College  None
    5/2/2014 6:51:00 PM
Description: Golden State center Jermaine O'Neal underwent an MRI after tweaking his right knee Thursday in Game 6. SOURCE: Ric Bucher, Bleacher Report
Insight: He fully expects to play in Game 7. O'Neal is averaging 7.0 ppg on 58.1 percent shooting for the series. With Andrew Bogut (broken rib) out, O'Neal and David Lee have been splitting time at center.

    4/16/2014 2:21:00 PM
Description: Warriors C/PF Jermaine O'Neal (rest) will miss the last game of the regular season Wednesday against the Nuggets, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: Andrew Bogut is out indefinitely with a fractured rib, so Golden State is going to need to get a lot out of the 35-year-old O'Neal (7.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg) in the postseason.

    4/11/2014 9:30:00 PM
Description: Warriors C/PF Jermaine O'Neal (knee) will not play Friday against the Lakers, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: O'Neal has been solid lately with Andrew Bogut and David Lee dealing with injuries but the Warriors will have both players in the lineup Friday. He's missing Friday's game with left knee soreness.

    Hot4/2/2014 2:28:00 PM
Description: Warriors backup C/PF Jermaine O'Neal should get a third consecutive start with center Andrew Bogut sidelined.
Insight: O'Neal (7.9 ppg, 5.6 rpg) has gotten the start at center these past two games averaging 14.0 ppg and 10 rebounds. That's certainly fantasy-worthy production.

    3/20/2014 9:01:00 PM
Description: Warriors C/PF Jermaine O'Neal is in uniform and will be available in case of an emergency Thursday against Milwaukee. SOURCE: Rusty Simmons, San Francisco Chronicle
Insight: He rested on Tuesday and if Mark Jackson has enough bodies, he'd like to give the 35-year-old O'Neal (7.5 ppg, 5.2 rpg) another breather on Thursday. Andrew Bogut remains a game-time decision with an ankle injury.

    3/3/2014 5:47:00 PM
Description: Golden State C/PF Jermaine O'Neal will rejoin the team for Tuesday's game at Indiana, according to the Contra Costa Times.
Insight: O'Neal missed Sunday's game at Toronto due to a passport issue. Now that David Lee and Andrew Bogut are healthy, O'Neal has minimal fantasy value.

    3/2/2014 2:56:00 PM
Description: Golden State C/PF Jermaine O'Neal wasn't allowed to travel with the team to Toronto because he misplaced his passport. SOURCE: Holly MacKenzie, Sportsnet
Insight: O'Neal won't participate in Sunday's game though he is expected to meet the team in Indiana for their next game Tuesday against the Pacers. O'Neal's absence opens up more minutes for Marreese Speights (5.9 ppg, 3.4 rpg) and Draymond Green (5.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg).

    2/23/2014 10:10:00 AM
Description: Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal turned in a vintage performance Saturday, scoring 23 points and pulling down 13 boards over 34 minutes of play.
Insight: With Andrew Bogut out with a shoulder injury, O'Neal has played 35.5 mpg his last two games. However, the 35-year-old probably won't be able to keep logging those minutes without breaking down.

    2/19/2014 2:39:00 PM
Description: Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal (wrist) will start Wednesday in his return to action, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: O'Neal missed the last two games before the All-Star break to rest his surgically repaired wrist. With Andrew Bogut (shoulder) out Wednesday O'Neal could see a good portion of minutes, though the Warriors often go with a small lineup with David Lee at center and Draymond Green/Harrison Barnes at power forward when Bogut is out.

    2/18/2014 5:53:00 PM
Description: Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal (wrist) practiced Monday and could be back in the lineup Wednesday, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: O'Neal missed the last two games before the All-Star break to rest his surgically repaired wrist. With Andrew Bogut (shoulder) not likely to play Wednesday O'Neal could see a good portion of minutes, though the Warriors often go with a small lineup with David Lee at center and Draymond Green/Harrison Barnes at power forward when Bogut is out.

    2/11/2014 5:52:00 PM
Description: Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal will not play Wednesday. SOURCE: Rusty Simmons, San Francisco Chronicle
Insight: O'Neal also sat out Monday, but no reason was been given for his absence. It's a shame because O'Neal probably could have logged big minutes with Andrew Bogut out of the lineup (bone bruise in left shoulder). The 35-year-old O'Neal is averaging 6.5 ppg this season.

    2/10/2014 9:47:00 PM
Description: Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal won't be active for Monday's game against the 76ers. SOURCE: Rusty Simmons, San Francisco Chronicle
Insight: No reason was given for O'Neal's absence. It's a shame because O'Neal probably could have logged big minutes with Andrew Bogut out of the lineup (hip and shoulder soreness). The 35-year-old O'Neal is averaging 6.5 ppg this season.

    2/4/2014 5:14:00 PM
Description: Golden State center Jermaine O'Neal (wrist) tweeted that he'll return to the lineup Tuesday night.
Insight: O'Neal last played Dec. 9 and had surgery on his wrist on Dec. 13. He's returning way ahead of his initial four-month timetable. The backup center has averaged 18.6 minutes, 6.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 0.8 blocks this season.

    1/16/2014 8:39:00 PM
Description: Golden State center Jermaine O'Neal (wrist) is hoping to rejoin the team before the All-Star break, but there is no timetable for his return, according to csnbayarea.com.
Insight: O'Neal last played Dec. 9 and had surgery on his wrist on Dec. 13. He has averaged 6.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game this season.

    12/12/2013 3:19:00 PM
Description: Golden State center Jermaine O'Neal is headed for arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist. SOURCE: Rusty Simmons, San Francisco Chronicle
Insight: That's going to sideline the veteran indefinitely. Former UConn standout Hilton Armstrong has been called up from the D-League to take O'Neal's roster spot. This isn't going to have a major fantasy impact.

    12/11/2013 3:19:00 PM
Description: Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal (wrist) is questionable for Wednesday's game, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: O'Neal is averaging just 18.5 minutes per game this season and doesn't have any fantasy value. Even if Andrew Bogut goes down, the Warriors are unlikely to extend his minutes enough to give him fantasy relevance.

    11/26/2013 7:41:00 PM
Description: Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal (knee) is starting Tuesday against the Pelicans, according to Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group.
Insight: O'Neal is playing his first game since Nov. 16 and making his first start of the season due to Andrew Bogut's one-game suspension. He's playing 17 minutes per game this season.

    11/18/2013 11:41:00 AM
Description: Warriors backup center Jermaine O'Neal (sprained right knee/strained right groin is expected to miss Monday's game against Utah.
Insight: O'Neal has no fantasy value as the backup to Andrew Bogut. Marreese Speights could earn extra minutes for the next few games.

    11/4/2013 11:59:00 AM
Description: Warriors backup center Jermaine O'Neal (bruised right foot) is questionable for Monday's game against Philadelphia.
Insight: O'Neal has no fantasy value as the backup to Andrew Bogut. he averaged 8.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg in Phoenix last season, but his numbers aren't that good in Golden State.

    4/17/2013 7:34:00 PM
Description: Suns center Jermaine O'Neal (shin) will miss the regular season finale Wednesday night.
Insight: O'Neal dealt with injuries all season as usual and ended up averaging 8.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 55 games.
