Description: Ben Bishop wasn't letting anything get past him Saturday in a win against New Jersey.
Insight: The Lightning netminder stopped all 23 shots that came his way. He now has five shutouts, second-most behind Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask. Bishop should be in action again Monday versus Vancouver.
Description: Maple Leafs goaltender Jonathan Bernier left Thursday's game against the Kings after one period due to a lower-body injury, according to the Toronto Sun.
Insight: Bernier was sore before the game and will be evaluated Friday, coach Randy Carlyle said. James Reimer (11-8-1, 3.23 GAA, .914 SV%) made 31 saves on 31 shots in relief to beat Los Angeles Thursday and would start if Bernier is out.
Description: Stars netminder Kari Lehtonen (concussion) skated before practice Thursday and is nearing a return, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Insight: "Kari is doing great," coach Lindy Ruff said. "He’ll see the doctors (Friday) to see if he can be cleared. If he’s cleared, he’ll keep progressing. He’s way ahead of where I thought he would be." Lehtonen suffered a concussion last Saturday when Minnesota's Erik Haula ran him over, causing his helmet to fly off and his head to hit the crossbar. Tim Thomas made his first start with the team Tuesday at St. Louis and will continue to handle the net until Lehtonen returns.
Description: Dallas goalie Kari Lehtonen likely suffered a concussion Saturday night and is doubtful for Monday's game against Columbus.
Insight: Minnesota's Erik Haula came in hard while trying to control the puck, lost control of his ability to stop when Dallas' Cody Eakin tripped out his right foot and barreled over Lehtonen. The goaltender's helmet flew off and his head hit the crossbar. The Stars just acquired Tim Thomas to serve as insurance for Lehtonen. Smart move.
Description: Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist shut out the Red Wings Sunday in a 3-0 win.
Insight: Johan Franzen and Gustav Nyquist have been doing an admirable job keeping Detroit's offense afloat with Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk injured, but Lundqvist shut them down. He had a 3.77 GAA and an .872 SV% in his first four starts of March after posting a 1.91 GAA and a .937 SV% in January and February.

Insight: Minnesota's Erik Haula came in hard while trying to control the puck, lost control of his ability to stop when Dallas' Cody Eakin tripped out his right foot and barreled over Lehtonen. The goaltender's helmet flew off and his head hit the crossbar. The Stars just acquired Tim Thomas to serve as insurance for Lehtonen, who has been injury-prone in his career.
Description: Washington's newly-acquired goalie Jaroslav Halak will make his Capitals debut on Saturday.
Insight: Halak never played a game for the Sabres after being traded from the Blues. He'll have his hands full with a less-than stellar defense in front of him. Halak was 24-9-4 with a 2.23 GAA and .917 SV% in St. Louis.
Description: Flyers backup goalie Ray Emery will miss Saturday's game against Toronto due to a groin injury.
Insight: Emery hasn't gotten much work this season going 7-9-1 with a 3.03 GAA and .898 SV%. That's nothing like the 17-1-0 record (1.94 GAA, .922 SV%) he put together last season in Chicago. Steve Mason has started 10 of the Flyers' 11 games since Jan. 25.
Description: Goalie Jaroslav Halak wasn't in Buffalo for long. He's on the move again, this time to the Washington Capitals. SOURCE: Bob McKenzie, TSN
Insight: Halak never played a game for the Sabres after being traded from the Blues. He'll presumably will replace Braden Holtby as Washington's starter. The Caps are a below-average defensive team but nowhere near as terrible as Buffalo.
Description: Reto Berra has been moved from the Flames to the Avalanche, according to Adrian Dater of the Denver Post.
Insight: The 27-year-old Berra (2.95 GAA, .897 SV%) split starts with Karri Ramo (2.66 GAA, .908 SV%) this season and will serve as Colorado's next man up should Semyon Varlamov or Jean-Sebastien-Gigure get injured.
Description: The Canadiens have grabbed goalie Devan Dubnyk from the Predators for future considerations, according to Pierre LeBrun of ESPN.com. UPDATE: Dubnyk has been sent to the AHL.
Insight: The move is a sign that Carey Price isn't ready to return and won't be for at least a few games. Dubnyk, the former starter in Edmonton, played just two games with the Predators after being traded in mid-January and allowed nine goals on 60 shots. The Canadiens will keep Dustin Tokarski to back up Peter Budaj until Price returns.
Description: Minnesota goalie Niklas Backstrom is done for the season with an abdominal injury, according to the Star Tribune.
