Description: Kings center Anze Kopitar had a goal and an assist on Saturday.
Insight: Kopitar has eight goals and 17 assists this season, which is disappointing after last season's Cup run. Kopitar is also minus-five, which is his worst rating since 2008-2009. Last season, he was plus-34. Hopefully Kopitar can get going soon.
Description: Kings left winger Marian Gaborik scored two goals in the loss Tuesday.
Insight: Gaborik still did not post a plus-rating as the Kings as a team had a poor game. Los Angeles lost, 5-2, with the final goal coming with an empty net. Gaborik was the lone bright spot with two scores on three shots.
Description: Kings left winger Marian Gaborik will play on the third line Sunday.

Insight: It was only his seventh game of the season, but Gaborik recorded a goal and an assist, along with two shots and a +2 rating on the night. He now has three points overall. Owners should be prepared for Gaborik to break loose.
Description: Kings goalie Jonathan Quick won his first game of the season on Tuesday.

Description: Kings left winger Marian Gaborik is dealing with an injury and has been downgraded to out for Tuesday's game with Edmonton.
Insight: Gaborik showed what he could do for LA in the postseason posting 14 goals and 22 points in 26 games, but injuries are the hurdle he must get past to have a fantasy-worthy season. Mike Richards is set to play in his spot on the top line.
Description: Kings goalie Jonathan Quick is still in search of his first win of the season.
Insight: After giving up four goals in the opener, Quick gave up another three Saturday night, in an overtime loss to the Coyotes. He was much better in his second game however, stopping 37-of-40 shots. He is now 0-1-1, but owners should not worry, as Quick is one of the elite goalies in the NHL.
Description: Kings center Jeff Carter notched his first goal of the 2014-15 season on Saturday night.
Insight: It was his first point of the season as well. Carter was +2 on the night, with four shots on goal, in Los Angeles' overtime loss to Arizona. He should end up around the 50-to-60 point mark by season's end.
Description: Kings defensman Drew Doughty is a solid two-way player who can also add decent scoring to your fantasy lineup.
Insight: The 24-year-old posted just 37 points in 2013-14, but we see improvement in 2014-15. And you have to love his big plus/minus numbers. He's only posted 40 or more points one time, but we think he cracks it this season.
Description: Kings center Jeff Carter knows how to put the pick in the next and that won't change in 2014-15.
Insight: He lit the lamp 27 times last season and we are predicting 28 goals in 2014-15 playing on the second line with youngsters Tanner Pearson and Tyler Toffoli. He's not back to his Philadelphia days, but he's still a rock-solid fantasy option.
Description: Kings winger Justin Williams should get the cushy spot on the first line with left winger Marian Gaborik and center Anze Kopitar.
Insight: Williams played like an elite winger in the playoffs (9 goals, 16 assists), now fantasy owners want to see that same level of production in the regular season. He posted 19 goals, 24 assists and 239 shots on goal in 2013-14. Nice, but we need more and our projection have him reaching the 60-point mark for the first time with Los Angeles.
Description: Kings left winger Marian Gaborik could be in for a very good season on a line with Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams.
Insight: Gaborik showed what he could do for LA in the postseason posting 14 goals and 22 points in 26 games. Now if he can just stay healthy and play a full season, he played 41 last year, the sky's the limit. TSN's projection have him scoring 32 times for 54 points.
Description: Kings center Anze Kopitar will play between Marian Gaborik and Justin Williams this season which could help him break into the next level.
Insight: Kopitar scored 29 goals and 70 points in 82 games last season and has scored at least 61 points in every full season. But he's only cracked 80 points one time. The addition of Gaborik might change that.
Description: Kings head coach Darryl Sutter believes that center Anze Kopitar does not get the recognition for his offensive game according to the Orange County Register.
Insight: Kopitar scored 29 goals and 70 points in 82 games last season. He also led the Stanley Cup playoffs in points. The center will certainly draw attention in standard fantasy leagues as he should go pretty early.

Insight: Los Angeles hit the jackpot in its deadline acquisition of Gaborik for Matt Frattin and two draft picks. He had five goals and 11 assists in 19 regular season games and led the NHL with 14 goals in the Stanley Cup Playoffs to help the Kings win their second title in three years. This is still a risky signing, however, because Gaborik is 32 years old and missed 41 games last season.
Description: Kings winger Justin Williams took home the Conn Smythe trophy for the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Insight: Williams produced nine goals and 25 points in 26 postseason games for the Stanley Cup champions after putting up 19 goals, 24 assists and 239 shots on goal in the regular season. Description: Los Angeles Kings defenseman Willie Mitchell is questionable for Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals Saturday against Anaheim with an upper body injury.
Insight: He did skate before Game 6, but didn't play. Mitchell isn't a big scorer (1 G, 11 A), but he plays solid defense (+14). Still, it's not enough production for most fantasy owners. He has one point in six playoff contests.
Description: Los Angeles right wing Marian Gaborik had himself a night Saturday in a win over the Ducks.

Description: Sunday was an eventful night for Kings center Jeff Carter.
Insight: Carter netted two goals including one on the power play. He also assisted on Trevor Lewis' goal in the second period. Because all of that wasn't enough for Carter, he decided to punch a guy and get a ten-minute misconduct. Carter and the Kings have now win six straight games. They'll have a chance to make it seven in a row Monday night at Calgary.
Description: Los Angeles goalie Jonathan Quick is the projected starter against the Wild after leaving the ice first during Tuesday's morning skate.
Insight: Quick beat the Canucks with 27 saves on 28 shots Saturday in his return to the lineup after missing 24 games with a groin injury. Both Ben Scrivens and Martin Jones were dominant in Quick's absence due in large part to Los Angeles' tremendous defense, and Quick should be able to continue their success if he's finally healthy.
Description: The Kings have sent goalie Martin Jones back to Manchester of the AHL. SOURCE: Kings on Twitter
Insight: The Kings needed to make room on their roster for Jonathan Quick. Jones did extremely well during his 11-game stint in the NHL (8-3, 1.41 GAA, .950 save percentage). If something happens to Quick or Ben Scrivens, Los Angeles won't hesitate to bring him back.
Description: Kings goalie Jonathan Quick could be back in the net Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Insight: Quick has been out with a strained groin since Nov. 12. Quick's fantasy owners actually caught a break when rookie Martin Jones started out 8-0-0 with three shutouts because it put a stop to Ben Scrivens' hot streak and removed any chance of a goalie controversy. The team will send Jones, who has lost three straight games, back to the minors and keep Scrivens on the bench behind Quick.
Description: Kings goalie Jonathan Quick made the trip with the team and could return the first week in January.
Insight: Quick has been out with a strained groin since Nov. 12. Quick (10-5-0, 2.35 GAA, .905 SV%) will take over as primary goaltender when healthy, though Ben Scrivens (7-4-4, 1.76 GAA, .938 SV%) has played well as his replacement.
