NBA Game Summary - Golden State at Oklahoma City

    (Friday, November 29th)

Final Score: Oklahoma City 113, Golden State 112 (OT)

Oklahoma City, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oklahoma Thunder answered the Golden State Warriors' buzzer-beater from two weeks ago with a dagger of their own.

And ever since that defeat, the Thunder have been on a roll.

Russell Westbrook's go-ahead 3-pointer with 0.1 seconds remaining in overtime lifted Oklahoma City past Golden State, 113-112, on Friday night.

I didn't want to tie the game, I was trying to win, I'm just thankful it went in," Westbrook said.

After Serge Ibaka missed a foul-line jumper with 5.9 seconds left, Westbrook skied over two Warriors in defensive rebounding position, got his hand on the ball and bounced it off the floor near the left baseline.

Thabo Sefolosha saved the ball from going out of bounds by flipping it over his head and to Westbrook, who raced to the 3-point line in the left corner and knocked down the go-ahead shot for his 34th point of the night.

"Russell wanted the ball more than anyone else on the floor tonight. He had great will, made a big play and we didn't go get the basketball. It's tough, it's very tough," Warriors head coach Mark Jackson said.

Oklahoma City has won six straight since Andre Iguodala's fadeaway right baseline jumper at the buzzer lifted Golden State past the Thunder, 116-115, on Nov. 14. Westbrook's 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds left put OKC in front before Iguodala's shot.

Kevin Durant netted 25 points on just 7-of-22 from the field, but added 13 rebounds and five assists, while Ibaka had 18 points and 13 boards in the triumph.

Stephen Curry tallied 32 points, 11 rebounds and five assists for the Warriors, who have dropped five of their last six games.

Harrison Barnes split a pair of foul shots to stake Golden state a 99-94 cushion with 3:45 remaining in regulation before Durant capped an 8-2 OKC flurry with two foul shots for a 102-101 advantage with 1:49 on the clock.

Curry drilled a step-through bank shot from the left elbow at the other end, but two Ibaka free throws with 1:09 left put the Thunder back in front.

David Lee sunk 1-of-2 from the charity stripe to knot the tilt at 104-104 with 24.3 ticks to go and Durant misfired on a fadeaway jumper at the horn.

OKC led 110-106 midway through the overtime session before six unanswered by the Warriors swung the pendulum back in their favor. Barnes' reverse layup capped the swing and made it 112-110 with 45.1 ticks to go.

Durant and Barnes then traded misses before Westbrook's three was the game's 20th and final lead change.

The Thunder led 32-28 after a quarter of play and 54-51 at the break. Golden State outscored OKC 31-22 in the third to take an 82-76 lead into the final frame of regulation.

    Game Notes

OKC netted 17 points off 15 Golden State turnovers ... Lee had 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Klay Thompson 16 points and six rebounds for the Warriors ... The Thunder shot just 39.1 percent (36-of-92) from the field.
