Description: Head coach Doc Rivers has acknowledged that center Darko Milicic is unlikely to return to the Celtics this season.
Insight: Milicic is expected to return home to Serbia to be with his ill mother. He has only played five minutes all year so Milicic's absence probably won't affect many fantasy teams.

Description: The Timberwolves used their amnesty clause to waive center Darko Milicic.
Insight: Unfortunately for Milicic, he wasn't able to build off of his strong 2010-11 season (career-high 8.8 ppg) as he stumbled to just 4.6 ppg and 3.3 rpg last season. Milicic will play for his sixth different team next season. That's probably not what people were expecting when Detroit drafted him second overall ahead of Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade back in 2003.

Description: Anthony Randolph only played seven minutes and scored two points with nothing else on Friday. Darko Milicic looked pretty solid with 14 points, six boards, two steals, and two blocks in 26 minutes to help the Wolves earn the win.
Insight: If Darko was let loose in your shallow league, this is probably your cue to grab him. Randolph can be safely cut in just about all leagues after this disaster.

3/7/2011 10:59:00 PM
Description: Darko Milicic did not look like he was healthy by limping around in his 19 minutes of action. His stat line wasn't too effective with six points, four boards, a steal, and a block in the loss. Anthony Randolph weakened his case as being a reliable asset by playing just 10 minutes that yielded only two points, two boards, three assists, and a steal.
Insight: 10 minutes for Randolph is probably enough to let him loose provided that you're picking up a worthy replacement. Darko isn't making any of his owners proud with his toughness and he's probably on the chopping block in a numerous amount of leagues. Much like Randolph, don't just cut him for fun and make sure he's being swapped out for a promising player.

Description: Darko Milicic is expected to be with his wife after their birth of their daughter and will likely miss Saturday and tonight's game. SOURCE: Star Tribune
Insight: Hello, Anthony Randolph. If your trade deadline has not passed, Anthony Randolph is going to get some serious burn and should have a sky-high perceived trade value. He is coming off a 19-10 line from Wednesday and should approach the 30-minute mark in this weekend's games. Darko should remain owned in most formats, but Anthony Randolph could steal some of his minutes in the event he plays well again.

1/18/2011 1:08:00 AM
Description: Darko Milicic endeared himself to his owners once again with his 22 points on 11-of-16 shooting, eight boards, two steals, and four blocks in 34 minutes.
Insight: He absolutely should not have been cut in any league, so go ahead and make sure he's not on waivers. He is having a nice year and should be able to maintain this pace for the whole year.

1/13/2011 11:03:00 PM
Description: Darko Milicic had a double-double with 14 points, 11 boards, and two blocks in 33 minutes.
Insight: He didn't commit a foul either. Darko should not have been cut in any league, but go ahead and make sure he's not out there on waivers.

12/29/2010 11:01:00 PM
Description: Milicic had to leave the game against the Nuggets with a left hip contusion.
Insight: His return to the game is questionable as of now. Nikola Pekovic stands to gain playing time if Milicic is out any length of time. (RapidDraft.com)

12/15/2010 10:05:00 AM
Description: Milicic had a career-high 25 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to the Warriors. He was 12-for-19 from the field, but did not record a blocked shot.
Insight: Milicic had his way with the defensively limited Warrior centers, but did not post much of a challenge on the defensive end. He is averaging 9.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.7 blocks. (RapidDraft.com)

12/11/2010 3:01:00 AM
Description: Milicic started at center again for the Timberwolves tonight and had 11 points, five rebounds and two assists. He also racked up seven blocks.
Insight: Milicic continues to be somewhat productive and continues to pile up the blocks as well. He is averaging career highs in points, rebounds, assists and blocks this year. (RapidDraft.com)

12/10/2010 11:55:00 PM
Description: Darko Milicic looked just fine on Friday as he owned the paint against the Pistons, the team that drafted him, 11 points, five boards, and seven blocks.
Insight: He only committed one foul and is developing nicely in just about all the facets of the game. He is a must-own player and it is looking like we are witnessing a breakout campaign.

11/25/2010 10:05:00 AM
Description: Milicic continued to be productive with 22 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and five blocks in an overtime loss against San Antonio.
Insight: Milicic has scored at least 20 points in each of the last three games. He is averaging 2.9 blocks on the season. (RapidDraft.com)

11/25/2010 12:46:00 AM
Description: Darko Milicic was very good once again with 22 points, eight boards, four assists, and five blocks in 33 minutes.
Insight: It's almost unbelievable that he has become such a dominating fantasy force this season. Shallow league owners need to find a space for this guy.

11/22/2010 11:59:00 PM
Description: Darko Milicic had yet another productive night with 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting, four rebounds, and three blocks in 36 minutes.
Insight: Darko is consistently getting minutes and as a result he is producing monster numbers. It sounds so weird to say, but he is a surefire must-own right now.

11/20/2010 10:04:00 AM
Description: Milicic bettered his best game of the season with 23 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, and six blocks in the loss to the Lakers.
Insight: Los Angeles focused on stopping Kevin Love (who went scoreless) but left Milicic open to do some damage. After a slow start, the Serbian is starting to play well. (RapidDraft.com)

11/19/2010 10:43:00 PM
Description: Darko Milicic went absolutely nuts against the Lakers with 23 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and six blocks.
Insight: He made 10-of-18 from the line and made all three of his free throws. Kevin Love's 31-31 is nice, but this line is the line of the year for any Wolf. It sounds weird to say this, but Darko is a must-add right now.

11/16/2010 12:00:00 PM
Description: Milicic had his best game of the season with 13 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks in a losing effort to the Bobcats.
Insight: Milicic played 38 minutes and was able to produce fantasy relevant numbers. The Timberwolves already have Michael Beasley and Kevin Love producing big numbers for the frontcourt, but there is room for Darko to contribute. (RapidDraft.com)

11/15/2010 10:00:00 PM
Description: Darko Milicic blew up in front of the man who wasted a draft pick on him with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks in 38 minutes.
Insight: 38 minutes? Darko Milicic looked like Pau Gasol tonight and the Darko jokes should be kept in your back pocket for a while. He's a legitimate pick up in all leagues.

11/4/2010 11:05:00 AM
Description: Milicic is angered by his shooting slump, according to the Pioneer Press. He has made just four of 28 shots this season.
Insight: Milicic is blocking 2.6 shots per game so he is a defense plus (while being a huge offensive minus). Unless the Timberwolves decide Nikola Pekovic is an upgrade, Milicic will get time to play out of his slump. (RapidDraft.com)

10/23/2010 1:00:00 AM
Description: Milicic was effective in 29 minutes of play Friday night. He scored 12 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, had four assists, stole the ball twice and blocked two shots.
Insight: If this kind of play continues into the regular season, he should be worth a late round pick in drafts. (RapidDraft.com)