Insight: Backstrom had sports hernia surgery last offseason and had a terrible year, losing his job to Josh Harding and dealing with several injuries. With Harding out indefinitely due to multiple sclerosis, Darcy Kuemper (11-3-2, 2.19 GAA, .924 SV%) is now the full-time starter, with newly acquired Ilya Bryzgalov backing him up.
Description: Oilers goalie Ben Scrivens has gone 4-4-0 with a 2.13 GAA and a .941 SV% since joining Edmonton.
Insight: Scrivens is doing some amazing things in the Oilers' net despite having one of the worst defensive teams in the NHL in front of him. He was equally as strong with the Kings, a much better defensive team, earlier this season and leads the NHL with a .935 SV%.
Description: Carolina goaltender Anton Khudobin still hasn't allowed more than three goals in any game this season.
Insight: Khudobin received a two-year contract extension from the Hurricanes on Tuesday and then allowed just two goals on 37 shots in an overtime win at San Jose. He's 14-8-0 with a 2.16 GAA and a .928 SV% this season and should start the majority of Carolina's games for the rest of the season.
Description: Islanders goalie Anders Nilsson made 36 saves in a 3-2 overtime win at Winnipeg on Tuesday.
Insight: The 23-year-old Nilsson has started the last two games after Evgeni Nabokov was shelled for five goals in 40 minutes Saturday. The Islanders are playing for the future so Nilsson may see the majority of the starts down the stretch, but New York's defense isn't very good and Nilsson's AHL stats were unimpressive the last two seasons.
Description: The Oilers acquired Viktor Fasth from the Ducks on Tuesday for two draft picks.
Insight: Fasth has played just five games this season and zero since Nov. 18 due to injuries after going 15-6-2 with a 2.18 GAA and a .921 SV% as a rookie in 2012-13. He'll serve as a backup to Ben Scrivens.
Description: The Oilers traded Ilya Bryzgalov to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday for a fourth-rounder.
Insight: Bryzgalov went 5-8-5 with a 3.01 GAA And a .908 SV% over 20 games in Edmonton. The Wild were in need of a backup to rookie Darcy Kuemper (11-3-2, 2.19 GAA, .924 SV%) with Niklas Backstrom dealing with injuries and ineffectiveness and Josh Harding still on injured reserve due to illness. Edmonton acquired Viktor Fasth from the Ducks Tuesday to back up Ben Scrivens.
Description: Goaltender Jacob Markstrom has been sent from the Florida Panthers to the Vancouver Canucks in the Roberto Luongo trade.
Insight: The 24-year-old was considered Florida's goalie of the future, but he has gone 11-25-5 with a 3.21 GAA and an .898 SV% in 43 career appearances. Markstrom will be serving as a backup to Eddie Lack on the Canucks, so there's no immediate need to add him in fantasy leagues.
Description: The Canucks have traded goaltender Roberto Luongo and Steven Anthony to the Florida Panthers for Jacob Markstrom and Shawn Matthias, according to Elliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada.
Insight: Luongo (19-16-6, 2.38 GAA, .917 SV%) played with the Panthers from 2000-06 before being traded to Vancouver. Joining a middling defensive team like Florida won't do much for his fantasy value. It also doesn't make much sense for Florida to pick up a 34-year-old goalie with eight years still remaining on his contract after this season.
Description: Predators goalie Pekka Rinne (hip) is the scheduled starter for Tuesday's game against the Penguins.
Insight: Rinne has been out with a hip infection since October. The Predators will probably still give Carter Hutton some starts while Rinne works his way back, but Rinne should get the majority of the starts. He should be added in all leagues but isn't a recommended option Tuesday against the high-powered Penguins.
Description: Canadiens goalie Carey Price will miss his fourth straight game Monday night, according to John Lu of tsn.ca.
Insight: Price suffered a lower-body injury during the Sochi Olympics and was placed on injured reserve, retroactive to Feb. 26, on Monday. Peter Budaj will start at Los Angeles after winning the last two games for Montreal.
Description: Ryan Miller will make his St. Louis debut Sunday against Phoenix. SOURCE: Lou Korac, NHL.com
Insight: This is going to be weird. Miller played 540 games for the Sabres and probably assumed he would finish his career in Buffalo. Now he finds himself in the middle of a tight battle for first place in the Central Division (St. Louis trails division leader Chicago by two points). Miller made 38 saves against the Coyotes when he faced them in January.
