    7/13/2014 12:32:00 PM
Description: Toronto starter R.A. Dickey has baffled most of Tampa Bay's lineup in his career.
Insight: Dickey is a worthwhile fantasy option Sunday. Fantasy owners should avoid Evan Longoria (5-for-22 against Dickey), Ben Zobrist (5-24), Matt Joyce (5-27), James Loney (5-26) and Desmond Jennings (2-18) against the knuckleballer.

    6/17/2014 9:24:00 AM

    5/24/2014 8:25:00 PM
Description: Toronto starter R.A. Dickey was excellent Saturday in a win over Oakland.
Insight: He almost went the full nine, allowing five hits, two runs and one walk over 8 1/3 innings. After starting the year 1-3, Dickey has now won four of his last six starts. During that span, he's lowered his ERA from 6.26 to where it currently stands at 3.95.

Description: Jays right-hander R.A. Dickey is having his start pushed back to Saturday. SOURCE: John Lott, National Post
Insight: Dickey (4-4, 4.20 ERA) was scheduled to pitch Friday but now he'll get an extra day of rest. Former Minnesota Twin Liam Hendriks will draw the start Friday versus Oakland.

    4/27/2014 5:59:00 PM
Description: Toronto starter R.A. Dickey gave up one earned run on five hits in 6 1/3 innings Sunday versus the Red Sox to pick up his second win of the year.
Insight: Dickey has thrown two straight quality starts after allowing 10 earned runs in 11 1/3 innings in the two starts prior. He has a 5.09 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP but his K/BB is moving in the right direction (4.0 last two starts, 1.2 first four).

    4/5/2014 7:47:00 PM
Description: Toronto starter R.A. Dickey rebounded from a poor Opening Day start with 6 2/3 shutout innings Saturday against the Yankees.
Insight: Dickey gave up six earned runs in five innings at Tampa Bay in his first start but scattered just five hits Saturday. He didn't walk anyone and struck out six after recording a 4/6 K/BB in the opener. The 2012 NL Cy Young Award winner had a 4.21 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP last season.

    3/31/2014 8:26:00 PM
Description: Toronto starter R.A. Dickey walked six and allowed six earned runs in five innings on Opening Day at Tampa Bay.
Insight: Not how Dickey wanted to start the season after he had a 4.21 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP last year.

    2/18/2014 7:49:00 PM
Description: R.A. Dickey will be Toronto's Opening Day starter. SOURCE: Shi Davidi, Sportsnet
Insight: He'll be on the mound March 31st against the Rays. Dickey's 2013 campaign was a bit of a letdown (14-13, 4.21 ERA). After starting the year 2-5, he's lucky he made it back to .500.

    9/17/2013 9:38:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays starter R.A. Dickey blanked the Yankees over seven innings Tuesday to improve to 13-12. He struck out eight, walked two and allowed four hits.

    8/31/2013 5:20:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays starter R.A. Dickey held the Royals to two runs on seven hits over eight innings Saturday to improve to 11-12.
Insight: Dickey has whittled his ERA down to 4.30 after going 3-1 with a 3.07 ERA in August. He remains a risky pitcher going into September due to his trouble with the longball.

    7/21/2013 5:41:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays starter R.A. Dickey has allowed 23 homers in 134 2/3 innings this season, just one less than he gave up in 233 2/3 frames last season.
Insight: In addition, his K/9 is down from 8.86 to 6.68 and his BB/9 is up from 2.08 to 3.21. Add all that up and you have a pitcher who is 8-11 with a 4.75 ERA.

    Hot7/1/2013 7:41:00 PM
Description: Toronto knuckleballer R.A. Dickey (7 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 4 K's) notched his eighth win of the season Monday in a matinee against the Tigers.
Insight: Dickey is 2-0 with a 1.13 ERA in his last two appearances. He has a 10:2 strikeout to walk ratio over that span.

    6/26/2013 3:08:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays hurler R.A. Dickey authored his first shutout of the season, yielding just two harmless hits, to the Tampa Bay Rays.
Insight: Dickey posted three shutouts en route to an NL Cy Young award last season with the Mets but has struggled in his first year with Toronto. Heading into this contest, he had a 6-8 record with a 5.15 ERA and a 1.395 WHIP.

    6/21/2013 10:25:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays hurler R.A. Dickey had another rough outing Friday against the Orioles, allowing three homers and six earned runs in six innings.
Insight: Dickey has served up 17 home runs in 99 2/3 innings (1.54 HR/9) after giving up 24 in 233 2/3 innings last season (0.92 HR/9). His walk rate is also up, from 2.08/9 to 3.61/9, and his K/9 is down from 8.86 to 6.44. At this point, there doesn't seem to be any chance of Dickey returning to Cy Young form.
